Ac Hotel Sants By Marriott

Next to the train station was great. Room was spacious, cleaned. Breakfast was great, good variety. Staff was great, housekeeping lady was so helpful. Lots of restaurants nearby

I gave a high rating due to the staff at this hotel. The staff is simply amazing! From the front desk to the bar to the cleaning staff, this property won me over. In all honesty, this high regard was earned. The first room we were assigned did not have a functioning TV and was very small for two adult people. So, rooms can be hit and miss with AC and TV functionality. The staff was fantastic, quickly assigning us to a new room with a functioning TV, functioning AC and classic space for a double occupancy room. I ordered food and drinks from the bar, I rate service, food quality and atmosphere a 10 out of 10. Overall, I would stay here again. It is in an amazing location and has an amazing staff.

Marriot is my goto brand. I was a platinum member at one time and a loyal one, so I dont usually review them. But this time a couple of things prompted me. We stayed for 3 days here. The staff members were helpful and courteous. The wifi was bad right from the start. We complained. We ended going to cafes to take meetings that required connectivity. This was annoying during the heat wave in Europe. The A/C was not that great. Perhaps their central unit could not cope with tbe hear load. After paying so much per night, one expects it to be better than that!!!

Air-conditioner in room was out of service and I was not offered any apology or compensation. They were supposedly fully booked and so would not change my room. The rather unfriendly reception staff did bring up a fan. The room otherwise looked lovely and was clean. Unfortunately the in-room coffee machine also did not work. A few minutes after I checked in, a staff member let themselves into my room without knocking. I’ve raised all these concerns directly with the hotel group first before posting this but have not received a satisfactory response.
