AMAZING stay!! Recommend 100% The receptionists were very helpful and polite, the rooms were cleaned every day and the food was perfect! It also had a van that transported us to the metro when we needed it! Plus points for the pool and even the sauna! 5 star stay we had the best time!!
We had a wonderful stay at Abba Garden and would absolutely recommend this hotel, especially for families and larger groups. A special thank you to Marc at the reception, he was exceptional! He was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and made us feel truly welcomed. His kindness and professionalism made such a difference and really elevated our entire experience. Thank you, Marc! The hotel is very clean. The pool is spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing, especially after a busy day exploring Barcelona. The location is also great for families. There is a beautiful park nearby with several playgrounds, which was wonderful for the children in our group. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the metro, which makes getting around Barcelona much easier. And the breakfast was excellent— plenty of choices, fresh food, and a great way to start the day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Abba Garden. While some interactions at reception were less attentive, Marc truly stood out and made everything amazing for us. He deserves special recognition for his outstanding service. We were traveling with a large group, and Abba Garden was a great choice for us. We would happily stay here again.
I would definitely choose to avoid this hotel. I have been bitten to death by bed bugs all down the back of my legs and back so i know its bed bugs as you sleep on your back. And no one else has been bitten other than me. Also one certain receptionist are extremely rude and was sighing at me and started saying something in spanish to themselves. Absolutely disgusting and rude. Also it’s really hard to communicate with any of the staff. There is also a lack of sunloungers around the pool so you have to lie on the floor if you don’t get up early enough for the sunbeds. Bear in mind there isn’t many people around the pool so that shows how many our put out. I i’m in severe discomfort from my bites and it’s ruined my holiday. 100% avoid. I seen reviews about bed bugs prior to the stay and they clearly don’t care enough to do anything about it also it is in the middle of nowhere and have to walk 15 mineutes to go to the shop.
I had a wonderful stay at abba Garden Hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything about the hotel was fantastic — from the facilities to the overall atmosphere. It really made our trip enjoyable. The only small issue was the shuttle service. It would be great if the hotel could make the shuttle available on public holidays as well, especially for guests who rely on it for transportation. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Even though it’s a business trip, I booked through Jet2 holiday, requested a premium room with king bed but was given two twin beds upon checking in. I couldn’t be bother to change room the following day, so left it as that. Bed was comfortable and slept well for 2 nights. 3rd night which was my last night, had a lady next door in room 310 talking on the phone all evening until midnight. I was tired from working all day and tried to sleep, woken up a few times by her laughters. I could’ve phoned the receptionist to sort it out but was so tired, I couldn’t even get to the phone by the TV. Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of choices and loved the freshly squeezed orange juice too. I had evening meals all 3 nights too. Reasonable price for tasty food, service was great but G&T was €15. My friends had 4 bottle of beers for the same price of my 1 drink. But it was well made and presented. The spa was €8 for 45 mins pre booked. 15 mins before I went to check and they had put my booking down for the wrong Saturday. Anyway I was rebooked and had the whole spa to myself, so it was lovely to use jacuzzi, sauna and steam room alone wish the session was longer. At the checked out they tried to charge me 3 x spa when I only had 1 session. Convenient to walk to Metro but there is no other restaurants nearby. Despite the confusion over bookings etc, I’m happy to stay again for my next visit.
