1881 Barcelona Gran Rosellon

Booked for a room with terrace. Had to get a room change because the original room had a few issues (door to terrace was broken, ac leaked, and the pipe to one of the sinks would spray water when used). Thankfully, the staff was super helpful and switched our rooms as soon as possible. Had no issues with the new room. Great location to explore the city. Pretty close to several metro stops

Although budget hotel rooms were clean and tidy. Tea/coffee making facilities in room, but no milk. Facilities include a rooftop swimming pool and basic gym.Also continental breakfast and some evening food in restaurant area at back, didn’t try this as so many food places so near. Fantastic location for exploring Barcelona, great area for food and very safe feeling even late at night.

We had an excellent stay at 1881 Barcelona Rosellón Hotel. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore Barcelona's top attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the rooftop terrace was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. What stood out most was the friendly and helpful staff, who were always willing to assist with recommendations and any questions we had. The hotel offered a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona

We having a pleasant stay overall and found the hotel to be a good base for exploring Barcelona. The location is excellent, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The rooftop terrace offers nice city views, and while the pool is quite small and not a destination in itself, it was a welcome amenity after a day of sightseeing. The staff at check-in were particularly friendly, professional, and helpful, which made for a positive first impression. Feels very clean and tidy. The room itself was compact but efficiently designed, and the air conditioning worked well. However, the bed and pillows were firmer than we prefer, which affected overall comfort. The bathroom was clean but showed some signs of wear and lacked the upscale feel we expected. One of the wall-mounted amenity dispensers appeared damaged, and the sink drained very slowly throughout our stay. While these were relatively minor issues, they detracted from what was otherwise a comfortable experience. The amenities provided were adequate, but the room and bathroom felt more functional than luxurious. Overall, this is a well-located hotel with excellent staff, nice views, and a convenient location. It worked well for a city stay, though a few maintenance updates and comfort improvements would elevate the experience.
