The scenery was beautiful! The instructions and safety measures were good. It was our first time repelling but after the initial nerves we enjoyed it so much!

The tour was a lot of fun, the tour guides are all very nice and helpful.

This was great bang for your buck for a half day tour (rappels, a zip line, a slide down the cascade), the guides were very knowledgeable, energetic, and friendly. As a novice climber I could tell that the equipment was in great condition and all very safe!

Absolutely unreal experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This canyoning trip was hands-down one of the most exciting and intense adventures I’ve ever done. We took on the hardest route, including a 35-meter waterfall rappel, and every second was pure adrenaline. Huge shoutout to the guides Alex, Darwin, and Recardo — they were phenomenal. You could tell they were extremely experienced, calm, and fully in control the entire time. Safety was clearly their top priority: they explained everything thoroughly, checked every harness and knot, and were always positioned to protect and support us through the toughest sections. That level of care made it possible to fully enjoy the thrill without hesitation. Tip: Wear more tight under layers because it will get cold.

The guides provided a variety of experiences (Rappelling, zip-lining & plunging) throughout the day allowing us to challenge and enjoy ourselves. Was especially impressed with the way they took our safety into consideration without taking any of the fun away. The inclusive lunch after the canyoning and pictures/videos that they took which were all included capped off a very special day for me and my three adult sons. Highly recommend this team of professionals!

AMAZING! You have to do make sure you do this when in Baños, this was the best thing we did in all of Ecuador! The guides are very fun and everything was super safe.

It was a bit rainy but it didn't bother us. It is actually the perfect activity to do on a rainy or foggy day since you get wet anyways and can't enjoy other activities so well. Our guide was called Matteo and he helped everyone in the group and made sure we had fun and stayed safe. He spoke very good English and of course Spanish too. They provided all the equipment in correct sizes, as well as transportation to and from the canyon. Our guide took pictures and videos with a GoPro and they were included in the price. Super value for money and very fun!

So much fun! It was just us the entire tour. We booked 2 hours in advance and we had Alex as our guide. He took photos and videos of us the entire time and we were laughing or screaming the entire time. So much fun. Would do it again!!

We had heard amazing things about this company from friends we met on our travels. And wow! We booked 2 hours earlier and it was so much fun. Alex took us out on the beginner canyoning tour. We abseiled down 5-6 waterfalls, slid down 2 waterfalls and then there’s a big surprise at the end! So much fun, would recommend to anyone. We might even do it again! They even bring a GoPro for you. It was only two people: my girlfriend and I for the canyoning trip. Ivagatours didn’t cancel the trip for us despite there were only 2 people so we had a private trip :) the two guides were friendly and helpful. The trip also includes a delicious lunch of local food as well as photos and videos of the canyoning actions. Overall it was a great experience.

Couldn’t recommend enough. Mateo and Daniel were our guides during the tour. They gave thorough explanations of what to do. Equipment was provided and we got a private transfer to the spot. We got to leave our belongings in a secure place. I had trouble hiking up the Minton mountain to get to the waterfalls (altitude!) and the guides were encouraging and patient the entire time. The canyoning itself was AMAZING. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS. The scenery was amazing. Thrilling, invigorating, exciting. Lives up to the hype. We felt so comfortable and we had a blast. You also get pictures included with the tour which is so necessary. Highly recommend IvagaTours!

Booked a last minute canyoning trip with Ivagotours and they were extremely accommodating. Added a last minute person to our group with no issue. The cabro, Anaconda, and Cuy were awesome tour guides. Mateo was the reason the Baca group had so much fun. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome experience with Alberto, Daniel, Angel and the whole “muchachos malos group”! The canyoning itself was awesome and the guides were well-prepared. The gear was all practically brand new. At the end of the day, we got lunch at a trout farm near the end of the canyoning route The activity was a lot of fun for those who like adventure! My son and I had an amaizing Chamana Canyoning tour today. Our guides, Alberto and Daniel were supper Profesional, and created fun, safe and unique experience for us!

Alberto, Renaldo, Daniel, and Danny were great instructors and super friendly. We were complete beginners, and when I was a little apprehensive about one of the jumps, they were super easy going and boosted my confidence so I could keep going. The trip was memorable, fun, and I would definitely do it again! 10/10 would recommend.

Canyoning in Baños is definitely worth it. Had a great crew (Mateo, Steven, Daniel & Danny) with Ivagatours who made it even better. Some high jumps, ziplining, a sailing and exploring the canyons; great tour for adventure seekers!

I had a great time with Mateo and the other guides. They did a great job of making the activity fun and safe.

We did this with kids aged 6 and 10. They provided a lot of attention, including going out to buy a new pair of shoes for one kid to make sure they had a kit that fits. I was worried about being cold in the water - it was overcast, but they have quality and thick wetsuits (didn’t see this on all tours) and was warm and insulated throughout. 3 guides for the 4 of us, so a lot of support and attention so that the kids could maximise their experience and parents could be confortable with the different stages of the canyoning. Great lunch afterwards - the best day of our Galapagos/Ecuador trip for our 10 year-old. Guided by the team of Daniel, Alex and Matteo - they really know their stuff, and recorded the whole thing for us. Definitely recommended.

It was amazing. I went canyoning with Tour hides Reinaldo and Alberto and they were easygoing and clear with their instructions. Whole thing was fun, memorable and had a lot of variety. Highly recommend!

Daniel, Mateo and Angel were awesome tour guides. We were a group of three guys, Team Boricua, and we had a blast from beginning to end. The experience kept getting more extreme as the trail went on, there were parts that were very challenging but the guides helped a lot. We were complete beginners to canyoning and we were able to rappel, jump from cascades, climb boulders and swim under cascades. The price included photos from a go-pro and food. It was completely worth it.

Thought of countless ways to write this review but simply you can't put this adventure into words. Let me start off with, Thank you so much Adolfo! This was a last minute reservation which literally was booked hours before BOTH the white water rafting and water rappelling where to begin. I wasn't expecting a response but lo and behold Adolfo was there to take care of all my needs. He coordinated pickup from my hotel the following morning which when you're in a new country makes life so much easier. After a smooth pickup we were taken to their main office where we signed paperwork and made our payment. After getting our sizes down, we were transferred to our group where the white water rafting would begin. Everything was so organized and worry free. This was my fifth time white water rafting but this right here was a whole different, nothing compares to the waves and views, absolutely breathtaking! Once our white water adventure was done we were taken to a great lunch which was included in the itinerary. Shortly after, my friend and I were taken to meet with our guides Angel and Steven. Angel and Steven, thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I am a self claimed adrenaline junkie but rappelling was terrifying. Sure waterfall jumps don't sound too bad when you're watching online or reading the reviews but this is a different level of WOW. These two guys were beyond patient, very encourage and most importantly so patient. We were always always always in great hands and trust me you will be too! I wish I could give this place 10 stars since it's well deserved but if you're looking to book a trip of a lifetime, book here!!!

We went canyoning as absolute beginners and were a little nervous because we didn't know what to expect. Luckily our guide Mattheo, a.k.a. The waterfalls where breathtaking! The guides Chivito and Alberto where so nice fun and patient!! I was a bit worried because my kids are 12 and 8 but they helped us and made this and amazing experience for all of us ! Highly recommend them

Amazing experience! The crew (Alex, Matteo and Abril) is very experienced, professional and super fun. The equipment was also good quality. I was very nervous as it was my first time canyoning and I’m a bit scared of heights, but they made me feel at ease. Matteo was hyping us up the whole time, so everything seemed less scary 😅 They are taking photos and videos of the trip as well which is included in the price. I highly recommend them for any activity (we also went water rafting through them which was just as great). Go Team Salchipapas!

Check in was easy and the equipment provided was in great condition. Mateo provided a detail tutorial before starting. He made sure I felt safe. It was sooo much fun and high adrenaline. He took great pictures that captured from beginning to the end. Memories for a lifetime. WEPA

They always prioritized safety and made sure were were ok at every step of the way. We took the Chamana Alto route and it was incredible! Packed full of adrenaline and fun - highly recommended!
