Itinerary
Wat Pho is widely known as the 'Temple of the Reclining Buddha'. It is not only one of the largest temple complexes in Bangkok, but also one of the oldest, with origins dating back to the 16th century, long before Bangkok became Thailand’s capital. The temple is famous for its enormous reclining Buddha statue, which measures 46 metres in length and is beautifully covered in gold leaf. The statue represents the Buddha entering Nirvana and is one of the most impressive religious sculptures in Thailand. The soles of the Buddha’s feet are inlaid with intricate mother-of-pearl designs depicting sacred symbols of Buddhism. Beyond the famous statue, Wat Pho is also known for its beautifully decorated chedis, colourful murals, tranquil courtyards, and traditional Thai architecture, making it one of the most fascinating temples to explore in Bangkok. Please note : The entrance fee of THB 300 per person is NOT included and must be paid cash on the day of the tour.
Wat Arun, also known as the “Temple of Dawn,” is one of the most iconic and visually striking temples in Bangkok. Located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River in the historic Thonburi district, its elegant silhouette rises majestically above the water. The temple dates back to the Ayutthaya period but gained prominence in the late 18th century when King Taksin established Thonburi as the capital of Siam after the fall of Ayutthaya. According to legend, the king arrived here at dawn, inspiring the temple’s name. Wat Arun is famous for its tall Khmer-style central prang surrounded by four smaller spires. The entire structure is decorated with colourful porcelain and ceramic fragments that sparkle in the sunlight, creating a remarkable mosaic effect. From the upper levels, visitors can enjoy beautiful views over the Chao Phraya River and Bangkok’s historic skyline. Please note : The entrance fee of THB 200 per person is NOT included and must be paid cash on the day of the tour.

We enjoyed learning about all three temples and the history and the mythology associated with each. Paula made our experience educational and also helped us get some great photos. A fun half day tour!
My sister and I had a great time with Paula, she was very informative and we learnt a lot about Thai history and culture. We really recommend.
Paula was very great and charming and made the overall tour very pleasant. She’s very knowledgeable about all the temples and the history and we learned a lot.

Beautiful tour with our exceptionally friendly host Paula.
Paula was an engaging and knowledgeable tour guide. She gave us extensive information in a way that was informative and entertaining. She had tons of energy and was fun to be with. Highly recommend Paula!
Paula was the best guide! She taught us the history, culture, and religion. We had a great time and would recommend her and the temple tour for everyone visiting Thailand.
Very interesting tour. My family enjoyed the history and experience of the temples. Paula was an excellent guide!
The experience pula gave was amazing keep up doing the good work
My tour guide was Paula, who gave one of the best tours I have ever had. She has really studied Thai history and the history of the temples we visited. Her English is excellent and she has a great sense of humor. She gave a lot of helpful information on getting around Bangkok. I would highly recommend this tour, with Paula as a guide.
Our tour guide Paula was great!!! She was very knowledgeable and fun! We learned a lot about Thai culture and she is an excellent photo taker!
Paula was amazing. Such a great job and very knowledgeable about everything.
Great tour of the Grand Palace and temples! The guide, Ken, was excellent and gave us many indications and information about the palace, its history, the kings and royal family, and many details of the Buddhist temples. In the current heat, the trip was well planned to include from time to time a few minutes of rest in the shade. Overall an unforgettable experience.
Paula was amazing! Fun, friendly, and knowledgeable
Loved all the temples and the tour guide was amazing
Very bad! Tour guide did not show up at all at the designated meeting area. I waited for another 20 minutes, but still, no one showed up. My vacation was ruined. Terrible!
We enjoyed the tour through Wat Pho an Wat Aran very much, because we got profound information about the meaning of every detail we otherwise would just have seen as a mere piece of art! It is much better to visit the temples with a tour guide! He was very kind, helligkeit and funny!
Our guide was very knowledgeable, funny and kind He gave us a lot of information, and was very patient We would recommend him and the trip for everyone visiting bangkok
Can’t hear anything. Really no information were provided. Better just ask chatgpt to make and a guide. Just simple show us where the train station and how to cross the river — that’s it.
Had a great time exploring Wat Arun and Wat Pho. Our tour guide, Sunday, was fantastic. He had great information to share and just enough balance btwn to let us explore on our own. Great way to see these 2 amazing temples in Bangkok
Our guide was lovely with a lot of insights to thai culture and religion - we were the only ones on this Tour so he started at the other Temple because this was more convenient for us. Thank you so much!
Of course the majestic temples are amazing. My guide was very informative energetic and made sure that I took nice pictures and have a great experience. Very caring
Amazing tour with the guide One. She’s so sweet and knows everything about every temple. I would recommend this tour 100%, learned a lot today. Thanks.
I didn't meet the guide no further assistance offered terrible we were there an hr early waited no one send us details who is the person what is the best to recognise him no exact details for us to know. So disappointed and asked for a refund no refund. I would not recommend this better just do your own tour no need tour guide ripped off money and no help.
Paul is the best tour guide I've ever met! Not only is he very knowledgeable, the best and most precious part is his energy and passion for being a tour guide - You will be inspired by him when he introduces Thailand's history and Thai Buddhist culture. On top of this, he is a very thoughtful and considerate guide so you will feel at ease walking with him even if you are on a solo trip. A Tour you should not miss!!
I was the only person on this tour so I had a one-on-one experience with the guide. Paul was very knowledgeable and experienced. It was an excellent tour and I learned and saw so much more than I would have visiting the temples without a guide.
Mrs Surin was a wonderful guide with lots of energy and information. She kept us going despite the intense heat of the day. She was kind , thoughtful, and resourceful. Thank you for a lovely afternoon Mrs Surin!
Visite intimiste par le nombre du groupe, Niki est une excellente guide. Nous avons pris le temps de voir tout ce que nous voulions
There never showed up a guide, so it wasn't worth the money. So I want my money back. Thanks. Mm. Thomas bech
