The 3-in-1 Chob Tour Tuk Tuk + Boat + Food Tasting

Our experience on our CHOB Tuk Tuk tour with a canal ride and food tasting was wonderful. Ms. Joy, our tour guide, exceeded our expectations and was so kind and excited to show us Bangkok that her enthusiasm made the whole experience more fun. The highlights for us had to be feeding the catfish on the canal tour, getting to see so many beautiful temples from the water, wandering the local flower market and then trying delicious local food. That was all before getting to ride on the Tuk Tuk that was driven by a safe and polite driver. Everything about the tour helped us experience the lively and welcoming city and because we only we're staying in Bangkok for two nights, this tour gave us the ability to experience much in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Bangkok.

My husband and I only had a short amount of time to visit Bangkok, and this tour was the perfect way to do that. Our guide Joy was wonderful and provided so much knowledge and insight into the city and Thai culture.

Our tour guide Joy was absolutely amazing! She was very knowledgeable and passionate about Bangkok and its history. Lots of great sites seen on boat ride and Tuk Tuk. She gave us the option to skip out on additional walking due to extreme heat and begin our Tuk Tuk ride early. She let us try awesome street food variety which was enough for a meal and gave us very memorable treats along the way. Highly recommend her tour!!

This was such a fun tour! You get to go on a longboat ride, tuk tuk, and have a food tour all in one. Our tour guide Ms Nutty was really knowledgeable of the history and recommendations. Glad we started our first day in Bangkok with this to get a run of the land before being on our own. Highly recommend!

Ms Joy was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Absolute MUST do tour if visiting Bangkok from out of the country. So accommodating, patient, and thoughtful.

The tour from the start was very nice, Ms Joy picked us up and we going straight away. She gladly answered any questions we had about our surroundings and in general was really responsive and was interested in everything. If you wanted to something that was in the tour or had questions about literally anything she would do her best to help. We loved her and her energy🙏🏻The boat tour was very fun, you get to see a lot of temples, feed fishes and learn about the culture about a bit. The food tour was really nice too, we got to go to a market and have some very yummy street food. The tuk tuk tour was quite fun aswell. We got to drive around the city with a speaker and music playing, stopping at different locations and learning about what the statues and temples are for. All together I really enjoyed the experience and I got to learn a lot about the city of Bangkok, and if you’re planning on getting a tour I strongly recommend Ms Joy. :)

Absolutely worth it! Every second of the tour felt like I was looking at a beautiful photo. Bangkok is gorgeous and so vibrant, having Joy as our guide was just the cherry on top! She treated us like we were her own, we had great laughs and experienced amazing food! Couldn’t recommend this service more, and Joy was the best tour guide. ;)

Miss Joy, our tour guide in Bangkok, was absolutely fantastic! She expertly navigated us through the city streets, food markets, and canals, ensuring we experienced the best of Bangkok. We sampled delicious local snacks from street vendors and market stalls. We even tried our hand at folding lotus petals after touring through an impressive flower market. The long-tail boat ride gave us a unique perspective of the city's waterways, while the Tuk Tuk ride added a fun, authentic touch to our tour. Her knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm made our tour truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful 4 day tour with Andy! The price was extremely fair and the service was wonderful! We saw all the highlights and some local smaller spots that we would have not seen without our guide. Andy spoke excellent English! We went at our pace and cut out certain things and added others which he easily accommodated. I would highly recommend Andy!

Joy was amazing and her fantastic knowledge of Thailand and positive personality was what made this tour so brilliant. She gave us a real insight into Thai culture that we couldn’t have gotten elsewhere. Everything about this tour from booking, to finish was amazing. Communication from our guide was brilliant. We took a trip down the canals, visited local flower markets and food markets and ate the BEST food. We seen areas of Bangkok that we would never have seen if we had not taken this tour. Words cannot describe how happy we were with this tour especially our guide, Joy. She took us to the hidden spots that we wouldn’t have known about on our own. She took care of us every step of the way- with food orders, transportation, accommodations, etc. We learned about history, culture, food, and everyday thai life. She answered all of our questions and made us feel special. More importantly you could tell how much JOY she has for her job and her country. This tour is a great intro and taster of what Bangkok has to offer. We had Joy as our tour guide, and she was very friendly and knowledgable. We had such a great time with her and I can’t recommend this tour with her highly enough. We were frankly a bit disappointed going around Bangkok by ourselves, so to have someone who is knowledgable about the food and culture of Thailand was a real treat.

My friends and I toured Bangkok with Joy, and though our trip was short, we felt like we experienced a lot of it thanks to her. We aren’t exactly the nightclubbing type and just wanted to try some Thai food and see what the culture was like, and this tour was perfect for that. Not only did Joy have us try over a dozen different kinds of Thai dishes (fried chicken, fruit, coconut pancakes, congee, mango sticky rice, etc.), but she also had us interacting with some of the locals (e.g., we were taught how to prepare lotus flowers for display). We also got to see many temples and statues from afar, both by boat and by tuk tuk. We fed the catfish in the canals, we learned a bit of Thai, and we learned so much about Thai culture and history. I cannot recommend this tour enough. My only regret is that we didn’t do it earlier in the trip because Joy recommended even more spots to visit that we never had time for. If you decide to do the morning tour like we did, make sure to leave your stomachs empty - I promise they will be filled!

We went with the CHOB Tuk Tuk + Canal + Food Tasting tour, and Joy was our guide. This tour exceeded expectations! Joy was very friendly and hospitable. She was very knowledgeable and was more than happy to answer any questions that we may have had regarding Thai & Bangkok food, history, cultures, and traditions. The food provided was very tasty and was a wide variety of different foods. As well, the canal & tuk tuk portion was very insightful to see the different parts of Bangkok. Joy also took us through different markets selling different things throughout Bangkok. This tour was very good at covering a lot of what Bangkok has offer in 4 hours. This tour was the highlight of our trip and we would recommend to anyone visiting Bangkok to do this tour. Just make sure to come with an empty stomach and an open mind! 10/10 😁

We cannot fully express how wonderful this tour was. Joy was, to say the least, a JOY! It was great to have a private tour guide for the three of us as she was able to cater to our interests and tailor the day to our various capabilities (we had my mum in her 70s, me in my 40s and an eight year old child). A highlight for us was definitely the longtail boat, feeding the catfish and spotting water monitors along the banks of the canals. We sampled food we otherwise would never have tried, and (because it was just the three of us) we were able to detour into stores that weren't on our itinerary but had sparked our interest. We cannot speak highly enough of Joy; she was knowledgeable, patient, funny and kind. And her love and pride for Bangkok is apparent in everything she says and does. And she even rocked up with homemade treats (thanks to her sister) which were delicious! We highly recommend this tour (and Joy if you are lucky enough to be assigned her). If we're ever in Bangkok again we will be seeking her out for further tours!

We absolutely loved this Tuk Tuk tour our first night in Bangkok! It was a great way to see major hot spots and our guide, Alex, was awesome! He provided so much great information about the city, tourism, food and top places to visit. We were three ladies and Alex made sure we felt safe while having a great time! I highly recommend this experience. The best part - Alex took photos for us all night and sent them the next morning ❤️

We took the night Tuk Tuk tour with Andy and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Andy was very knowledgable about the history of Bangkok and the areas we visited. We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel. The Tuk Tuk driver was great, felt relaxed and comfortable in the Tuk Tuk which isn’t always the case. The tour was varied and it included eating street food in Chinatown, which we wouldn’t have tried otherwise, stopping off at various temples, a rooftop bar overlooking the river and Wat Arun and finishing off with a taste of the nightlife at Khao San. It was great to see the different sides of Bangkok. Only downside was my wife didn’t enjoy the choices of street food and, although there was an alternative for one of the dishes tried, there wasn’t for the others. Highlight was the rooftop bar, great location, wish we had known about it earlier in our stay as we would have made a separate visit to it. Overall a great experience and thanks to Andy for his knowledge and relaxing manner, certainly added to our experience.

Travelled to Bangkok in Aug 2023 my daughter and myself. We meant to do this review awhile ago but loved our time and tour with Andy. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and showed us the best Bangkok had to offer! We spent time in Tuktuks, boats and walking. He answered all our questions and was suggestions and flexible with our itinerary. He also filled in last minute (over a holiday weekend!!) when one of our tourgides dropped out unexpectedly. We would be happy to tour again with Andy any time.

Andy was wonderful, modifying our tour to suit my wife's relative lack of mobility presently. Communication is via WhatsApp, so make sure you've got that loaded on your phone ahead of time. Finding the pickup location was easy; he supplied maps & photos. On our return, since our hotel wasn't too far away from the start/finish of the tour, we were dropped off right at the hotel. Alex was our tour guide and he was awesome, very informative and took us to many great places. Saw so much of Bangkok at night that we would not have seen otherwise. The Tuk Tuk drivers were fantastic and were always there when it was time for the next place. Great tour highly recommend.

The guide was fantastic and made it a really enjoyable evening. It was great to learn more about Thailand from English speaking guide. The tuk tuk was a fun way to see some of the city & we had a great driver. The sightseeing was beautiful, especially evening drink overlooking Wat Arun and the beautiful smell at the flower market.

We did this tour last night. I highly recommend this company and our guide Nutty. From the day we booked Nutty was in touch via WA giving advice and recommendations on everthing from money changers and SIMs to which dinner cruises are best. By the time we arrived it felt like meeting a friend for the evening. It is not a cheap tour but I chose this over the group tuk tuk tours as I have a bad back and I was worried about keeping up with the walking. With a private tour we could do as much or as little as I was able. As it happened after 2 days of airports and a day walking around KL, I was in a lot of pain last night but Nutty was super accommodating, making sure we saw as much as possible with my limited mobility. The trip includes pick up and drop off to your hotel, all the food you try. Nutty kept offering us more options but after satay and crispy pork we were pretty full. We live in Indonesia so street food is not a novelty for us. Ice cream marshmallows are though, so we had to try them for dessert. A mocktail at a rooftop bar is also included, we opted for one opposite Wat Arun, so I would not have to climb any stairs. Nutty also took loads of photos for us and carries a spotlight to help you get nice bright shots! Don't hesitate. This is a great personalised tour to book!

This tour is absolutely unmissable! Such a phenomenal time with our amazing tour guide Andy. We ate the most delicious food that we never would have found otherwise. We went to all of the greatest popular streets, and some super awesome local hidden spots that were mind blowing. Not only was it amazing food and company but we learnt so much about Thailand and its history and culture. We were recommended this tour by a friend and I'm so glad we did it! Id recommend it to everyone! So special! Absolute highlight of our time in Bangkok!

This was fantastic tour, principally thanks to our amazing tour guide, Nutty. She went over and above to make sure we got the most out of the tour and she tried very hard to tailor everything to our preferences. The tour itself is interesting and a great way to see the sights but Nutty (and our driver) really did make it one of the best nights we've had so far in Bangkok.

We did the private tour with Andy, we were a family of 4, with two 10 year olds. Firstly it was no problem to move the tour an hour earlier to accommodate the kids, then two tuk tuks arrived, which just made the tour so much more comfortable, at no extra cost. The tour itself was like Bangkok, non-stop from beginning to end. Great food and stops, all culminating at cocktails over looking Wat Arun, an amazing evening.

We had a great time exploring Bangkok at night. The rooftop bar was very special and the tour offers very local experiences. The only thing not great was that the tuk tuk was hard for my tall husband to get in and out of! No step up and low roof for tall people

This is an excellent our to experience Bangkok by night, enjoying both beautiful sights as well as buzzing street markets and tasting the incredible Thai street food in a safe environment. Friendly and very knowledgeable guide Ankit made us feel welcome and relaxed.

We had a great tuk tuk tour in Bangkok with Mr. Alex. We have been to Bangkok several time but this is the first time we had actually seen Bangkok. The tour started @Bangkok City Pillar Shrine, after that we went to China Town. After having a delicious meal and drinks we were ready to see more of Bangkok. We also made a stop at the flower market, Khao san road, beautiful rooftop sightseeiing. We ended our tour in a night market nearby Unilever Building new Jodd Fairs. I can tell you a lots more but you're going to have to see that with your own eyes:)

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child) went on a private Bangkok Tuk Tuk Tour by night and it was so much fun. Alex our tour guy was AMAZING! He was very knowledgeable, engaging, friendly and funny. Our son particularly took a liking to Alex and spent the whole time joking around with him. Alex was really patient in teaching our son basic Thai during the Tuk Tuk rides between destinations. Bangkok by night is buzzing and energetic, and the best way to see all the main sites is by definitely by a Tuk Tuk. Alex and two Tuk Tuk drivers picked us up from our hotel around 6pm. I was a bit worried being in a Tuk Tuk - Bangkok traffic is chaotic and dicey - but after a while I relaxed. The craziness was part of the fun! Our tour began at Chinatown. We visited a local temple, ate delicious street food for snacks/dinner and some family members sampled fried bamboo worms and crickets (my daughter and I chickened out). This was followed by a quick stop at the 24 hour flower market, and then an outside walk around Wat Pho (The Temple of The Reclining Buddha). Following the walk we had a drink at a Rooftop Bar that was directly opposite of Wat Arun. Both temples looked gorgeous at night, it has a completely different vibe to daytime. Rounding up the tour was a stop outside the Royal Grand Palace & The Royal Temple, then a walk down Khao San Road (Backpacker HUB). The latter was pumping, with loud music blaring from the pubs and the crowds partying. The tour ended around 1030pm and our family was dropped back at our hotel. I 100% recommend this tour and ask for Alex if you can! He was awesome. He took photos on his mobile phone throughout the night and he sent it all to us the next day. He even made a slideshow for us. We loved it. Thank you Alex for a memorable night.

Incredible private tuk Tuk tour! My husband and I had one night in Bangkok and we opted for this tour based on reviews. We covered a ton of ground in 3-4 hours and our tour guide Alex was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and easy to be around. He easily adjusted plans for what we wanted to see and we feel like we got the perfect dose of Bangkok before heading to Chiang Mai. THANK YOU Alex and your incredible Tuk Tuk driver 🙏🏼
