I thought the railway market would be the only highlight, but I actually liked both places. The floating market was fun for browsing and trying snacks from the boats. Nate was relaxed and gave us useful suggestions without talking nonstop. That suited us perfectly.

Tip was the kind of guide you feel comfortable asking anything. She knew where to go, what to try and when the train was coming. I especially liked the little food stops at the floating market. We came back with lots of photos and a very good memory of the morning.

We bought some fresh fruit from the boats on the river which was really cool. The coconut ice cream was so good too! Paula was super sweet and showed us all the best spots.

Seeing the train come right through the market was even better than I expected. We got a great spot for photos and Audrey knew exactly when the train was coming, so we didn’t miss anything. After that we went to the floating market, took the boat through the canals and had time to look at the food and little shops along the way. Getting picked up right from our hotel in a cool and comfortable car made everything so easy. The most amazing part was seeing all the shop sellers fold their umbrellas away right before the train came past! We also enjoyed the peaceful private boat ride and the tasty coconut ice cream. Everything was so easy and fun with Kay helping us all day!
