Ice was sharp, punctual, and knew the markets inside out. He navigated us through the crowded train tracks smoothly and snatched some awesome action photos of us as the train approached. The longtail boat ride was a total breeze. Ice is very easygoing and made the day great!

Henry made our Maeklong Railway Market + floating market tour an absolute blast. He's super knowledgeable — had great stories and context about both spots that you'd never get just wandering around on your own — but what really made the day was his sense of humor. He kept things light and fun the whole time, cracking jokes between stops and just making the whole group feel comfortable. Seeing the vendors pack up their stalls in seconds as the train rolls through Maeklong was wild, and Henry's commentary made it even better. Then cruising through the floating market with him pointing out all the good food stalls was a highlight too. Our driver, Mr. Noom, also deserves a shoutout — smooth, careful driving the whole way, and little touches like cold towels made a real difference on a hot day. Great team effort all around. If you're booking this tour, definitely request Henry — great guide, great vibes, highly recommend!

Firstly, Henry was the best tour guide for this tour. His humour, knowledge and experience was outstanding. The driver Non (apologies if spelt wrong) was a safe and reliable driver. Highly recommend this tour as we experienced different sides of Thailand including the famous railway markets and floating markets + delicious lunch. Enjoyed the temples at palace area. Then 1 1/2 hour drive to floating market. touristy but loved it. friends bought smoothies from vendors on the water. good pad thai for lunch. less than $2 usd. train market was great, watching awnings and product pulled in as train approached. vendors had sandals, pashminas, fruit etc at inexpensive prices. train market was also touristy but in my opinion, not to be missed

We had a wonderful tour with Poppy! She was great with taking us through the train market and floating market. She made sure our daughter was taken care of and let us know not to overpay at certain locations. She pre arranged special treats throughout the trip, such as coconut ice cream, feeding fish, mango sticky rice and more. She was accommodating in starting the tour earlier for us last minute and truly appreciate her care.

Peter was amazing, very knowledgeable and kind. He was the perfect guide. NokNok organised everything and we were able to book a second trip the day after as the first one was so good. The Floating Market and Railway Market in Bangkok were two of the highlights of my trip to Thailand. As soon as the train passed, everything returned to normal within seconds. It was fascinating to witness and definitely a must-see if you’re visiting Bangkok. I recommend going early in the morning to avoid the biggest crowds and the midday heat. Bring cash, wear comfortable shoes, and don’t be afraid to try the local food. Overall, this was a unique and memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bangkok. It perfectly combines culture, food, shopping, and sightseeing into one amazing day.

This tour is a wonderful opportunity to experience personally and close-up. The everyday culture of the Bangkok lifestyle. My guide was Belle, I called her Belle the ball, and she was perfect in every respect. She knew exactly what time where and how we should engage the markets and the transportation, the boats, the food, vendors, and all. We were always on time or a little ahead of schedule. Our comments and advice were always fun and write on target and reflected accurately. The Thai outlook on life. There since of you ever made the day fun and her advisory comments on the culture and the reason for things the way they are in Thailand. We’re always accurate and insightful. She instilled a good deal of respect in me for the the Thai people and the way they live; lots of smiles and kindness, people are always upbeat and very kind and they go out of the way to make us outsiders, feel comfortable. Bill also has a unique knack of making. You feel very comfortable in a setting that you’ve never been in before. I can only give her five stars, but I would give her the maximum no matter what the number was and if I get back to the area, I will work to get her as my guide again and again. She was very thoughtful and kind regarding my slower pace now that I’m in my late 70s. She also made sure that we took our time getting in and out of transportation modes so that slipping or falling was not going to happen. I love her quick wet and kind humor. She has a deep appreciation of her culture in history and is anxious to share that with every to remember. We were very punctual. We were ahead of schedule so in the train came when we were in position to get the best view of the activity possible. The timing on breaks and walks was at the right pace. She knew where the good food and coffee was and she saw that I took my time and we rested at the right frequency. The pace was just right. I highly recommend Bill as your guide

Som was very sweet and knowledgeable about the markets, helpfully guiding me through all the different parts and demonstrating great deal of knowledge about Thailand and the beauty this country has to offer. She was also accommodating to my Jellycat corgi companion Betty, always offering to take photos of me with Betty in front of the various stops including the railway and floating markets. Poppy was an excellent tour guide. She took really good care of us, reserving a table to see the train in the first row and taking so many great pictures. She also provided great advise about the best places to buy souvenirs and getting the best price. During the train market and the floating market she offered several amazing drinks and delicious coconut ice cream to keep us fresh. We felt really protected during the whole tour. She even secured some boxing tickets for the next day. She was really an amazing guide.

10/10, highly recommend a tour with Poppy. She went above and beyond when my partner and I booked a floating market and train market tour. Poppy got us a VIP table to see the train come in and gave us great suggestions for authentic Thai food. She also took us to a different street where locals buy food and treats and bought us things that were a must try. Poppy is super friendly, loves her job and you can tell she is there to truly make your experience amazing.

This was a great trip outside of the city to see the train market and floating markets (think car, train, boat). Our guide Athens was very engaging and friendly throughout the trip. The train market was cool because of all the different stalls selling any and everything, but was fun to see how they folded up as the train approached. We are boat people and was fun to see the Thai version of an outboard motor on these speed boats. The market was interesting as we passed through and had vendors pull us to the with a hook. Over all it was a good change of pace into the country side outside of Bangkok

Both the train market and the floating market were amazing. Our guide, Surin was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in every way she could be. She even carried our purchases for us. She provided samples of the local foods as well. She truly made for a nice day and we highly recommend her.

Wow! What an experience. Its gnarly, crowded and hot but that's the authentic experience. If you want something less then don't bother, this is the real deal. We took the Private Tour Option and we weren't dissappointed. Nath and our driver - "No. 1" - gave us the best possible experience of the the Train Market and Floating Market that a group tour couldn't possibly match. And all in the comnfort of your own Private air conditioned car!!. Nate was exceptional at telling of the history of Bangkok, how these markets originated and how they maintain their existence in an increasingly modern world that made this excursion special. Plus it was the little touches, moving to the back of a stall and being given, fresh fried banana, making sure that we got the best deal at a market stall, theres plenty more but I don't want so spoil it for you! And you can't beat sitting canal side, with the delight that is the Sticky Rice and Mango, on the quiet side of the canal watching the hustle and bustle of the other side...its a treasure.
