Nate was super cool and easy to talk to. He got us front row spots to watch the train roll right through the market stalls, which was such an unforgettable experience. The floating market boat ride was awesome too. It was peaceful, fun, and a great way to see local life up close. Nate made the whole day smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free, and he always made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. Thanks, Nate, for an amazing day and wonderful memories in Thailand!

Itinerary
Visit the famous Maeklong Railway Market, one of the most unique markets in Thailand. Here, you will witness the incredible moment when the train passes directly through the market. As the train approaches the station, local vendors quickly pull back their umbrellas, fold their awnings, and move their goods away from the railway tracks to clear the path. Once the train has passed, everything is set up again within seconds, and the market returns to its lively atmosphere. At the market, you will find a wide variety of products including fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, local snacks, and many inexpensive souvenirs. It is also a great place to observe the daily life of local people as they sell fresh produce and goods in this bustling traditional market. Don’t forget to take photos of this amazing and unique experience.
After visiting the famous Maeklong Railway Market, continue the journey with a short 20-minute drive to the original floating market of Thailand, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. At the floating market, enjoy tasting a variety of delicious Thai desserts and local foods recommended by your guide. Experience the vibrant atmosphere as local vendors sell their goods from boats along the canal. Take your time to explore, shop for souvenirs, and capture memorable photos of this unique Thai cultural scene.

Annie showed us the best market stalls for souvenirs and fresh fruits like longan and mangosteen. The train coming through the market was unbelievable to see up close. Thanks Annie!
NocNoc Travel and Tours has been a wonderful tour company! This was one of the best and most organized tours we’ve experienced. The markets were fascinating and brilliantly paced. We had a wonderful time and a wonderful guide and driver. Highly recommend.
Excellent tour. Well worth the money. We do a private tour and it was well worth the money. Hotel pick up in comfortable air conditioned car. Great guide, informative and funny but not pushy. The train was great but the boat was the highlight. Fantasic. Highly recommend
Excellent tour, our guide organized the best timings and viewing points for the railway market, we could experience it both on the train and again from the markets - amazing! Also, he knew secret spots along the way on the floating tour. Drive r was extremely friendly and courteous too. Overall, a once in a lifetime experience we'll never forget. Highly recommended!
Amazing day with tour guide Som We had such a great experience Som was extremely professional and knowledgeable answering all our questions She demonstrated great insight into Thailand history and geography and continually informed us along the way about the next experience Som was exceptional tour guide provided us with great respect and always looking out for our safety and well being Tour driver was extremely professional , courteous and a great driver Thanks for an amazing experience Som
So many smells, colors, and sounds! The railway market is a photographer’s dream. Kay was very patient with us while we took a million photos. The boat ride at the floating market was a nice way to end the tour.
The railway market was interesting, but I personally loved being on the water. Bee was great and navigated us through the busy floating market with ease. It’s such a wonderful place to just sit and watch the world go by.
I was impressed by the teamwork between our guide Kay and the driver. As soon as we finished at the railway market, the van was right there, already cooled down with the AC running. They really stay on top of the timing so you don't miss the train. Great job!
Guide Som was excellent and very professional throughout the day . Her attention to detail was excellent. Well organised to avoid the crowds. New the locals and who to meet which I find very useful to make a tour very useful.
Not too long, not too short. We saw the train, ate some great food, and enjoyed the boat ride. Annie was a fantastic host. If you're in Bangkok for a few days, definitely book this.
The railway market is literally buzzing with energy. So much fresh fruit and food everywhere. Tina was great at showing us the best spots for photos without being in the way of the train. The boat ride later was the perfect way to cool down.
We’ve done a lot of private tours, but Bee is on another level. Her timing is impeccable. We arrived at the Railway Market just 10 minutes before the train, so we didn't have to melt in the sun waiting. Then, she whisked us away to the Floating Market before the massive tour buses arrived. The private boat ride was the highlight navigating through the 'traffic jams' of wooden boats was such a unique experience. Bee is very professional and sharp, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. She’s the one you want if you hate wasting time or being stuck in crowds.
Angie is a fantastic tour guide. The whole experience was incredible. Very punctual for pick up and tour full of information, culture and fun experiences. She is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of tips on our trip… I really enjoyed and recommend this tour, one of the best days in Bangkok
May was a total sweetheart! She made our visit to the markets so special. At the Railway Market, she made sure we were perfectly positioned to see the famous folding umbrellas action it was mind-blowing to watch the train pass so closely. Then we moved on to the Floating Market, which was incredibly picturesque. The long-tail boat ride through the narrow canals was everything I imagined Thailand to be, with lively boats selling local food, and an energetic atmosphere all around. May took so many great photos of our group, and we loved every minute of the experience!
Tina was my guide and she was so informative. I learned so much about how the locals live along the canals. It was fan, eye-opening day trip full of energy, color, and local charm.
Bee was my guide for the day and she was amazing. She knows everyone at the market! It felt like walking around with a local celebrity. Very authentic experience.
Tina was our guide today and she was a joy! The way she navigated the crowded markets for us was impressive. NocNoc Tour really provides a high-quality service. Stress-free and fun!
May was our guide and she was wonderful with our daughters. She showed us all the different tropical fruits and even bought some for us to taste. Such a thoughtful touch!
Tina is such an amazing tour. The railway market was really fun to walk around, but honestly, the food at the floating market was the real highlight of the day. There were so many things to try that it was hard to choose, so we ended up tasting a bit of everything local snacks, fresh exotic fruits, and of course the coconut ice cream served in a coconut shell, which was absolutely perfect. What I loved most was how Tina knew all the little hidden spots. She took us to some “secret” snacks we would’ve never found on our own, and every stop was worth it. Nothing felt rushed, just good food and a great atmosphere.
My husband and I had the best time with Annie. As a licensed guide, her English was perfect and she explained so much about the history of the canal way of life. She pointed out all the best seasonal fruits at the railway market we ended up buying some of the freshest mangoes and mangosteen I’ve ever tasted. The private boat at the floating market was great because we could go at our own pace without being crowded. Thanks, Annie, for a wonderful day!
I’ve wanted to visit this place ever since my friends back in Sweden told me it’s a 'must-see' in Thailand. Seeing that train literally brush past the fruit baskets was absolute madness! Our guide, Kay, was a total legend. She made sure we got the best spot for the 'gram and even treated us to some Mango Sticky Rice that was out of this world.
So glad we chose the private option. We saw the big tour buses arriving and they looked so cramped. We had a lovely private car and our guide, May, was just delightful. She was so patient while we browsed the souvenir stalls and never made us feel rushed. The 'motor boat' experience at the floating market was a blast, and May even surprised us with some delicious coconut ice cream. It was the perfect introduction to Thailand outside of the main city center.
Tina took us to Damnoen Saduak and it was so amazing! The canals are filled with wooden boats and bright umbrellas. We ate delicious mango sticky rice right on the boat while drifting past stalls.
The boat ride at the floating market was the highlight. Kay got us some mango sticky rice to eat while we watched the merchants paddle by with their colorful products. It felt so authentic!
Poppy guided us through the floating chaos perfectly. The vibrant colors of the fruits and the paintings for sale are a photographer's dream. It's busy, it's loud, and it's absolutely beautiful.
The van was ice cold (thank god!) and our driver was so smooth, I actually napped on the way back. Annie was our guide and she was so sweet. She helped us haggle for some elephant pants and silk scarves at the market. Felt like traveling with a friend.
Cheers to Tina for showing us around. The train market is actually exciting. At the floating market, Tina treated us with coconut ice-cream and mango sticky rice to enjoy on the boat, which was a nice touch.
Tina is very kind guide. She help us buy food at market. Train market is so cool! I never see something like this before. The floating market have many things to see. The car is very good, soft seats and cold air. Very recommend.
Poppy is so much energy! She took us to the best food stalls. The floating market is mental boats clashing and people shouting, loved every minute. The private van was luxury. It was a perfect day for us!! Thank you Poppy.
This tour was the highlight of our trip! The Railway Market is so unique, and the Floating Market is beautiful. We really enjoyed the boat ride. Tina is a fantastic guide with a lot of energy. She shared many local tips and made the tour very interesting. Everything felt premium and well-organized for our group of 4.
Private Railway Market and Floating Market tour with Bee is an unforgettable day. Bee is friendly, quick-thinking, and incredibly well-organized even when the crowds got intense, everything ran smoothly. At the Railway Market, I watched the train roll straight through the stalls, missing them by inches. In seconds, vendors pulled back their umbrellas and goods like a perfectly timed performance. It felt unreal, and I couldn’t stop smiling. Bee knew exactly where to stand for the best view and led me to food stalls and little corners I never would’ve discovered on my own. Next was the floating market, full of energy and color. Boats overflowed with fresh fruit, vendors calling out from every direction, and the smell of local snacks everywhere. I tried mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream both were absolutely perfect. Our driver took great care of us, and the van was clean, comfortable, and made the whole trip easy and relaxing. If you’re traveling solo and want a day full of excitement, local flavors, and unique experiences, I highly recommend going with Bee. I felt safe, well taken care of, and genuinely happy the entire day.
Our kids are still talking about the train passing by! It was so close! The floating market was a blast too. Mango sticky rice directly from a boat was a highlight for all of us. The tour was so well-paced and never felt rushed. Thank you so much to Tina
If you’re thinking about booking this, just do it. The private service is 100% worth it. You get the best spots to see the train and a private boat so you’re not squished with 20 other people. Special thanks for NocNoc Travel for the amazing tour you organized and the wonderful guide Poppy.
Huge thanks to Kay for a very smooth tour. No stress, just a perfect day of exploring. The floating market was so pretty and the train market was a total thrill.
Felt like a total VIP having our own guide and boat. Bee is so attentive and cool. The markets are fascinating and the whole day was just effortless. Highly recommend NocNoc Tour!
If you’re doing it for the gram, you need Poppy. She knows all the best spots for photos! The floating market is so colorful and aesthetic. The private boat made it feel very fancy and relaxed. Poppy is the best, we loved it!
The Thai heat is no joke, so having a private A/C car with Annie was pure bliss. The train market chaos was so cool to see, and the boat ride was super chill. Annie is a sweetheart and made sure we had cold water all day. Totally worth the splurge!
We viisited both markets with Kay and had a great time. Personally, I liked the floating market a bit more, but seeing them both is a must. The car was loaded with cold water on pickup, making the full day very comfortable. Great communication from NocNoc Tour!
Exceeded all expectations! Poppy was friendly, fun, and really knowledgeable. Visiting the Railway Market and then cruising the floating market on a private boat was a highlight of our trip. Poppy helped us try local treats like coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice delicious! Easy 5 stars for the smooth arrangements.
If you want a fun day out, book with Annie. She has the best sense of humor and kept us entertained the whole drive. The floating market was busy but interesting. Annie even surprised us with Mango Sticky Rice that was so good we almost asked for seconds! A truly memorable day with a fantastic guide.
