Katie and Tom made our Bangkok experience absolutely unforgettable. Katie was warm, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and had a real gift for making every temple, viewpoint, river experience, and local stop come alive. She struck the perfect balance between having everything beautifully organized and making the day feel relaxed, personal, and fun. Tom was equally exceptional. He was always prompt, professional, kind, and made every drive feel effortless and comfortable. He was always there to grab the door, provide cold towels and have ice cold water waiting. Together, they were the ideal team: thoughtful, attentive, flexible, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an extraordinary experience. We travel often and have had many wonderful guides, but Katie and Tom stand out among the very best. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Itinerary
Take the private boat from Tien Pier to see local houses in Bangkok that you can't see in the city. Some houses along the canal are going to collapse but people still live inside.
Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, is one of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks. Its majestic central prang, rising 67 meters high, is the tallest in the city and beautifully adorned with intricate porcelain details. Standing by the river, the temple offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere — a true masterpiece of Thai architecture that you shouldn’t miss.
Wat Pho, also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, is one of the oldest and most important temples in Bangkok. Though its exact origins remain unclear, it is believed to have stood on this sacred ground for over 300 years — even before the founding of both Thonburi and Bangkok as capital cities. This temple is home to the most stunning Reclining Buddha in Thailand — an enormous statue measuring 46 meters long and 15 meters high, completely covered in gold leaf. Its serene expression and intricate mother-of-pearl inlays on the soles of its feet are truly mesmerizing. Beyond the statue, Wat Pho is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage and boasts beautiful architecture, peaceful courtyards, and one of the largest collections of Buddha images in the country. A visit to Wat Pho is not just sightseeing — it’s a journey into Thailand’s spiritual and cultural heritage.
Pak Khlong Talat is the largest and most famous flower market in Bangkok, Thailand. Located near the Chao Phraya River and close to major landmarks such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, it is a vibrant hub for fresh flowers, fruits, and vegetables. The market is especially well known for its wide variety of flowers, including orchids, roses, marigolds, and jasmine, which are commonly used in Thai culture for offerings, decorations, and ceremonies. Visitors can also find beautifully crafted floral garlands made by local vendors. Pak Khlong Talat operates 24 hours a day, but it is most lively late at night and early in the morning, when fresh flowers arrive from different parts of the country. It is a great place to experience local life, take photos, and enjoy the colorful atmosphere of Bangkok.

We weren't sure what to expect from the canal part, but it ended up being our favorite memory! Taking photos from the colorful boat with the huge Big Buddha in the background was awesome. Paula was so friendly, relaxed, and gave us plenty of time to just enjoy the ride.
The boat ride ruled! Cruising around the canals on a longtail boat with the roof canopy felt like a mini adventure. The view of the massive Buddha from the water is crazy cool. Annie was super cool to hang out with and kept the whole morning light and fun.
Wat Pho and Wat Arun were impressive, but the longtail boat ride through the local canals stole the show for me. Breezy, scenic, and super chill. Tip was awesome and made sure we had a great time throughout the day. She was friendly, attentive, and shared interesting local insights that made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok for the first time!
This tour was not complicated, but it was very memorable. Beautiful temples, a fun boat ride, and a lovely guide. Kay was sweet and easy to talk to. She helped explain the meaning behind the places we visited and gave us time to enjoy them. The boat ride through the canals was my favorite part. It felt local and peaceful, and we got some really nice pictures.
Bangkok can feel very busy, but this tour had a surprisingly calm side to it. Tip was polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She gave us time to enjoy the temples and did not make us feel hurried. The canal boat ride was peaceful and interesting. We saw local homes, boats passing by, and a quieter side of the city. It was a lovely balance between famous landmarks and everyday Bangkok life.
We had a great day with Nate. The Reclining Buddha was impressive, the Temple of Dawn was beautiful, and the canal boat ride was fun. The car was comfortable, water was provided, and everything felt well arranged. I liked that the tour was private because we could ask questions and take photos without feeling rushed. Very happy with this experience.
Paula knew all the good angles for photos. We got great pictures at the temples and on the boat. The Temple of Dawn was beautiful with all details, and the Reclining Buddha was huge and golden. The canal ride was also very photogenic. Bright boat roof, water views, local houses, and the giant Buddha in the background. We loved it.
We have done many temple visits in Asia, but this one felt different because of the canal tour. Annie was cheerful and very good at explaining things without making it too serious. The Reclining Buddha was amazing, and the Temple of Dawn had so much detail up close. The boat ride added a fun local feeling to the day. Bangkok traffic can be a lot, so being on the water felt like a little escape.
This tour gave us a different feeling of Bangkok. Of course the temples were beautiful, but seeing the city from the canals made the day special. Kay explained how people still live along the water and pointed out little things as we passed by. The boat was colorful and fun, and the views were great. The big golden Buddha beside the canal was one of those moments where everyone suddenly reached for their camera. Kay was a great guide and made everything easy to understand.
Annie was a great guide. Friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. The temples were beautiful, the canal boat was fun, and the whole day was very comfortable. We got some amazing photos, especially near the river and at the Temple of Dawn. A simple but really memorable Bangkok tour.
One of my favorite memories from Bangkok was sitting on the boat and seeing the huge golden Buddha beside the canal. It was such a cool view. Alex was smiling because we all went quiet for a second just taking it in. The temples were also beautiful. The Reclining Buddha temple felt peaceful, and the Temple of Dawn was stunning by the river. Alex was friendly and explained the history in a way that was easy to follow.
Paula was a lovely guide and made the tour feel personal. She explained the temples in a simple and interesting way, not too much information, but enough to understand why these places are important. The Reclining Buddha temple was peaceful and beautiful inside, and the Temple of Dawn was even more impressive in person than in photos. The private boat ride through the canals was relaxing and gave us a nice look at another side of Bangkok. We really liked the mix of famous sights and quiet local scenery.
We really enjoyed this tour with Poppy. She was kind, helpful, and gave us just the right amount of information. The Reclining Buddha was impressive, but honestly the canal boat ride surprised me the most. It was calm, interesting, and very different from the busy roads of Bangkok. We passed houses on stilts, small local shops, and even saw a monitor lizard relaxing by the water. Very cool experience and great photos too.
Kay was wonderful. She had a fun personality and knew how to keep the day relaxed. The temples were beautiful, especially the Temple of Dawn with all the colorful details. The canal ride was a nice break from walking and gave us a completely different view of Bangkok. Great tour if you want temples, photos, and a bit of local life all in one day.
Our tour guide Katie was amazing!!! My husband and I were traveling with my 79 year old mother and she was great with helping her up and down stairs and generally making sure she had a good time. Katie was so knowledgeable about the history or what we were seeing too. It was a rich experience. Plus, she took a lot of pictures of us. It was like having our personal photographer! She also knows all of the good places to take pictures.
Definitely wear appropriate clothing, you cannot enter the temples otherwise. Also, it’s very hot so bring an umbrella or a hat.
Annie is a gem! She’s so patient and even helped us navigate the crowds at Wat Pho. The temple grounds are like a maze of beautiful colors and statues. The canal tour was the real standout for us there’s something so peaceful about being on the water, watching the river boats go by and seeing the contrast between the fancy temples and the humble homes on stilts. Annie made the whole experience feel seamless and special.
Traveling with a 7 and 10-year-old is a struggle, but Ken was a magician. He kept them entertained while we actually got to look at the temples. The boat ride was ""epic"" according to my son.
I’m so glad we spent the morning with Bee. She’s incredibly sweet and made sure we felt at home. Wat Pho was breathtaking the Reclining Buddha is way bigger in person than in photos, and the gold is blindingly beautiful! But the highlight? The canal tour. Jumping on that longtail boat and feeling the wind in my hair was the best escape from the Bangkok heat. Seeing the old wooden houses and the locals just living their lives by the water felt so authentic. Bee even pointed out a huge monitor lizard sunbathing on a dock!
Annie was engaging and fun during the temple visits, always sharing interesting details and small local tips. The pace of the tour felt just right, and the boat trip stood out as a peaceful and refreshing part of the day. Everything flowed smoothly and felt well planned.
Tina truly made the day enjoyable. Cruising along the canals was very pleasant, and the temples were absolutely beautiful. Lunch was optional, but staying for it turned out to be a good decision. Overall, the experience was a perfect balance between learning about the culture and relaxing.
Kay made the whole tour feel easy and fun. Super friendly, full of stories and facts you could ask him anything. We wandered through the big-name temples, then hopped on a boat to explore the winding city canals. If you want to soak up Bangkok’s highlights in just one day, this is the way to do it.
I went into this tour just hoping for a casual day, but it ended up being one of my favorites. May was cheerful and easygoing, which made everything more enjoyable. The canal ride was peaceful, the temples were impressive without being tiring, and the flower market was fun to explore. It felt spontaneous and real, not scripted at all.
Exploring Bangkok’s temples with Bee turned out to be a fantastic experience. The boat ride through the canals? Easily the best part. Bee kept things light and fun—super friendly, and made the whole day feel effortless. I’d absolutely recommend this tour.
Our private tour with Annie was fantastic! We got picked up right on time and started at Tien Pier, which was a great spot to begin our day. Visiting Wat Arun was breathtaking the architecture and riverside views were stunning. Wat Pho, with the Reclining Buddha, was equally impressive. We also stopped at Flower Market, which was vibrant and colorful. Annie was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole tour smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Tina had this laid-back vibe that just made everything feel easy. The temples felt peaceful and beautiful, and drifting along the canal was so calming you almost forgot time was passing. The flower market buzzed with energy, but it never got too crowded or hectic. Honestly, it all just worked the right mix of exploring and taking it slow, nothing rushed, nothing forced.
The temples were cool, the boat ride was chill, Eva made the day fun without being over the top. and the flower market was chaotic in the best way. I accidentally took too many photos,Eva joked about it. Really relaxed, lots of laughs, and no one cared about being perfect.
5 star all the way. Poppy made our half day tour so fun! The temples are beautiful and the canal tour is a must do.
This is a must do tour when in Bangkok! Poppy is a wonderful guide and made our half day tour so much fun! The temples are beautiful and the canal ride is worth it. You get to see so much during this tour. 5 stars all the way.
We had a very short layover and the private tour was perfect, especially our guide Tip. I would highly recommend requesting her. She is friendly with excellent English. She customized our tour and found us a local Thai eatery to try real Thai food. It was delicious. The canal tour was interesting given the fact that we spotted water monitor lizards and kingfisher bird along the way. We also went to see Wat Pho when they first opened in the morning without all the other tourist. The tour ended with drop off at the airport making this most efficient way to see Bangkok quickly.
So, I rocked up to this tour, kinda nervous, But Alex made it a breeze. We cruised down the canals chill vibes, you could almost forget the world existed. Those temples Wild. Like, jaw-dropping, kinda thing. Alex had jokes, kept an eye out for me, and made me feel like I was with friends instead of flying solo. If you’re rolling solo and want a mash-up of cool sights, local flavor, and some peace This is the move. No notes, just good times.ค
Our tour guide Tina was super sweet and caring. She made sure everyone felt comfortable. She gave us such a warm vibe and even patiently waited for members of our group who were running late. The canal tour itself was very cool and relaxing, a perfect way to see another side of Bangkok. We absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting and looking for a unique experience!
We had a really nice canal tour with Poppy. She was so friendly and made the trip enjoyable by sharing stories about the local life along the ancient river canal path. It was fascinating to see how people still live around the area in such a traditional way. By the late evening the weather got cooler, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Thanks to Poppy for making our day.
It was a pleasure to meet such a welcoming guide, Paula. Paula’s friendly nature made the experience even more enjoyable. Such hospitality truly enhances any visit. We are grateful for her accommodating and helpful attitude.
Coming to Thailand, you should not miss this tour. It was one of the highlights of my trip. I joined this tour with Angie as our guide. She was so lovely and fun. We visited temples and enjoyed a boat ride along the canals, which I really loved. Angie made everything entertaining and fun. This was my first time in Thailand, and our guide Angie left an impression on me. Thank you again for showing us such unique perspectives and places that many tourists might not normally see. I hope to meet her again on my next visit. Big thanks to Angie for guiding us through this tour and opening up so many new experiences.
Ploy was very professional and took us to several places, from the water canals to the flower market. We traveled by long-tail boat, which made the trip fun. The whole experience was chill and relaxing. Highly recommend!
It was truly amazing! This was my first time visiting Thailand with my wife, and we decided to book this tour. We had Angie as our guide, and she was very sweet, funny, and made everything enjoyable. The boat ride through the canals provided some great views, seeing the houses along the river. It might look simple, but for me it was really cool. There were so many fish in the river! The temples were beautiful, and Angie also took us to Pak Khlong Flower Market, which had so many various flowers. Of course, I had to buy some for my wife. Overall, our whole day was so much fun because of Angie, and we got to see so many things in just one day. I would recommend anyone visiting Thailand to experience this side of Bangkok. And for sure, book this tour you won’t be disappointed!
Personally, I prefer private tours over group ones, so this suited me perfectly. We were picked up at the hotel and made our way to the river. The temples were truly beautiful, and Guide Mint’s English was excellent. Pho Temple, Arun Temple, and the Flower Market each had their own unique charm and beauty.
The hotel pick-up was a lifesaver in the morning. Bee kept the schedule relaxed but still got us to all the main spots. The temple visits were beautiful, especially Wat Arun. I appreciated that bottled water was included small details make a big difference on a hot day.
Great day out ! Really enjoyed the boat trip, Wat Arun and the reclining Buddha. Happy memories. Thank you Poppy and Noc Noc
We brought our teenage kids, so we weren’t sure how long they’d stay interested, but Angie made it work. She gave just enough information to keep everyone engaged and even found a shady spot for us to rest when the heat got intense. The temples were beautiful, especially Wat Pho, and the canal ride gave us a whole different perspective of Bangkok. We all agreed the day felt balanced plenty to see, but with enough time to enjoy each stop.
Pick-up was on time, and we started with Wat Pho. The details on the Reclining Buddha are even more beautiful up close. Ploy gave us just enough history without making it feel overwhelming. The motor boat ride showed another side of Bangkok, quiet canals, locals going about their day a nice break from the traffic.
Alex was easy to talk to and knew so much about the temples. The ride between spots was comfortable, and the boat trip gave us amazing views of local life by the water. Having all the entry fees included made the day simple, no worrying about tickets or lines.
Jina was kind, attentive, and made us feel comfortable from the start. The boat ride was slow and peaceful, giving us a different view of Ayutthaya, while the temples were absolutely beautiful. The Reclining Buddha really stood out such an incredible sight. And the flower market? My wife couldn’t stop smiling. So glad we booked this tour. A truly memorable day.😊😊
Perfect day in Bangkok! Two iconic temples, a beautiful canal tour, and the friendliest guide ever Ploy made everything special. Loved every moment and would absolutely recommend this private experience.
We visited the temple early in the morning with our guide, Poppy, and it was such a peaceful and memorable start to the day. The boat ride along the river was beautiful and relaxing, and arriving at the temple by water made the experience even more special. Poppy explained the history in a way that was easy to understand and really brought the place to life. The sunlight hitting the temple spires was breathtaking, and we spent some quiet time resting in the shade, just taking it all in. So glad we did this tour!
Jina was super cheerful and made us feel welcome right away. The pace of the tour was great not rushed, and she always asked if we wanted more time at each stop. The boat ride through the canals was a highlight, and Jina shared stories that made it more memorable.
Went on this tour with a few friends and it was such a good time. Ploy was super easy to talk to and made everything smooth. We loved the boat ride calm, breezy, and felt like a local experience. The temples were beautiful and not too crowded. Great way to start the day in Bangkok.+-
