Everything was perfect!!!! Lin was awesome. She made sure my BFF and I were on the right sideof the train, tracks, boat, and just everywhere. She moved us thru the crowd like a pro. We bought some incredible pieces at the market. The whole day was a dream come true. If you want an amazing time book with this company!!!

Itinerary
The Railway Market is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! You will have fun riding a local train toward the Mae Klong station. While on this train, you will see the “Unseen-Thailand” experience. When the train signal rings up, the chaos will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stall and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all shop owners will resume their stalls again.
Visit a coconut sugar farm near Damnoen Saduak floating market. At this factory, you will learn how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the nectar into the drinkable one. This will be your eye-opening experience!
Roundtrip Transportation from Hotel to Market is total of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is among one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Motor boat rides are already included in your tour! Many Thai and foreign tourists come here to absorb the atmosphere of Thailand water markets that have been like this for over a 100 years. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle.

Both markets are a very unique experience It makes it so much easier to do with a good guide and driver
It's nice to move at your own pace and have a guide that is knowledgeable and kind. We enjoyed the train ride into the market and the longtail boat ride in the floating Market. The driver was very good as well and we enjoyed our day.
Loved it. It was such an adventure. Riding the train into the market. Shopping at the market and watching them take it down to get ready for the next train to pass by. Riding on the little boat was an awesome experience. I would do this tour again for sure. Pop was a great tour guide. Explained things and took our pics.
We had a fantastic guide, Poppy. She was very helpful and understanding, and she made our trip fun, interesting, and memorable. Our driver, Mon, was very good and careful and drove us around safely. Thank you so much, Poppy and Mon. I recommend this trip to others.
The best tour guide i could wish for. Great soul! Witchu (I hope i spell your name right), you are the best. Thanks for everything.
"Cat was an amazing tour guide! She first took us to the salt fields and showed us what they do and treated us to a local Thai snack which we never would have even heard of if it wasn't for her, but it was our favorite food from our whole trip! We then took the train to the Maeklong Outdoor market and she had the best advice for us for the best pictures. We took our time looking through the market and Cat was helping us lower prices from some of the vendors! As we left, again she showed us great Thai snacks which we loved. We then went to the coconut farm where she physically showed us all the different ways coconut is utilzed. Then we went to the floating market which was great, and finally ended with an amazing lunch before we headed back to bangkok. And throughout the entire time, Cat happily answered any and all of our questions about what we were seeing, and general questions about Thai people and Thai culture. Highly recommend Cat as a tour guide!"
Great tour! Our guide Nok Jason was awesome and was very informative. Mr Peter was our driver and also took great care of us. The boat tour as part of the railway market was the highlight. Nok also recommended good lunch options and ready enjoyed authentic thai food. 10/10 Highly recommend !
Had a wonderful tour with Nok Jason (our tour guide) and Mr Peter (our driver). They showed up on time at our hotel lobby. The car / mini van was very comfortable. They took so many photos of us, they made sure we were comfortable and customized the trip as needed. The floating market and railway markets are a must do! Highly recommend this tour agency.
The train ride was awesome. MK was great explaining various aspects of Thai life. A visit to the markets are a must.
We got to see the floating market from a boat and road on the train into a market! It becomes fast paced and busy. Being on timely and following instructions are important for your safety and to keep the tour on time.
Amazing experience with time to buy something in markets but the level of English of the guide was too low
Great half day trip. Our guide was Ice who was very organised getting us from place to place in an air conditioned car providing lots of local knowledge as we travelled around. The floating and railway markets were really good fun experiences. Pick up from hotel was on time at 9am and we were back just before 3pm. Recommended!
Poppy was amazing!! She went above and beyond with her kindness and knowledge. She was very helpful. Highly recommend Poppy and her driver with her private tours. See you next time Poppy 👍😁
We booked our private tour today and was able to go the next day. Pop was our tour guide. She went above and beyond her duty - bought local food/drink along the way so we would have a chance to taste what local people would. She arranged to have us taken a train to the railway market so we would experience both ends (on and off the train). Pop also offered to visit few other destinations that were not on the tour since we left early in the morning and the traffic was not bad. Strongly recommended !!!! Don’t forget to tip the tour guide and driver.
A “must do” if you don’t do anything else in Bangkok. This is an amazing experience to view. It’s amazing how all the merchants do this process several times per day ( pick up and move their material) We traveled from San Francisco and told many of my friends and family, and now they want to experience this.
Very prompt and thoughtful service. This was a very personal experience which was not rushed and was well thought out. Our guide was super friendly and very accommodating, our driver was thoughtful and safe. Please use this company as they are above and beyond one of the best in Bangkok.
Really recommend this tour. You travel outside of the City and go on a boat through the floating market. The train market was really good fun. Our guide made sure we got the best views and seats.
Our tour guide, Chaiya, looked after us so well. He speaks excellent English. He is very knowledgeable and informative. Blessed to have him as a tour guide.
Our tour guide Lin was really nice and made our trip enjoyable! Would defenitely book again with family
We had a great experience with a wonderful tour guide, Chaiya, that went beyond. He spoke good English and was very helpful. He even helped us bargain shopped.
Great trip. Well organised. Plenty to see and do. Pick up was bang on time too. Chaiya the guide was very helpful and full of useful information
We love this tour. Certainly the best tour and service by this tour company. The tour guide is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The vehicle is also clean and comfortable. Highly recommended
An insightful and enjoyable tour wih Lin. Have learnt much about the floating market history, and had the yummy noodle, coconut ice-cream and a local eggy coconut dessert. We also enjoyed seeing the stores closing at the railway in action, before the close brush with the train. The coconut and salt farm are a bonus, love the insights shared and the scenary of the salt farm. Thanks to Lin and the driver. Thumbs up
Very interesting and unique experience. Great tour guide making amazing photos. Not os many tourists, many shops closed but still worth visiting. We recommend it
The train market is a worthwhile experience, cruising along the canals of the floating market is also fun. Would recommend
We had a great time. I highly recommend anyone visiting Bangkok to take this tour. Our guide Lin is very knowledgeable and spends time to tell us the history of the floating and train markets etc. She also took us to amazing food boats and shops that offer local pricing (no tourist scam). Overall definitely a great way for anyone who wants to experience the local market and food.
Amazing tour! Our tour guide, Lin, was very kind and helpful and provided a lot of great information. All the destinations were eye opening and definitely worth a visit. Not too far from Bangkok and a great way to spend a morning/afternoon.
Lin was our guide and she did an amazing job showing us around. Loved the experience at the floating market and train market. Highly recommend!
Lin is great - took us to eat good food in the floating market, coconut farm, watch the train pass through the train market, and helped us find the best prices on souvenirs. Highly recommend!
A very well organised tour. Lin (the tour guide) is lovely and takes good care of her guests. The markets are not too busy at present.
The boat trip in the floating market is very interesting. It's specifically comfortable when we were moving in a breezy weather under the sun at 33°C.
Lin was an incredible tour guide who had this positive energy about her and was very funny. I had never thought to go to a salt fame Sheila in Thailand but now that I have I definitely recommend people to go. This tour is best for someone who wants to try street food and find little places you can be sure your friends have never gone. 11/10:)
Our tourguide Chaiya was very friendly and very funny! He recommended some great bars that were sure to check out for our stay! 10/10!
I’ve been on several tours in many different countries throughout my life and I can confidently say that Lin was one of, if not, the most memorable one. She was so knowledgeable about Thailand’s history and welcomed/answered all questions. What was a 1.5 hour car ride felt more like 30 minutes bc we had such great conversation with her. Lin prioritized our safety and ensured we enjoyed this experience. In her own words, “if you are happy, I am happy.” We will miss you Lin!
Lin was an awesome tour guide! Loved her bubbly and positive attitude throughout our tour. Definitely recommend to book her, you will not be disappointed.
Excellent trip and the guides know so much and inform you. Each question is answered in a very easy manner.Very relaxed also
Great experience and good guide. Tour is nice, they picked us up at the hotel on time. Friendly support team during booking of the tour. Traveled with 10 months old baby and was better the expected.
Great tour! Our tour guide Lin was very lovely and gave us a lot of background information. Due to Covid the train is only driving through the market once a day, but they are making sure to be there on time so you don’t miss this experience! Worth the money :)
Excellent day, Sorravit is a passionate and fabulous guide! Recommended!
Very well organized tour. The guide Adam and the driver very attentive and professional. The tour starts at 6:30 in the morning and the market area is about 1 hour from the city centre
Great tour, everything seen, all wishes were taken into account and we were able to gain really great impressions as a family. Also via this path a big thank you to Rattana for this wonderful and exciting day for the whole family
Punctual- reliable, we were satisfied, all good and reputable service, recommended private tour, thank you very much
Great experience with our guide Kwin speaking very good French. She is passionate about her work and gives lots of excellent information. THANK YOU for this professionalism! We started by boarding the train towards the railway market which is next to the saltworks , then visiting a sugar factory in Coco to finish with the floating market. A beautiful day of excursion.
Everything went wonderfully. Our guide Pui was very helpful and adapted the trip to our needs.
We would like to thank Richard, our tour guide. It was an unforgettable experience. Everything was included in the price. Shuttle from the hotel, tolls, train ticket, boat tour in a boat for 6 people. The boat driver was happy to stop wherever we wanted to buy something. And we ate the best spring rolls ever for 100 BHT.
Sencillamente Genial.
