Departing from one of Bangkok’s riverside hotels, we hop on a boat for our exploration of one of Bangkok’s most prized areas to observe the local life that buzzes on the Chao Phraya River. After cruising upstream, we stop at Wat Arun also known as the Temple of Dawn. This magnificent structure is a must visit attraction since its beautiful construction is adorned with brightly coloured mosaic pieces that can only be appreciated up close. Next we cross the water to head to the gleaming Grand Palace which is considered to be one of the most beautiful examples of an ancient Siamese Court. Previously the residence of royalty, there are a number of different venues to fit each occasion including the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House and the famed Emerald Buddha Temple.
