This tour takes us by car to Samut Songkram province to get a taste of authentic Thailand with a visit to Maeklong Railway Market. Considered a unique attraction in the world, stall holders sell their wares from a market built directly alongside the tracks and move their awnings and stalls as the daily trains pass by inches away. Samut Songkram is situated on the Gulf of Thailand and we board a traditional long-tail boat to explore the area’s mangrove forests and local seafood farms that provide a stable income for the locals. We round the day off with a visit to enchanting Amphawa Floating Market which is renowned for its deliciously cooked fresh seafood.
