Private Floating Market + Dragon Temple + Do Like A Local

We booked a two day tour of Bangkok during our cruise stop in Laem Chabang. Mr. Chob was very responsive and easy to work with. Our tour guide Joy, who was fluent in English, was super energetic and friendly! She really made us feel like family and made sure we didn't miss anything, giving us numerous tips and being a wonderful photographer. Our short stay in Bangkok wouldn't have been the same without her. I'd wholeheartedly recommend booking any tour from Chob if you're lucky enough to visit this wonderful city!! You won't regret it.

I can't express what a fabulous decision it was to go with a private tour guide for those areas on the outer edges of Bangkok that are not easy to reach. I was so impressed with both the excellent communication and friendliness we received from our guide. I loved that she took photos and videos for us, many times without me having to ask. She also bought local fruits for us to try. I highly, highly recommend this!! Only thing I would say is that I learned more about the history of Wat Sam Phran's founder and it really turned me off to the place knowing that he is still loved by members of that temple. Knowing that now, I would not want to visit the temple again and would not recommend it to others. This is completely independent of the amazing care we were given by our tour guide and driver. Thank you to Ms Tai and also to our driver (whom I'm so sorry I forgot his name).

We took the trip to Maeklong Railway, coconut syrup manufacture and the floating market tour with Ms Joy, just the two of us, Ms Joy and the driver. She was an excellent guide - knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for us. We had a fantastic experience and cannot recommend this company enough. I will certainly take more tours with them when I am next in Thailand. Can't wait! PS I would give more than 5 stars if I could!!

This tour was the most magical experience! It was awesome and our guide Tai (I hope I’m spelling it correctly!) was the best ever — she became a true friend we will miss! She answered all of our questions so thoughtfully and thoroughly and just really guided us through the awesome spots we saw. We really felt like we were with an insider! Everything we saw was so cool. They even had ice cold towels waiting for us when we got to the car each time which is a godsend on a crazy hot day. Can’t say enough great things… I could go on…Just book it!

We did a tour straight from the airport in the morning with Ms. Joy and Mr. Tony, and we had the most wonderful day. Joy gave had so much knowledge and did everything to tailor the trip to give us a genuine and special experience for our family to remember. 5 stars, no doubt!!

If I could zero stars, I would’ve. We are 44 minutes past our pickup and zero communication. We were on time and at the pickup spot agreed to, and confirmed, last night. Multiple calls to the tour guide and operator from myself and the Viator agent, no response. Do not recommend.

Our Guide Tai was great, she gave us lots of great info and had us try many new foods. We were able to see some great markets and of course the fun train as it moves through the market as everyone scattered. The floating market and boat ride were peaceful and wonderful. Even saw a whole bunch of Fireflies!! We had a great day our guide and driver were outstanding. A great way to escape Bangkok for a day and see what life is like in the Countryside.

Alex was super friendly, so kind and helpful. He was very knowledgeable and offered lots of great information. I loved that we stopped so many places and he got us good snacks along the way that were all included in our private tour. He was wonderful too at taking photos of us and capturing precious moments.

Everything from start to finish was extremely well organised. Ms Mee our Tour Guide was amazing, spoke perfect English and made our trip one to remember. We would high recommend this company.

We had two days of Private tours with Ms Aom. We did the city tour and the floating market. She was very sweet, fun and easy to talk to. She was also very prompt and knowledgeable on Thai history and tried to give us the best experience with each place that we went. She knew the best places to try special Thai snacks and introduced us to many Thai favorites. I would highly recommend her as a tour guide. In addition, Mr. Kai, our driver was so nice too. His van was immaculate and much nicer than we expected. Everything about our tours was great! Thank you for caring so much to make our experience so memorable.

This tour guide was recommended to me by a friend who had visited Thailand years ago. I am glad that I took her advice. Mr Chob is the way to go! Trust that you will have an amazing and memorable experience. Our guide Mrs. Aom was friendly, humorous, knowledgeable and efficient. Paired with the driver Mr Guy, they make a dream team. Upon entering the private van there were bottles of water waiting. Every stop after that we’d be greeted with replenished cold water and chilled towels to cool off from the unforgiving heat and humidity. We enjoyed every stop. They picked us up at our hotel and our first stop was the railway market. Mrs Aom gave us a tour of all the vendors then had a perfect spot for us to sit and witness the train chug through. Afterwards, we head over to a floating market. That was something to be seen! You’ve never witnessed a traffic jam until you’ve been in a boat in a market. It was incredible! We were able to sample fried bananas, coconut ice cream and whatever else caught our eye. She also helped us to bargain with the vendors selling souvenirs. This was followed by a walking tour and lunch at a food hall. Throughout the entire day she snapped pictures for us and took control of everything. The pickup and drop offs were seamless. If you want a smooth experience do not think twice. Just book it! From your first email inquiry you will see how responsive and attentive the service is.

Great tour with Joy today. She is lovely, attentive and knows so much! We visited Maeklong Railway Market, Damnern Saduak Floating Market, took a long boat ride through the canals and visited markets in Bangkok. Joe's desire to share her love for Thailand and the Thai culture is infectious. We look forward to two more full day tours with Joy

This is one of the best tours I’ve ever done. George our tour guide was so amazing, knowledge and kind. I could not say enough great things about him and the tour company. They picked us up at our hotel at 7am and went above and beyond all day. Even stopped on the road to get me a fresh coconut bc I mentioned I loved them. You MUST use them if you’re in Bangkok and want to do a tour. We did the railway market, the floating market and the palace. We had two temples to go to but we had just arrived in Bangkok the night before at midnight after traveling 24 hours and ran out of steam after the palace. George and the driver couldn’t have been more understanding and concerned. The private van was also such a plus because we just lounged in the back while they drove us around. They constantly refreshed the water and gave us nice cold towels after every stop. 10/10!!!

Our second day with Ms. Aom started early and was jam packed! First we drove to the countryside and saw a salt farm. After that we rode the train the the Railway market and saw how the local vendors quickly close up their stalls when the train comes. It was very interesting to witness this from on the train. She even got us to the last train car for a close up view of all the tourists following and filming the train! Once off the train we explored the market and did a bit of shopping for souvenirs and also saw the many foods and produce for sale. We even saw some BBQ’d frogs. Once the next train was due Ms. Aom knew where we should sit to watch the “show”. As the train approached we watched again the market stalls quickly close. I was able to stand on the tracks for a minute to film the train as it was approaching! After the Railway market we went to the Floating market and had a canal tour with many other tourists floating along with locals on boats selling their items as well as market stalls along the side. It was a chaotic and colourful tour and very interesting. After the floating market we sampled some local foods with Ms. Aom. After this long and interesting day of Thai culture we had a long drive back to the port. Ms. Aom was very knowledgeable, professional, engaging and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed this day with her and the driver Nicki was also very good. We always had cold water and refreshing wipes as it was very hot and humid. We would highly recommend Mr. Chob Thai Tour guide! Also, we appreciated how responsive Mr. Chob was to all of our emails and questions. He also provided us with some helpful cultural tips on the language, customs and bowing behaviour.

Our tour guide George was amazing! He met us at our hotel, took us on all types of transportation to get around Bangkok the quickest way. He was super knowledgeable and really informative about the big things in Bangkok as well as lots of fun facts throughout the day. We really really enjoyed this tour. Highly recommend George!

We did the trip guided by Ms Aom who was fantastic. Everything ran like clockwork and she added some really nice touches - building far more into the itinerary than we expected. Really worthwhile and rewarding day out.

We had 3 tours and transfers from and to the airport with the company. Miss Aom and miss Mee were very attending , helpful and knowledgeable. We got to see the best of Bangkok. Highly recommended for all that want to see the highlights of Bangkok.

We had a lovely first day in Bangkok with Ms Aom and our driver. To start, booking and communication were easy and streamlined. Ms Aom is delightful, informative, and flexible. The van picks you up and drops you off so you can enjoy all the sites with welcomed air conditioning and cold water between stops. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Amp and driver were great. Flexible with tour for us. Picked us up from hotel and took us to the Railway Market. Also went to floating market, flower market and a canal tour. Both very professional and knowledgeable about. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Wow!! We have had an amazing two days with Ms Aom and Mr Andy!! I have nothing negative to say...the whole experience from booking right through to the activities was top tier!! Ms Aom is very friendly, knowledgeable and has a great personality. Mr Andy made sure we got our destinations safely and the cool towels and cold waters were very much welcomed on arrival back to the van!! Ms Aom ensured that the days run smoothly and the tours (intro to Thailand and floating market/railway tour) were worth every penny!! I highly recommend this walking tour, as it provided a wonderful insight into the city of Bangkok, particularly since it was off the beaten track. We had Mr Ot as our tour guide who was very friendly and knowledgable. I really enjoyed trying some of the street food Bangkok has to offer, and tried some things I wouldn't have been comfortable trying other wise.

We had a very nice tour with Mr. Ot. He was really kind and very enthusiastic. He explained us a lot and showed us the real and not so touristic places.

The trip begins with the congested traffic from kao San where I started the tour, you arrive at a stop, where after 20 minutes a train arrives and loads us and then stops every now and then to collect other participants, after 30 minutes of travel you arrive at a dead track, greeted by a festive crowd that takes a lot of photos of us, overall, nice, then continue to the floating market, where we are 1 hour, I had lunch with Thai pad cooked on a boat and is served at a table on land, finally I ride on a boat, and then last stop at the time of the dragon (horrendous) even at the global village of Dubai you do not see certain disgraces...

Alex was an excellent guide, we toured the markets and it was an unforgettable experience. We visited the market on the Maeklong train tracks, where we had the opportunity to see live how the train passed over the tracks. Then we visited the floating market of Saduak where we could take a ride in a typical wooden boat of Thailand and lived a unique experience. Then we visit the stunning Golden Buddha and delve into Bangkok’s addictive Chinatown and its street markets. Alex gave us a taste of some typical Thai sweets and offered us a lunch that was delicious. We definitely highly recommend it.

We always take this agency during our visits to Thailand already 5 times! Never disappointed we are always offered personalized tours and that go off the beaten track and tourist flows. Our guide Joy is always listening to us and with incredible attention, we are entitled to culinary specialties. Joy and Chob love their job and it is felt they are keen to share their culture, knowledge, their love for their country.
