This tour was fantastic! Henry was the BEST tour guide! He was kind, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire experience. We encountered some unexpected flooding in the area, but Henry handled the situation seamlessly and made sure we still had a wonderful time. Manny, our driver, was equally fantastic and did an excellent job navigating the roads. We couldn’t have asked for a better team! Highly recommend this tour!

Both the railway and the floating markets were incredible, certainly something you would never see at home. Enjoyed the experience immensely. Aff was the perfect guide. She found us a terrific viewing position for the train, found something we had been looking for and bought for us the best chicken curry puff we have ever eaten for a snack, along with different fruits to try. Our tour guide Paul was fabulous. His command of English was impeccable. His knowledge of Thai history and culture was impressive. He also had a great sense of humour! He looked after us like we were VIPs . We were picked up and driven to the destinations in a very comfortable town car by our expert driver Maneesh. As for the tour, the Damnoen Saduk floating Market was interesting as the ride in the longboat offered a glimpse of the lifestyle of the locals living on the banks of the canals. I did not find the souvenirs overpriced as some people have complained. The Mae klong rail was a lot of fun! With very limited time in Bangkok, this tour provided some varied and interesting activities

We had a great time with our Quality Thai Guide on this tour and would highly recommend this activity! Everything was very well coordinated and both the railway and floating markets were very unique experiences. It was nice to leave the city and I felt like the items offered at the shop were quality made and unique. I hadn’t seen a lot of the items in the city at their markets. Every time we got back in the car they had fresh cold water and cold cloths for us, which is really nice when it’s as warm as it is outside. Our lunch was delicious and we also had coconut ice cream that was amazing. Loved everything about it.

An incredible day on The Private Excursion to the Maeklong Railway and Floating Markets. Our tour guide, Bakerie, was fantastic. Knowledgeable, punctual, reached out the day before the trip to confirm logistics and checked in with us throughout the day to make sure we were happy with the tour. The private tour was a bit more expensive but definitely worth it. We were comfortable and enjoyed the day as our own. Our driver, V, was excellent. He was safe, pleasant, and a very good driver in the crazy Bangkok traffic. I highly recommend this trip...be sure to ask for Bakerie and V, you will be glad you did.

Great experience! Bakery was very nice and well informed. Explained both attractions and took pictures of us @ both locations. I stupidly did not press record at the railroad and missed getting the entire experience on video but luckily Bakery filed it and sent me his video.

It was the perfect amount of time to spend at all locations. They were super knowledgeable and coordinated everything so well! Our guide, Ney, and driver, Mario, were fabulous. We had a great time with Aye! Pick up was seamless in a very clean and comfortable large van. Aye was very clear on our planned itinerary. We had two young kids under 10 - one was very excited to see the railway and the other to see the floating market. Aye found us the perfect viewing spots and anticipated every need. She treated us to a few local specialty snacks. We knew the floating market was very touristy but it actually exceeded expectations - we enjoyed the boat ride and seeing the fruit trees. Aye adapted the journey for our two kids who are under 10. They had lots of fun but were exhausted by noon in the heat - Age was great about getting them cold snacks to keep them happy. Great experience.

Excellent from start to finish. Great to have hotel pick up in a city we didn’t know. Catty our guide very knowledgeable and fun! Front row seats to railway market and tour on river all well organised. Loved the visit to see the coconut sugar made the traditional way. And the food! Tasting delicious local delicacies - too much but yum. Thoroughly recommend!

Our family of five, including three teens, had a fun and interactive day on the Maeklong Railway and Floating Markets private tour. A private van met us at our Bangkok hotel and we had an easy transport to the Maeklong Railway. Our guide, Bakery, was both engaging and informative and tailored his conversation and information to our group of teenage boys. Bakery knew exactly where to take us along the route of the railway to watch the train pass through the market and provided refreshing smoothies in the hot weather. We also visited the floating markets and enjoyed lunch together before returning back to our hotel.

We had a great time on this tour. The driver and the guide were great. The timing and itinerary of the trip were perfect.

We had a great time at the floating markets with Peter. He was very informative and taught us about the railway market and floating market. He was also happy to take photos of my fiancé and me which made my fiancé happy. We saw some Komodo dragons at the floating markets too which was cool.

For a free day on a business trip with our party of 4, we booked the "Private Excursion to Maeklong Railway and Floating markets". Our guide, Aey, was awesome and spoke English very well. The extra cost of a private tour was totally worth it, as we had personized guidance the entire time and were able to easily stay together in our small group. Aey offered to buy us fruit, street food snacks, drinks, and desserts throughout the journey, to the point where we were never even hungry for a full lunch. We really enjoyed both markets, and Aey never rushed us at any time. Highly recommend!

Quite a fun trip. My guide Stephan did a great job leading me thru the excitement and chaos of the train market and floating market. He even added a detour to a nearby coconut plantation and factory. I recommend both the trip and Stephan.

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Peter! He was incredibly informative and very patient, especially helping me with my elderly parents. He truly paid attention to every detail — from providing cool towelettes after a hot excursion to always having cold water ready in the van. Those thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. Peter even remembered all seven of our names, which made the tour feel so personal and special. Our driver, Mario, was also excellent — a safe and smooth driver who got us everywhere comfortably and back safely. We’re so grateful to both of them for such a wonderful day!

We loved our private tour of the railroad and floating markets with our tour guide, Pranee (“Nina”)! We were picked up in a comfortable, air-conditioned van and driven to the railroad market. We enjoyed trying new foods at the markets and learning from our guide about how the markets operate and about Thai culture. Nina was incredibly kind and took lots of photos of us along the way. Both the railway market and the floating markets were fascinating experiences. The round trip from our Bangkok hotel felt short thanks to the interesting scenery outside our windows and the opportunity to learn from Nina. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend booking with this company.

It was a very unique experience and our guide, AEY, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and knew many of the people along our way which helped us to get into some of the best spots during the trip. She was very friendly and made sure we had the ability to try many of the different food items available. A favorite was the coconut ice cream bought on the river

The tour company was very professional we were kept informed and contacted prior to our trip. Due to unforeseen circumstances the start time of our trip changed but we were contacted the day before, also leaving a message confirming the change with our hotel was a nice touch. We were picked up from our hotel as agreed. Transport was conformable, driver was really good and looked after us throughout the journey. He was driving safely, providing cold towels and water after each activity. Our tour guide Tom was fantastic, she was very knowledgeable and provided us with so much information and useful tips. She knew the best place to be for when the train was coming and took a lot of photos for us. We recommend this trip.

Of all our tours in Bangkok, this was the best one! Our guide, Time, spoke great English and was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. There was also alot of food involved! From the best noodles we had to lots of fresh fruit to take home to BBQ on the street. We were also very up close to the train and I appreciate that the boat we used was electric so it was less noisy and less smoke than the usual boat engines. Our driver though he spoke little English was very warm and friendly. He made sure to get out of the car every time to open our doors for us. At the end of the tour, we received iced bottles of water and a cold towel! Definitely recommend both the experience and the service provided!

Our guide Time was the best ever, his English was excellent and he supplied us with local knowledge throughout the day. Time made the whole trip fun and guided us efficiently, but not rushed in any way. We stopped for refreshments along the trip, from local vendors and Time paid for everything, even the best market toilets. The Maekong railway was exciting and the boat ride along the canals relaxing in a quiet electric boat. There was no pressure to buy souvenirs from our guide Time, but it is worth buying something, just to try haggling skills! Sad to say Goodbye to our wonderful guide Time, who did not stop suppling us with information to make the rest of our holiday easier, right til the end. We were dropped off at our next tourist spot, rather than back at the hotel, so that was fab once again! Time bought my husband a lovely gift as it was his birthday 🎁 We loved our time spend together with Time 👍❤️

Sam—and my apologize for forgetting how to spell the driver’s name—were amazing as our tour guide and driver. They went above and beyond by taking me to a pharmacy so I could pick up allergy medication when my allergies started acting up. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Sam.

We recommend this tour from the bottom of our hearts. Our guide (Pranee Nina) and our driver Mr. O showed up just on time to pick us up from our hotel. The minibus was very clean and the drive to our destination felt very safe. Nina is very polite, charmful and informative. We first visited Maeklong Station, then the floating market. We recommend the early tour as traffic gets busier later in the day.
