This tour was so much fun. Our tour guide, Sophia, was full of energy, informative, and fun. We experienced so much of Bangkok’s cuisine in a fun environment. It was a great memory. Highly recommend.
What a fantastic tour around Bangkok! Our guide, Sophie, was so friendly and knowledgeable and took us to some brilliant spots that we would never have found without having the local knowledge.
This tour was our highlight in Bankok! Zooming through the streets in a TukTuk was the best way to see the town, and all of our stops were awesome. The food was unbelievable- we had dimsum, bao, boat noodle soup, the BEST pad thai I’ve ever had, mango sticky rice, deserts and more. We ended with a stroll through the flower market and a cocktail at a roof top bar overlooking all the temples, which were all lit up at night. The best part was our incredible guide Sophie, who was not only fun, but genuinely excited to share stories about the history of her beautiful culture. My belly is stuffed, my heat is full, and my cheeks hurt from smiling ❤️ Do not miss doing this in Bankok! 🇹🇭
Outstanding guide, great food and an amazing city and culture! Sofie is a great guide and we completely enjoyed our time with her on the best food tour Ever! We ate at several places and enjoyed soups, rice dishes, pad thai, pork, and drinks overlooking the Chao Praya to end our evening. Highly recommend!
Tour was great. Would recommend to anyone that visits Thailand. Guide was friendly and respectful. Good was very good. Can’t find better food in Thailand
We had a fabulous time with Sophie. She was very friendly and knowledgable. Food was amazing and the view from the rooftop bar -wow.
Wonderful guide Sophia. Tasted great food and had a great time! She gave us a little history and explained all out tastings. Ended the night at a very cool rooftop bar!
Very informative and friendly guide took us to many locations to enjoy food and shared historical information while enjoying the tour. The tuk tuks are always fun!!
Sophie was a lovely guide, very knowledgable with a friendly nature. We enjoyed the food tastings along with the tuk tuk ride through China Town. Great sights along the way.
We had a wonderful time with our vibrant and informative guide Sophie. Not only did we get to try several delicious traditional Thai dishes but we were also gifted with a flower bracelet from the flower market and ended the night with a mocktail at a rooftop bar. It was a fun experience for the whole family on the Tots and we met some lovely people on our tour. I would highly recommend doing this experience. Sophie was a fantastic guide.
Excellent tour guide who is well informed and super friendly. We really enjoyed every moment of the trip. The select ion of food was excellent very tasty. We will recommend the tour.to our friends as we believe it was value for money and excellent customer experience. Exceeded our expectations
This food tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! The tuk tuk drivers were so fun and kind, which made getting around part of the experience itself. Our guide, Sophie, was truly a dream personable, funny, and full of the best local tips that we never would have found on our own. The tour was a perfect way to take in the history and sights while also tasting a wide variety of delicious local foods. Everything felt informative, and genuinely enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend this tour more it’s a fantastic way to experience the city through both culture and cuisine!
Our food tour was so much fun! Our tuk tuk had a speaker we could connect to as we drove around Bangkok. The price was reasonable for the multiple stops, tuk tuks, and city tour! Our guide, Sophie was very knowledgeable. The length of the tour was just right, a good amount of time between food stops and very interactive.
This was an awesome, must-do adventure! Sophie was the best. She took me by Tuk Tuk to all of the best spots to eat in Bangkok's Chinatown and explained every tasty dish and the history of the neighborhood. She even took me to some secret haunted locations and we had drinks at a nice rooftop bar overlooking the river at night. I had a most wonderful time and will definitely come back again and do more tours with her. Thank you so much!
Sophie was very enthusiastic and gave us quite a lot of information about Bangkok and Thai Food. The tuk tuks were fun! I think our fellow guests enjoyed it, but for us - the food was a let down. All the places were in very basic restaurants or alleyways for the street food in Chinatown. We started with a nice soup, then a dessert, then another dessert on the street. Then, in an alleyway, we had Tom Sam soup, Pad thai noodles & a chili salad. We only really enjoyed the soups. I hoped for a meat dish & some rice at some point. We left hungry. I admit we don't like all thai food. The tour continued to a famous temple & the flower market area. I'd have preferred our food in the order of a regular meal.
Our tour guide Sophie did an amazing job taking us around Bangkok. She helped us understand some of the culture as well as introduced us to several local delicacies. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come again.
So glad we booked this trip. Sophie was a great guide: knowledgeable, informative, personable and great company. We experienced wonderful food (of course) but also gained an insight into the history and culture of Bangkok and Thailand.
This was a fun experience exploring a new city. Sophie was our guide and brought us to a handful of restaurants and food market booths. The food was a blend of Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese. We tasted the best Tom Yum soup, pad thai, and mango with sticky rice we had in all of Thailand. Sophie also sprinkled in some Thai history, walked us through the 24/7 flower market, and brought us to a fabulous roof top bar called Eagle's Nest, with a spectacular view of Wat Arun. Our tuk tuk driver was awesome and he drove us to our hotel at the end of the evening was was a huge bonus. Fun night and would recommend!
It was a great experience and our tour guide was amazing. She is also great with kids and she knows her Bangkok history.
I did this tour a couple of years ago when I visited Bangkok on my own I came this time with my daughter and her fiance . We made the mistake of eating about an hour before the tour ( around 15.30) as we had traveled since 4am , not eaten and only booked the tour about 15.30!) So we weren’t really hungry ! There is so much food , so come Hungry! You visit all the food places for the first couple of hours , then the last 2 are going around the city and then finish off at the roof top bar , which has amazing views over the river and wat Arun opposite The food is delicious and plentiful Tour guide was really lovely, funny and very informative about Bangkok / Thailand. The only downside is you can’t really see out of the tuk tuks , they could do with having like a clear roof so you can see the city as you travel around On the whole , it is a great tour , probably a bit pricey but still worth Doing But go hungry !!!!
Excellent tour of Chinatown and the food available. Sophie did a great job in accommodating us and our 3 year olds questions throughout the night.
What a fantastic way to explore the city! Definitely recommend doing this tour early in your Bangkok programme as you’ll want to go back again! Sophie was so good at explaining the different aspects of the city and its history- fascinating! Would highly recommend!
Sophie was an amazing tour guide, we had so much fun with her. She was very knowledgable, passionate, kind and absolutely hilarious! Would 100% recommend
We loved our tour with Sophie. What a wealth of information… and we enjoyed so much food together. The tour is focused around Chinatown with a fabulous little bar at the end overlooking the river and temples. Highly recommended.
There was plenty to eat so go with an empty stomach! Sophie was great and we had a fab night and plenty of laughs, along with a lot of knowledge on Bangkok.
Really fun night out, loads and loads of food so go hungry. Really gives you an insight into the more traditional style of Bangkok. Sophie our tour guide was amazing as were our three Tut Tut drivers.
The views & food were amazing we took so many photos and our tour guide Sophie was great we had a wonderful night and to top it off the last stop was on a roof top bar seeing the river
Sunny was a great tour guide, she took us to some amazing places with plenty of tasty eats. Her stories and knowledge of Thailand and Bangkok kept us entertained. We ended at a flower market and then a roof top bar that provided an amazing view.
Sophie was a great guide. Loved the food but it was too much. Didn’t need to go to view the palace and the swing. Other than that I would highly recommend!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Bangkok Tuk Tuk Food Tour by Night! The food was delicious and varied, and the tuk tuk rides made exploring the city so much fun. The real highlight, though, was our guide Sophie. She was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and full of interesting stories about Bangkok and its food scene. Sophie’s positive energy and attention to detail made us feel welcome and ensured we all had a memorable night. I can’t recommend this tour enough-especially if you’re lucky enough to have Sophie as your guide!
We’re used to dining from “fine” to “down home”, and have traveled many places in the world. But we would never have discovered the little joints our guide, Sophie, took us to…some down very “rustic” alleys we likely would never have thought to explore, and frankly we might have hesitated going into a couple of them!! But it was a kick and we had a ball! The food overall was delicious, authentic, and fun to eat. We started with a noodle soup, and had Chinese dim sum, Thai dishes, grilled meat and a spicy green papaya salad, where the heat built and Sophie laughed saying it was only 1 chili hot! At that place, the grilled meat was served with a sauce that had sticky rice powder in it to accompany the delicious pork, and also sticky rice itself. Following that theme, because we were stuffed, Sophie got us dessert-to-go, and it was the wonderful Mango and Sticky Rice…which, when we enjoyed it later back at our hotel, was to die for. Interspersed with the stops, Sophie gave us some history of Thailand, of Bangkok, and of Chinatown. She was friendly and open to our questions, and our concerns. The latter had more to do with our personal situation of not wanting to walk too much ~ in the heat and because my partner is about to have a knee replacement next month. This is one of the reasons we thought a tuk-tuk tour would make sense for us. We appreciated her understanding and altering the tour a bit to accommodate our needs, like skipping walking to see a temple or a rooftop view. Also worthy of an appreciative nod was Alex’s good and timely communication prior to the tour, with meeting arrangements, etc. The only real caveat we have about this tour is for others who might, like us, be less spry ~~ because getting into and out of the tuk-tuk was surprisingly a bit of a challenge, needing to duck under the chrome awning bar and double over to fit into the small, raised floor of the cab area. It took maneuvering! Yet in review, thanks to Sophie, our skillful driver, and the terrific, delicious food at each place, we had a great and memorable time!
Overal we enjoyed the experience. Our guide Sophie was very friendly and we were completely happy in her company. On the food side, I think there is a room for improvement. Firstly, the food sequence felt a bit odd (soup, dim sums, desert, desert, main, soup, salad, main, main). Dishes themselves were quite nice. Althoough some of them were more chinese rather than thai, as the whole tour takes place in the chinatown. As a foodie, I would also prefer more information about the food - a brief guide to receipes, whi they were made, etc., and probably to annonce more what we gonna eat in advance. The last stop at the rooftop bar o the river is very nice in all aspects. Overall a good experience but the food offerings can be thought through a bit better, for the same pricing.
He was exceptionally friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I wholeheartedly recommend him to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
Great trip! Got to see bits of Bangkok that we would or never of seen.. Trying the different foods and some of the quirky little restaurants was a great experience. But the trip was made by our amazing tour guide Sophie. She was the best, so positive and happy and full of many interesting facts. Thank you so much Sophie. We would highly recommend this trip, but make sure you get Sophie! 🙏
Fantastic trip with Sophie as our guide. We loved all the food and the Tuk Tuks were great fun. Great way to see some of Bangkok and try food you wouldn’t try normally. Sophie was very nice and told us lots of interesting information. Would recommend to all.
Sophie was a great guide and the food was outstanding. We went to dining places we would have never found on our own. The view from the rooftop bar was spectacular, The ride home in tuk tuk’s were an added bonus.
A brilliant experience led by Sophie - it was more than a food tour as Sophie told us a lot of interesting information about Bangkok and took us to a couple of other areas such as the flower market and the symbol of Bangkok. The tuktuk drivers were great and all the food delicious. Takes the worry away from choosing your own street food. Would highly recommend to anyone :-) one of the best things we did whilst in Bangkok and well worth the money!
Awesome experience sampling delicious food, seeing temples at night, and visiting the china town flower market. I would highly recommend this AJ Travel Tour and our guide Tta.
You simply must do this tour! Sophi was great and the food was delicious. We loved seeing areas of the city we hadn’t been to and discovering hidden gems. Highly recommend!
We had a brilliant night out. We messed up our getting to the start point but by a mix of texts and calls with Sophie, our brilliant guide, we made it to the first restaurant stop just in time to grab our first bowl of food. From there on in it was off to the Chinatown street food market, trying a variety of sweet and savoury treats ( including my first cricket ) and all the while Sophie making the tour funny and fun. The wander though the amazing flower market was incredible and still more food after that, and finally finish8ng off with a late night cocktail on a riverside bar. A brilliant fun time had by all.
Our guided tour with Sophie was exceptional. This was a no pressure fun food tour experiencing every aspect of Thai food. The tour included sights and history of Bangkok, the flower market and such a nice touch to finish at a rooftop bar. The ride back to our hotel was unexpected and very welcome. Sophie is a credit to the company and really made the tour come alive.
100% Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and very flexible. We loved all our food. Too much to be fair. Amazing experience x
Sophie was our guide and she was fun. She was knowledgeable and amusing and involved everyone in the event.
Sofie was an amazing, thoughtful and knowledgeable guide for our food tour via Tuk Tuk. She took us to her favorite places throughout Yaowarat. Her energy is welcoming and the night was full of laughter & full bellies.
Sophie was amazing! We tried so many different foods in places we would never found. Very educational and entertaining.
My family and I absolutely loved our tour with Sophie - she took us to some amazing places and told us so much about Bangkok its history , one of the best tours we have had - highly recommend
We had an amazing experience on the tour! Sophie was a fantastic guide—so friendly and full of great stories and insights about the area. We loved exploring the different spots and trying all the delicious food. There was so much to eat! The driver was also very friendly, which made the experience even better. My family of four absolutely loved it!
Our guide name is Kay! His English is surprisingly better than most locals that we have met. We travel with Tuk Tuk and he brought us to several places for foods. The foods are above our expected standard. This tour doesn't only focus on foods, a few sightseeing as well. Well this isn't a sightseeing tour however we are surprise by a local flower market, my wife loves flowers so I brought a nice rose for her birthday gift. The overall experience is above average and it well worth for what we had paid for.
Sophie was fantastic. She gave us a lot of knowledge on the area and brought us to great food spot. She let us even buy bugs to eat! I would recommend Sophie to anyone wanting a fun experience!
