I visited Khongsittha in March of 2025 after going on an extensive rabbit-hole searching for the right training facility. I decided on stay my first few days in Lat Prao and training the first two days in Khongsittha because they were very attentive to my needs and were the easiest to contact prior to arriving in Bangkok. The other places I visited are Yokkao and Rajadamnern Singha Muay Thai. Upon arrival, I went straight to the accommodations they had arranged for me and into the gym. Unfortunately my arrival was at an odd time, so I wasn't able to attend my private lesson right away, however, they let me use the gym facilities as I needed to loosen up from 18 hour travel time. After breaking a sweat, they introduced me to my trainer and we got to work. The staff were friendly, although, I wasn't sure who was official staff and who was just there to help out. The staff even helped arranged for me to get a sak yant (which I didn't end up getting, because I was too busy; not because the failed to). I am already coordinating my trip back this year in August and will most likely continue training there.
Couldn’t have asked for a more friendly, informative, fun environment to spend the last month in, every single one of the coaches knows more about Muay Thai than you could even comprehend and they are all some of the best most kind hearted teachers I’ve had in my entire life. Out of the 100s of gyms in Bangkok, Khongsittha is by far the best overall experience. I’ve made friends for life, and the overall camaraderie of all of the students and the coaches is unique to this gym. To all the students and coaches at Khongsittha I thank you.
The gym itself is very authentic and has that traditional vibe. Trainers are very experienced and friendly - offering great time while learning. Different levels of students make it easier for new people to join in. Accommodation is right behind the gym which makes it easier to get to the trainings and there's also a market right beside the gym so you can grab food after the training.
Thank you to the trainers at Khongsittha for providing a safe and fun environment to learn Muay Thai. Your experience, knowledge and sharp attention to detail has helped to improve my technique in a short span of time (I stayed for one month). Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advance, each trainer can gage your skill level and teach you accordingly. And the trainers take care of you, if you have any injuries (like I did). Thank you to Kru Jack for teaching me new techniques and taking the time to explain the steps. I learnt a lot from you. And to Kru Yuen, thank you for pushing me physically and mentally in training and taking the time to correct my basics (techniques). I would encourage anyone, whatever your skill level, to check out and train at Khongsitta Muay Thai, when you're in Bangkok. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Until next time…
I stayed at the accommodation and trained for about 2 weeks. I have to admit, the place was much better than what I had expected! The trainers are very patient and walk you through the technique also the gym is kept clean and maintained very well. The gym is very welcoming to all levels beginners and advanced. I loved the place a lot and will definitely visit again soon!
My stay at Khongsittha Muaythai for 30 days was amazing. The trainers are super friendly and very helpful. The gym was clean and has a great atmosphere about it. The adjoining hotel was great to stay in, just a 2 min walk to training. The rooms are clean with hot water and wifi and the local area has everything you would need, like authentic Thai food and cafés all within 5 min walk. I found the gym was a great place to have as a base to see the many amazing tourist sights that Bangkok has to offer and most things where within 45min cab ride. I highly recommend staying and training here and I’m sure I’ll be back again.
The training sessions were technical, with the instructors tailoring the padwork, sparring etc. to the specific individual. I felt that every session was beneficial and exposure to the variety of trainers led to many useful pearls of advice which led to improved balance and execution of technique. Friendly and welcoming environment with the clean and comfortable accommodation make for a memorable experience!
First time in Bangkok with Khongsittha and what a memorable experience! I was there from March 5 to about 12 and not only the training atmosphere both engaging and fun but the gym itself is very clean and very spacious! The coaches are also very friendly and accommodating! The room I was in was very clean and very much well-maintained. I would visit this place again in a heartbeat! Khap khun! Shoutouts to the Krus who made the experience absolutely memorable!
Great experience! I just stayed for three days but I will definitely train here again, unfortunately my schedule was tight. Good Trainers, food at the cafe is also excelent. The hotel is obviously not a five star hotel but is next to the gym, which is an advantage, you should try to install a pool, it will be great to relax after trainings.
I am a 29-year old that attended the 30-day training in September 2019 with food and accommodation. I had no prior experience with Muay Thai before starting. Trainers: The trainers are professional, engaging, passionate, and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable as a beginner and were invested in the success and well-being of every single student there. They made sure to cater the programs differently to the different ages, fitness levels, and skill levels of the students. We all gots plenty of one on one time which I found to be super helpful. On our days off, the trainers would take us to see fights and some of the sights around the city. Accommodation: The accommodation was very nice and had cold AC. It is located about a 3 min walk from the gym. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food: The restaurant is right beside the gym and the food was delicious. The portions are a bit small so I did have to supplement by buying some of my own food from the other restaurants and street food stands in the area. Owners: I got a chance to meet Matt and Dunk and they made sure I was having a great experience. They provided recommendations for fun things to do on our days off, took us to watch fights, and assisted with transportation and planning. I highly recommend Khongsittha for anyone who is taking a look at training Muay Thai in Bangkok!
Pulling the trigger on this trip was absolutely one of the best choices I've ever made. Hesitation is not only natural, but probably born of some healthy caution when it comes to a 1 month commitment - especially for somebody who'd never been to Thailand or trained Muay Thai. After meeting the trainers, seeing the accommodations and realizing that Bangkok is about to exceed any expectations that I may have packed in my carry on, I knew I'd made the right choice. The training was comprehensive, but not overwhelming for a first-time fighter. Patience is plentiful in the gym, and I was relieved to discover this. The food that I was eating on the meal-plan made it tough to get on the flight home - it was that impressive. And the city itself has been calling my name to come back ever since. And, at the risk of sounding irritating, the bragging rights that are afforded to somebody who trained Muay Thai in Bangkok have been paying me dividends ever since.
Looking for a real Muay Thai camp that gives you the real Thai experience? Look no further! This is the best you’re going to find with the friendliest staff around! Extremely experienced trainers/fighters, the room accommodations were comfortable, the food was small portioned, but delicious! You’ll train just like a real nak Muay! Be prepared to learn, sweat, and have an unforgettable experience! You’ll fall in love with the camp and all the people! I can’t wait to come back!
It was really good and I learned so much more from the people that trained me there. They also make us work hard because they actually care and that’s why my experience there was great.
All the trainers were very helpful, they took great care of me and my teammates. I highly recommend it for fighters and first timers that want to see Thailand and learn Muay Thai.
Great accommodations, excellent training, and extremely helpful and kind staff. The trainers took me out to see Bangkok a few nights. They can accommodate all levels of training and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a fun getaway.
Fantastic experience at KST, Was there about 2.5 weeks in Total. Very convenient to stay at the resort and include the meals. The food at the restaurant had a good variety and delicious healthy options. The area is very practical as well with all you need is within walking distance from the training facility. Training staff is great and accommodating to different levels of experience. Fantastic place to learn and get in shape while on vacation. Also, it was a great experience to go and see a live Muay Thai fight with the owner and staff of the gym. For sure will be back and will recommend to all friends.
Khongsittha muay thai Strong recommendations from 2 young guys. Few people in the camp and plenty of coaches so everyone had a good experience.
Unforgettable ice baths, my physical strength quickly recovered; I don't forget to run the street, my will became stronger. I am a beginner and the instructors know how to use different teaching methods to carefully, seriously, patiently and proactively adjust every move. Boxing, kicking, knee skills, walking, defensive, physical training, tai chi dancing.....three days of full-day training is very comprehensive and rich, each second adds value to health, making me stronger. The resort is only 1 minute away from the training camp, which helps us to make a time off.
