We booked this trip for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers as a good intro to Bangkok and its food. We met our guide, Kwan, in Chinatown at 6pm with rumbling tummies. It was a bonus that our group was a small one with just a Dutch couple, so it was very manageable. The next 3 hours took in LOTS of different foods and vendors, both street food and cafes. The best bit was that the majority were way of the beaten track and involved going down dark alleys that you would have stayed away from as a "sensible" European. The journey proved that fortune favours the (informed) brave, as nearly everything was excellent. After a ko of a dish between 2 of a yellow curry and a green curry (lovely) we arrived at Jok One Table, closely followed in by an elderly man on a Honda moped. Our guide told us this unassuming chap was the famous tv chef, Ken Hom, and was cooking a banquet for an eager family party. This news was somewhat underwhelming for our Dutch friends who hadn't seen Ken in action on daytime tv, but given we had a Ken Hom branded wok at home, was almost up there with the prospect of meeting a hollywood A lister. Kwan bagged us a pic with the Chef, and although it was a bit fishy that the famous tv chef now couldnt speak a word of English, he seemed happy to show us his kitchen and a framed article about Ken Hom on the wall. The dumplings we ate were definitely worthy of a BBC tv show. Other tasty stops were for a feast of satay, soups, a red hot pork curry, and moreish spring rolls. After a walk up another dark alley, Kwan fast tracked us into a cafe selling soups filled with pork / pork crackling. Those not in the know had to queue up for ages. Another winner as the crackling and pork was to die fot. Desert time, and the wait for diced mango, sticky rice and coconut ice cream served on banana leaves really hit the spot. We still just about had room for fried grasshoppers, and the chinese version of churros. The latter yummy; the grasshoppers more of a rite of passage. And then we had to wave goodbye. With full stomachs and happy memories. A google afterwards at our hotel revealed that Ken Hom was a massive fan of Jok and had name checked it in a Hello article in 2014, but isnt actually the resident chef in Bangkok. Who wants to meet your heroes anyway - bet Ken wouldnt have been as excited as Mr Jok was at the news we owned his one of his woks!

Enjoyed all the food on the tour and Peak made it fun and entertaining.
Wonderful little tour in the heart of Chinatown. Nice spots and great history into the establishments. Our guide spoke great English and Thai. Our group was small and is perfect for most of these spots since they're on the street.
Went with this trip, our guide was TK, he was enjoyable to be with, and easy to understand, he was also happy to go "off piste", ( we asked a couple of times to have something different, and he obliged, happily). The food was good, and we saw another side of Bangkok, that we hadn't seen. Overall very happy with the trip,
Best food tour in Thailand. Most of the stops-were featured on Netflix cooking shows! Our guide was amazing and gave all in on our experiences.
Had a fabulous evening, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, we ate in back street places we would never had found, food was very tasty and plentiful
Peak was an amazing! This tour was so much fun. All the food was so tasty. Definitely recommend this tour!
Our tour guide Kwan was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. I love that we went to areas that were tucked away that I would not normally have seen. More than enough food for this to be dinner. We were stuffed! My favorite dish was the yellow curry.
The tour was amazing! There were so many foods to try, including some Thai classics as well as Thai inspired Chinese cuisine, which was so cool to experience. My friends and I were stuffed after this tour, and there were opportunities to have seconds if you really liked a certain dish. Our guide Kwan was so engaging, knowledgeable, and friendly. She provided a lot of great info about Thai restaurant culture overall and some pointers for the rest of our trip! This tour not only is a great culinary experience, but a great way to get to know Bangkok's super lively chinatown.
Alex was a great guide! Very accommodating to my friend with dietary restrictions. Super funny and nice to be around, very knowledgeable about culture. Could not have asked for a better guide, had a great experience!
Food tour was awesome and VERY filling - so much food and all super great. Naan was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and accomodating. would recommend!
We had a wonderful guide(TK?), who told us a lot about Bangkok‘s history! The first station was fantastic, and it was soo much food!
Was cancelled by the operator a few hours before the tour date because they didn’t reach their “minimum” head count, so beware your plans could get shifted because they don’t hit an unadvertised quota
I am sorry to say so, but the trip was very disappointing. We had 7-8 foods to try includung desserts instead of 10-12 advertised. The tour guide was replaced last minute and arrived late. The tour lasted 2h not 3h and most importantly Bank altough very polite doesn’t really speak english. He was barely able to tell us what we eat and didn’t answer almost none of our questions. I contacted both Top Sight Tour and Viator regarding a partial refund, but they immediately declined which is also disappointing, apparently paing almost 20$ extra to book via Viator doesn’t guarantee the quality I thought it would.
Loved the tour with our guide Nuch! 🥰 She was very kind and personal and took us to great (hidden) and local spots. All the food was delicious!! A very fun way to explore China Town and area. The only complaint was that I which I had a bigger stomach to eat more 🤣 (you really should come hungry)! Khop Khun Ka Nuch!
Brilliant tour, and well worth the price. Our guide was lovely, knowledgable, and took us to so many spots I’d never have found by myself. We must have tried at least a dozen dishes—you won’t go hungry! A great way to explore chinatown and a super friendly small group experience, great for meeting new people. Highly recommended!
Food was great, and we ate until we were stuffed. It was awesome to have an authentic experience and try some new things! Our guide, TK was amazing! He was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable, to say the least. Would do this again :)
The tour was really incredible especially with our tour guide TK. He guided us well and gave us valuable information about the local food and the history of Chinatown. The tour was also packed with a lot of food, all being tasty and delicious 😋. Despite the free sauna because of the hot weather, we still enjoyed it because TK was very funny and cracked witty jokes while serving us with delicious food. 10 out of 5 stars 🌟 would be my rating.
Por was an excellent guide, and helped us try many delicious Chinese and Thai influenced dishes. He gave great insight into China Town. Would recommend 100% for a great way to stop at places you might never have the confidence to do otherwise!
We had some of the best food in BKK on this food tour. Aey was professional and friendly, and knows her stuff. Definitely will return for the food.
I met Aey in the busy street of Tailand, what a perfect guide she is ! We stroll through the hot summer air and our hearts are inspiring ! The authentically flavoured Thai dishes is perfect !
The best tour guide!! Nae explained everything he know to us and introduced lots of delicious food even the recipes. We had a blast! We’re so lucky to have Nae together spend a wonderful afternoon.
My daughter and I love to try out local delicacies and Aey did not disappoint us. We had at least 10 or 11 excellent street food on this incredible Bangkok Food Tour! Some of the street food places were extremely crowded (we went on a Saturday) and yet Aey was able to find a place for us to eat without a long wait! We especially liked the papaya salad, the white pepper soup with crackling pigs intestine, the shrimp & pork dumpling and mango with sticky rice. Thank you, Aey, for introducing us to some excellent Thai street food!
We had fun with this! We got to try a lot of different foods, way more than we would have tried on our own. (..............)
Poon was a great guide. She’s so friendly and we had a good conversation. The food was amazingly delicious. Too much food that we were so full at the end. The fried insects was interesting…probably not one of my favourite food 😃
Great food tour with TK, we were stuffed by the end of it! They mould the tour based on dietary requirements which is fantastic too
When they say to come hungry, they were not just saying it... You will have a lot of different Thai foods to try, from Green Curry to Tom Yum, Noodles, and many places have a Michelin star. The best part were the tour guides (Aey and Nea) that made such a big difference in going upfront to get a place for us, explaining what we were going to eat and also explaining about the history of Chinatown. This tour is definetly recommended!
Amazing food with very informative guides. Aye, Por and Paul were super friendly and created a lovely experience for the whole group
Thanks to Elena for a great good tour -taking us around china town and tasting some of the best food in the city! She promised mitchelin food and we got it!
It was a good night. Food was good. People were nice and kind. Not only the food experience, and also some Thai cultures. 5 stars for this tour.
This was the best food tour out of the many we had in Asia. The dishes were so delicious, well picked and they just kept coming, we were feeling full even from the middle of the tour. Special thanks to our guide TK who also went above and beyond to cater for my partner who doesn't eat meat. Very kind, knowleageable and always trying to satisfy the group. Will definetely recommend them!
Michelin level food restaurants were greatly appreciated. This included delicious desserts, dumplings and curry in Chinatown.
Johannes was a great guide and the food was AMAZING! Got to try foods I may not have even known about without the tour.
It was a super fun tour! Great food and we got to see some beautiful parts of Chinatown that are true hidden gems.

Excellent, a great opportunity to explore Thai cuisine. The tour starts under the dragon in front of Starbucks
Fantastic trip! The food was absolutely excellent and our guide, Poon, was the sweetest and super engaged. We went in a small group of only 4 which made it absolutely exceptional. Can only be recommended.
It was a great tour with Johannes. We can absolutely recommend it. The food was great and all in all we experienced a lot.
Everything was perfect. Johannes was a really nice and helpful guide who was able to show us Bangkok perfectly. It was our first time there and thanks to the tour with Johannes we are now very well informed.
