A wonderful experience thanks to our guide, Chill! It was clear that he was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the site. We learned so much from him, and despite the crowds, his presence and explanations allowed us to fully enjoy our visit to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. A huge thank you to him! However, the transfer arrangements really need to be improved. Upon arrival, the driver simply dropped us off near the palace and vaguely told us to “go over there,” without explaining that we had to meet our guide at a specific meeting point. We spent around ten minutes trying to understand what was happening, and it was ultimately other guides, who were not affiliated with GetYourGuide, who showed us where to go. Communication was just as poor for the return transfer. We had to wait quite a while for the driver, who was not the same person who had driven us there. Thankfully, Chill stayed with us and waited until the driver arrived. Overall, the guided tour itself was excellent thanks to Chill, who was passionate, knowledgeable and engaging, but the transfer service was confusing and disappointing and definitely needs improvement.

Wan was exceptional and highly knowledgeable. I booked a group tour, and to my surprise, I was the only participant, which initially raised concerns about the potential cancellation. Wan arrived promptly and maintained a friendly, energetic attitude, engaging with me as if I were part of a large group. She demonstrated great patience and expertise, enhancing my experience with her enthusiasm. As this was my first visit to Bangkok, her guidance truly made the trip memorable. She is undoubtedly one of the best tour guides I have had the pleasure of working with, and I hope others have the opportunity to be guided by her.

Our tourguide Chill is a sympathic and kind-hearted man. In 2 hours he explained us everything in detail and also answered all our questions. I had a good time. Definitely a recommendation!!!

It’s very interesting. Nicky our guide was most helpful, energetic and fun and very informative. There is quite a lot of walking and the visual splendour can be overwhelming. Plus there can be information overload which at times was a bit overwhelming for an older couple.

We did the Grand Palace and Temples 4 hr tour. Thanya was our guide and she was wonderfull!! Knowledgeable, flexible when we wanted to go inside someplace that she wasn’t specifically guiding us, and great with our tired, hungry 11 yr old. Please tip her a little extra because we didn’t til her enough (miscommunication). She’s worth it and if enough of you do, she’ll be whole :).

We had a great tour with Tanya who was an excellent guide. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is really my own fault. We only had a short time in Bangkok so I booked a half day tour starting at 1pm. I cannot say how hot it was. It was unbelievable. And then we had a long trip back to hotel in afternoon rush hour. If you can, book this as a morning tour.

Excellent guide! Deep knowledge of the temple history, general Thai history and Buddhism. Really liked the amount of time spent and the efficiency of touring all 3 temple sites.

The communication with the local company was very good, on time pick up, the local guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable, overall a great experience, highly recommended
