My experience exceeded way beyond our expectations. Lin and Kevin spoke English which we appreciated very much. Their knowledge helped us understand the history of the places we visited and we would do it again in a heartbeat. You both Rocked!

Itinerary
Transfer from your hotel in Bangkok downtown to the floating market takes 1 hour and 45 minutes. The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is among one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Motor boat rides are already included in your tour! Many Thai and foreign tourists come here to absorb the atmosphere of Thailand water markets that have been like this for over a 100 years. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle.
The Railway Market is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! You will have fun riding a local train toward the Mae Klong station. While on this train, you will see the “Unseen-Thailand” experience. When the train signal rings up, the chaos will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stall and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all shop owners will resume their stalls again.
The whitish salt field, not a rice field, of course. A special bonus tour for our guests who join our floating and railway market tour in 2020. This sea salt is produced by Thai local wisdom. The salt farmer will rotate the sea water in different levels matching the strength of wind and sunlight. The rotation will continue until the salt becomes a “salt mountain” which are ready for cooking, skincare, and agriculture. On the Highway 35 in Samut Sakhorn province, our guide will lead you to rub the salt to your hand and take amazing photos!
You will observe how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar and palm sugar loaf. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the coconut nectar into the drinkable one. You will try squeezing coconut milk from coconut shell using a traditional Thai “rabbit-teeth” wooden machine.
Experience the refreshing air and lush greenery at the Mangrove Forest Conservation Center, a sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of mangrove forests and water sources. This center offers both locals and tourists the unique opportunity to actively participate in preserving these vital natural habitats for wildlife, contributing to their restoration and abundance. At the center, knowledgeable staff provide valuable insights and guidance on mangrove planting techniques. You will gain a firsthand understanding of how mangroves serve as natural filters, trapping pollutants and sediments, thereby playing a crucial role in maintaining environmental quality. As you explore, you'll discover the diverse species of flora and fauna that flourish within these ecosystems. This experience underscores the importance of preserving biodiversity to sustain ecosystem balance and resilience.
Join us for an unforgettable journey through the Mangrove Forest Conservation Center, where you'll immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the local community. Experience a serene boat ride through the lush mangrove forest, a testament to the community's dedicated restoration efforts. Witness traditional clam digging by local fishermen and enjoy the unique experience of feeding the playful monkeys that inhabit the area. Rest assured, your safety and that of your belongings is our priority, as the monkeys will remain in the water while you stay comfortably on the boat, maintaining a safe and enjoyable distance.

It was a full day. We experienced the VIP extended tour. Our guides, Lin and Kevin were exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The rating system only gave us a maximum of 5 to rate our experience, but I want to give them a 10 plus, plus, plus. Both of you were the best and when we return to Thailand, we will request you on our next trip, You both rocked!
Wonderful times during this tour! Truly will become memorable. Tour guide was very pleasant and quite knowledgeable.
Lina is one of the best guides I had ever experienced; polite and kind, extremely knowledgeable and very experienced throughout the different markets. She shows you the classics routes but also goes off the main touristy paths to allow for a really unique experience. With Kevin, the driver, they form an incredible duo for an unforgettable tour. Extremely recommended!
Absolutely lovely day on a long tail boat & bicycles. We had no idea we would get to feed the monkeys and it ended up being the highlight of the trip! Visiting the local farms and seeing how they made their produce was very insightful. Would highly recommend this tour!
We had a fantastic time on this tour! Our guide (Tip) and our driver (Samran) were courteous and fun. This was a highly enjoyable experience, we loved the monkeys!
We had a fantastic time on this tour! Our guide (Tip) and our driver (Samran) were courteous and fun. This was a highly enjoyable experience, we lived the monkeys!
We enjoyed our private tour led by our tour guide Poppy, who gave us informative insight on places we've visited. We went to a salt farm while waiting to board the train to the Maeklong railway market. We also visited the floating market that had vendors selling various things, such as souvenirs, paintings, clothing, and food. This tour was very convenient with transportation, and I highly recommend this tour if you like shopping and/or sightseeing.
Great day with Lin and Kevin. Picked us up and dropped back to hotel... lots of information from Lin at all the activities.. would highly recommend
Had an amazing day with Lin and Kevin, would recommend the full tour with the mangroves and monkeys. Lovely day out and packed full of activities. Our guide Lin and driver Kevin were the best!
Poppi was an excellent guide for the railway & floating market tour. She was very friendly, attentive, shared a lot of local knowledge. I would recommend booking with her!
Great time. Our guide (Jackie) was the absolute best. Contacted us the day before to make sure we were all on the same page. Picked us up and headed to the train pick up. Train was very cool. Short ride on the train and it pulled in through the market. Window seat allows you to film how close the actual stalls are to the train. People will high five you going through so hang onto your phone. Quite the experience. You get to walk around once everything "opens" back up. Then it's off to the floating market. You stop at a small Coconut Farm where you get to look at/watch the traditional coconut processing. Don't see the actual farm or harvesting but neat all the same. Your group gets it's own boat. Holy crap..! This is something to see if for no other reason than the chaos factor. Boats travel through a couple of small canals to get to the market. Boats locked tight, bumping into each other, flowing through shops on each side. Small boats selling beer, food and whatever flow through next to you while the sides are lined with shops trying to sell everything you could imagine. Tourists buying stuff everywhere. Paradise for those of us that have ADD... It was something you won't regret you did. Both are very "Bangkok". And again Jackie was awesome. Personable, knowledgeable, accommodating. Took pictures for us. He was great.
Great tour, the coconut sugar was delicious, the railway and floating markets are amazing, if your after some great art check out the studio at the floating markets.
We had a great tour with Lin. She met us at the hotel and we rode about 70 KM outside Bangkok city to see the rural life of the Thai people. Lin told us about the salt farms and we had a delicious Thai coffee. We took a train ride to the Risky Market and Lin made sure we had the best seats to view the croud as we pulled into the station. Lin also took photos and videos of us on our journey. We then went to the floating market where vendors were selling their wares from boats and piers on the canal. It was interesting to see the local residents out doing their morning chores. Lin then suggested a great place for lunch on our own. The food was delicious and the restaurant was very nice. We then had a 2 hour ride back to our hotel. Our driver was also fantastic watching out for us along the way. This tour was a great way to see the life outside the city and to experience life amongst the locals.
Our trip was well organized, we had a chance to take the train and arrive to the railway market and were very impressed how this all works! We could buy some nice fruit too. Then we visited coconut farm which was great and then we went to the floating market where we tried delicious coconut ice-cream, pad Thai and Tom yum soup! Our guide - Luck was amazing! Totally recommend taking a tour with her!
Luck, my tour guide, was excellent. Would give ten stars if I could. Timing of tour was perfect. Tour guide spent a lot of time reviewing the history.
What a great tour this is. We had a fantastic day with NOK our guide and Mr Bot our driver. Both were a heap of fun, spoke very good English and were really knowledgeable. We learnt a lot from both of them. Would highly recommend this tour and would definitely book with these guys again!!
We had a great day experiencing the railway market and floating market by train and longboat. We also went to a salt and coconut farm. All were amazing and fascinating to learn about. We loved our tour guide Lin!! We would highly recommend this tour.
Luke is very good at what she do! , very pleasant half day tour. The tour was very interesting to visit the floating market and the one on the rail road
We woke up bright and early to go on this tour this morning and it really did not disappoint! Our guide Ice was on time to meet us at our hotel and whisked us off in a nice clean air conditioned 4x4 with the lovely Mr Samlaan as our driver. We opted for the private tour as we wanted to be comfortable and also add/remove things we did or didn’t want to do if the need arose. We went to see a salt farm before and a coconut farm inbetween seeing the two markets. Recommend both but loved the coconut farm - the owner was so charming and there were so many products available to buy right there. For the railway market, Mr Samlaan dropped us off and you ride the train into the railway market and are able to see how close the stalls are to the railway - you can actually high five the vendors through the window! When the train leaves you get to see the vendors tidying their stalls off the railway lines in preparation - some of the tables are on wheels to make it easier. It really is a fascinating experience. The floating market is no less amazing - food, clothes, accessories - you name it! Through it all ICE was just amazing! Really responsive to what his tourists want to do, very friendly and always happy to take a picture/answer a question/hold a bag! Really can’t recommend him highly enough. He also contacted us the day before to let us have his number and check we didn’t have any questions about what was happening the next day. That brings me on to organization which was flawless for us as well. We got our tickets online and everything was paid in advance (bar any shopping and food of course!). Ice contacted us the day before and was there waiting for us when we got into the lobby. It was a brilliant day - highly recommend this tour and Ice!
My partner and I had such a fun and amazing experience with Ice. We started our day at the salt farms and railway market, and then we headed over to the coconut sugar farm and floating market. Ice was very attentive. In fact, when we mentioned that we liked seafood, he even stopped at a popular seafood restaurant to introduce us to some new foods from the area. We felt like we were taken care of every step of the way. Ice took photos of us and shared unique tips and information about traveling in Thailand. I highly recommend this tour!
Thankyou Lin was absolutely amazing tour guide - it was my wife’s 50 birthday and she made it very special sat on our boat ride throughout the market and explained the village culture etc. even helped us barter the lower price . She is very special and extremely knowledgeable with outstanding service. Big thanks 🙏 xx I will recommend ❤️🙏
We tried all the delicious coconut products while learning all about the process at the coconut farm. We explored the railway market as well as the floating market. Very unique experiences that you will definitely remember for the rest of your life! Our tour guide named Lin was friendly and informative and guided us everywhere. She made us feel safe throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend Lin as a tour guide, and this tour!
Hey guys, my name's Wazzy. I'm with a few Sydney boys staying in Bangkok for a few days and we all really wanted to do the floating markets. We were worried about booking online but Chaiya turned out to be incredible. We've had a few bad tour guides where their English and attitude leaves a lot to be desired but Chaiya was great. He helped us buy things, made sure we didn't get ripped off, showed us all the sites, taught us about so much history and culture just off the top of his head, and above all else he had a great attitude. I should also mention he takes great photos. You can definitely tell he takes pride in it. Nailing all the angles, working our cameras without instructions, bloody hell he does it all. Happy to say that I would recommend Chaiya to anyone looking to do the floating markets or anything else he's in charge of. We'll be giving our "went above and beyond for us" tip.
We had a fantastic private trip to the markets and sugar and salt farms. Chaiya was very knowledgeable and told us much about the culture and history of Thailand. Would highly recommend!!
Our tour guide, Lin, was beyond exceptional. Prior to the tour pick up was coordinated flawlessly. After the seemless pickup, we were presented with the itinerary for the day, that included visiting the railway market, the floating market and a tour of a coconut farm. Along with the experience of visiting these 3 areas, Lin provided us with knowledge of Thai customs, the culture and history surrounding the areas we visited. Additionally, she assisted in helping us find the best places to take pictures to capture a digital memory to accompany the experiences we went through. I definitely recommend that if you're ever in Thailand, take a tour with Lin. I will be back!
We were picked up in an air conditioned van very early in the morning at 6am. Lin was exceptional well versed in her tour. She guided us through the train market, the floating market and made stops on the salt farm and coconut farms giving us history and explanations on how and when things developed. She kept us on schedule but also allowed for shopping and breaks in between stops. She also took many pictures for individual couples to have as keepsakes of our adventures. I definitely recommend this tour and Lin, especially for the bargain they offer.
Lin was wonderful! Such a great experience and guide! So much packed into one day, definitely recommend! 10 outta 10!
Tour was fantastic! Lin is a great guide and goes above to make your experience unique from the rest! Lin makes sure you get great pictures, and is great to have around when shopping . Lin is so kind and great personality!
Chaiya was an exceptional guide!!!! He took great care of me, helped me understand the culture, and never tired of my relentless questions. He helped me have many memorable experiences!! I feel like I had made a new friend.
Book it!! The entire experience with Lin was amazing!!! We got to see every place listed in the package. Kim was so caring, knowledgeable and fun!!
The trip was enjoyable and fun-filled. I particularly enjoyed the Rail market and coconut farm visits. Coconut farm was really interesting as i got to see how the coconut is utilised to make so many different kind of products for our everyday use and consumption. As for rail market, the concept of the market is simply very unique and traditional. Great tour that Lin brought us around.
Lin is such An amazing tour guide! Very friendly and knowledgeable ! Had a great time with the other guest as well!
Lin was superbly friendly. She kept us continuously entertained throughout the trip. Similarly, the trip covered quite a lot of areas such as the coconut farm and also the salt farm.

Pleasant tour guide. Longer lunch break will be good. Reasonable rates. Will recommend to others. Good job!
A wonderful, adventure outside Bangkok. Starting with a beautiful train ride and ending with a relaxing boat cruise through the floating markets.
Lin was a wonderful tour guide - Our tour was timed perfectly so that we were able to ride the train into the Maeklong station and also stand along the shops while the train left. It was the perfect experience and I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a guided tour through these quintessential bangkok experiences!
5 star experience! Excellent host and very friendly tour. Would recommend to anyone. Floating market was super fun.
