The whitish salt field, not a rice field, of course. A special bonus tour for our guests who join our floating and railway market tour in 2020. This sea salt is produced by Thai local wisdom. The salt farmer will rotate the sea water in different levels matching the strength of wind and sunlight. The rotation will continue until the salt becomes a “salt mountain” which are ready for cooking, skincare, and agriculture. On the Highway 35 in Samut Sakhorn province, our guide will lead you to rub the salt to your hand and take amazing photos!
The Railway Market is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! You will have fun riding a local train toward the Mae Klong station. While on this train, you will see the “Unseen-Thailand” experience. When the train signal rings up, the chaos will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stall and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all shop owners will resume their stalls again.
You will observe how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar and palm sugar loaf. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the coconut nectar into the drinkable one. You will try squeezing coconut milk from coconut shell using a traditional Thai “rabbit-teeth” wooden machine.
Roundtrip Transportation from Hotel to Market is total of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is among one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Motor boat rides are already included in your tour! Many Thai and foreign tourists come here to absorb the atmosphere of Thailand water markets that have been like this for over a 100 years. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle.
Erawan Waterfall is recognized as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. The major attraction of the park is the 7-tiered Erawan Falls with emerald green ponds. Erawan has seven separate tiers spanning approximately 1,500 meters through the thick rainforest of the park. The park are named after "Erawan", the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls is said to resemble an elephant head. Admission fee for foreigners are included in your tour.
Thanks to several films and books, the Bridge over the River Kwai has become famous and attracted both Thais and foreigners to the site. If an ordinary black iron bridge can tell a story, you can be sure it's a dramatic one. The bridge has steel plates over the ties to make it easy to walk over the span. There are also viewing platforms between the trestles to give you a view of the river as well as to give you a place to get out of the way if you're on the bridge when a train comes. You will have a delicious lunch at a raft restaurant near the River Kwai Bridge.
Our guide Jim and our driver Peter were excellent. We booked the standard tour and received luxury service. They made sure we were looked after and are genuine very nice people. We saw everything we wanted and were never pushed for time. Jim took heaps of photos which allowed us to experience everything without trying to takem ourselves. Highly recommended!
Fantastic day with a very busy itinerary as we chose the extended option to visit Erawan Falls and the Bridge over the River Kwai in the afternoon following the morning exploring the train and floating markets. Funnily enough the most simple experience during the day that of the coconut farm was one of the favourite things that my teenagers enjoyed the most, really interesting short stop here. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with Jim and Peter who took very great care of my family. Thank you.

Poppy is a gem! She communicated the night before to manage our expectations and we had so much fun today! She let us know which stalls were the most affordable at the railway market..we had coffee "Thong Muan” waiting on the train! The floating markets were cool to see and grab a snack. The journey to Erwan Waterfalls was long but absolutely beautiful. Poppy ensured we had what we needed and walked with me to fall 4! I was literally fighting for my life climbing the stairs. Awesome tour and experience…Poppy made it amazing 🤩

Very informative and interesting! I am not too crazy about the floating market, it it’s an interesting experience! It’s not very convenient to buy things because it is very crowded! But the other parts of the tour were great.
As a “lazy” traveller who has done zero preparation, I think it was great to hire a private tour. Everything was made simple. Our guide Chaiya knows all the great spots for taking photos :)
What an amazing day it was with Nok Jason & Big Boy. We knew this was a long day excursion and we worried but to be honest it was the best idea and excursion ever!!!! During our drives Nok will teach us the history of the beautiful city, culture and temples. As well as spoke to us about the history of Thailand. We got super super lucky for having Nok because he was Able to answer many questions we felt we didn’t know who to ask. I can’t pinch and point at one thing was my favorite because it’s in all bundle of experience. They made sure our time was right for each stop. If you ask my husband and I if we would do it again in a heart beat. Thank you Nok for your kindness and love for this beautiful country. You only made us fall more in love with Thailand.
It’s our first time in Thailand and we kicked off our first tour day with tour guide Nok Jason (man). Jason was amazing!! He was in communication with us the day before thru WhatsApp and the morning of. He’s very friendly, humorous, and accommodating to our needs- there we’re 6 of us. Jason was knowledgeable about the Thai culture. The tour itself felt like we were being guided by a friend, not a “tour guide”. He also took lots of IG worthy pictures of us! We’d recommend this tour to anyone with Nok Jason who’s visiting Thailand. Lastly, our driver was great and a safe driver in the busy traffic.

This experience was amazing!! Really loved it, we got to see the salt farm, a coconut farm and how the coconut sugar is produced, the railway market was pretty epic! We got to arrive by train, then walk around the market and then see the train take off and how all the vendors prepare for the passing of the train! The floating market was sooo pretty- highly recommend the coconut pancakes! Lin is such a great tour guide🥰
What a fantastic tour! Our tour guide was Lyn and our driver was Ole and they took us to some great spots (in a nice air conditioned van) so close to Bangkok. Salt farm, railway market, coconut farm & floating market, it was so easy to get to all four. Plus learn about the local history of the area and how locals live their daily lives. Lots of opportunity for shopping from shop owners who were all friendly. I recommend this tour to anyone looking for a day out of Bangkok who wants to see more of beautiful Thailand.

At first we were afraid it was going to be too expensive for what we were supposed to see, but it ended up being a really nice experience worth the money. A unique market experience. It’s truly a must-visit destination for first-time travellers exploring Bangkok. Here, you will be introduced to a rather special shopping scene along the railway.
