Itinerary
Wat Pho, also spelled Wat Po, is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is located on Rattanakosin Island, directly south of the Grand Palace. Known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, its official name is Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan
The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782. The king, his court, and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until 1925.
Wat Phra Kaew, commonly known in English as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and officially as Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram, is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. The Emerald Buddha housed in the temple is a potent religio-political symbol and the palladium of Thailand
Ta Tian Market is an immense fresh market place located by the riverside, opposite the white walls of Wat Pho. The market itself is easily missed by most visitors who often take a break at one of the charming little cafes under the arches of the Sino-Portuguese façades, and not many actually spot the small entrance right in the middle of this U-shaped heritage style building. This discreet door opens onto a short tunnel and beyond it, only the curious traveller would discover a gigantic and busy market sheltered under a very high ceiling. The place is more of a basic warehouse than a market, selling a huge array of dried sea products displayed in large sacks, wholesale cooking ingredients and all kinds of fresh products ranging from well known veggies to totally alien looking ingredients.

Lots of beautiful buildings and colours.. amazing history and guide that explains everything really well !!!’nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
This is the way to see the Grand Palace and Reclining Buddha. The crowds at those locations are no joke, so a knowledgeable guide and private vehicle allow for maximum flexibility and access. We were picked up from our hotel in a private car with driver and guide. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared information about the city of Bangkok, including restaurant recommendations and general information about the history of the city. He helped us navigate the crowded palace and explained the history of every sight. He was not able to accompany us into the reclining Buddha sanctuary, but directed us and met us outside when we were finished. At the end, we were driven back to our hotel for a comfortable, hassle-free end to a big day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our guide was so attentive and caring and very knowledgeable. Do not hesitate to choose Viator.
Eddie and his driver were very kind and helped us a lot because we needed to get back quickly to go to airport after the tour. We learned so much about Thai history and culture and didn't have to worry about finding the best spots ourselves. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone. My partner and I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks again Eddie :)
A wonderful, joy-filled day with Marie. She was very patient answering the many many many questions our son had about the statues, murals, everything. She explained the history in a way that was reverent, informative, and appropriate for his age. It was just a wonderful day and we’d do it again in a heartbeat.
We had Eddie as our guide who was very informative. It was nice to tour these very busy places with someone who knew where to go and what to see.
The tour guide Eddie was very friendly & knowledgeable about out tour & things I asked him about concerning the monarchy , King , Queen, kids school education when where & why GREAT TOUR AND GUIDE!!!!!😎
We did this tour through “ iasiatravel “ & our tour guide Eddy was Amazing ! He showed us all the sights & his English was great & understandable. We had a smashing afternoon with him .
We loved the size of our tour. We were a party of 10. Tour operator had divided us into two groups. Sak and Moon were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
Excellent tour with a lot of wonderful history and knowledge provided! Our guide was very nice and fun to talk with.
This tour is great for people looking to see the main sights of Bangkok - Grand Palace and two temples - in a short amount of time. We went in the afternoon and it was quite hot (thank goodness for an ice cream break). Our guide explained a lot about each place and Thai culture.
Tour guide is great. He arrived on time. He narrated historical facts well. He didn't hurry us and was in fact very supportive of us taking a lot of pictures of a lot of places. He also gave tips on where to go depending on what to buy. Vehicle used was air conditioned and comfortable. Great tour!
This tour showed us how and why Bangkok is different. Eddie, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable and she parsed us through huge crowds easily. This tourist a must- do not leave Bangkok without seeing these iconic places. Highly highly recommend
Our tour guide great. He explained the history of Thailand well and gave a great tour of the grand palace and reclining Buddha.
Learning about Thailand's history, Kings, architecture & Buddhism through an expert guide, Marie. So much better than wandering aimlessly
Eddy was a great tour guide! He’s like a history book in a human body. I learned a great deal about Thai history in relation to the monuments we saw. Definitely worth it!
We had a very intetesting tour. Our guide, Eddie, was very knowledgeable. He not only had extensive knowledge of the temples themselves but also pointed out places of interest during our trip to and from the temples. Even our transport was first class.
Our guide actually could speak English and understand very well - very knowledgeable and was always asking if we needed anything! Definitely enjoyed this tour!
Our tour guide, Marie was very pleasant and knowledgeable and shared her extensive knowledge. She made the tour interesting. It was also nice to be picked up at our hotel in an air-conditioned van.
What a wonderful way to tour the Palace and Buddha. Our guide was quite friendly and knowledgable. She provided hotel pick up which was most welcome. The crowds were large and there were many structures to see so it was nice to have private narrative and someone to help make the most of our visit. We were glad we booked this tour and would recommend.
The whole family really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Nok was very informative and funny. The place and its grounds are beautiful. She also took some beautiful photos for us at the palace. We were considering doing these attractions on our own but so glad we booked through iAsia Thailand.
Not worth it to go for this with guide. Because it is not worth it. Unnecessary talk and less seeing.
The tour guide was very kind and thorough. Enjoyed learning about the temples and landmarks. The architecture and various buildings are a photographer's delight!
Great value for money! What I like about this agency they are very customer driven. Booked the Grand Palace and received my vouchers almost immediately. Ms May emailed me to reconfirm and the driver and guide was on time and the tour around the palace was fantastic. This is the only travel agent I have ever known to have several direct lines without extension numbers or recordings with emails and an emergency number. That’s great service when you are travelling alone in another country. Big thanks to the manager Nick who also helped me find my glasses on the bus which I left.
You'll get plenty of it in this unique place! To do with a guide to understand the dimension and architecture. I recommend!
