Lin, our guide, and Kevin, our driver were always punctual and so friendly. The Kanchanaburi Safari was a hit with the family! Lin is also knowledgeable and gave us interesting historical facts during the car ride and at The River Kwai.

Erawan Waterfall is recognized as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. The major attraction of the park is the 7-tiered Erawan Falls with emerald green ponds. Erawan has seven separate tiers spanning approximately 1,500 meters through the thick rainforest of the park. The park are named after "Erawan", the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls is said to resemble an elephant head. Admission fee for foreigners are included in your tour.
Thanks to several films and books, the Bridge on the River Khwae has become famous and attracted both Thais and foreigners to the site. If an ordinary black iron bridge can tell a story, you can be sure it's a dramatic one. The bridge has steel plates over the ties to make it easy to walk over the span. There are also viewing platforms between the trestles to give you a view of the river as well as to give you a place to get out of the way if you're on the bridge when a train comes.
The name JEATH is derived from countries engaged in the WWII death railway construction from 1942 to 1945: Japan, England, America, Australia, Thailand and Holland. The JEATH museum displays photographs and illustrations narrating the living condition of prisoners of war (POWs) during that cruel time, some of which were donated by former POWs who survived. The museum building itself was also turned from the detention hut, used during that period.
Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram, or Wat Tai, is an old temple that is invaluable to the people of Kanchanaburi province. In ancient times, Thai army had gathered many soldiers who were overwhelmed to join the ceremony to set up a shrine to worship the superstitious guardian angel. Our travelers will enjoy 45-minute Thai-style, long-tailed boat ride from here to Wat Tham Khao Poon and savor beautiful scenery of River Kwai.
Wat Tham Khao Pun is a cave temple with a fun labyrinth of illuminated passageways. The marked trail is a bit of a squeeze in some places, but ducking beneath limestone protrusions to discover these subterranean shrines is a special experience that you can't miss it!
Chong Kai War Cemetery is your optional visit. You can tell your guide to visit this place if you are interested in Thai-Burma history. Situated only 2 kilometers south of town on the bank of the Kwai Noi River, the cemetery occupies the site of the Chong Kai which once was the prisoner of war camp. Its tranquility reminds the visitors of the war and its after-effects.

This tour was a great experience, Poppy was a friendly and helpful guide, and the destination was absolutely worth the drive. The Erawan waterfalls are a good hike and a good view, we had a tasty lunch and a fun trip on the river to finish the day.
Prepare to have a day full of adventure and sightseeing! Our group had an amazing experience all thanks to Adam and Peter
Great time from start to finish. It’s a good itinerary and the team is great making the experience that much better. Will recommend them in the future.
Great hike to seven waterfalls Take pictures hiking up Plenty of people and swimming on way down Hit all the sites on the way back to Bangkok The guide and driver were perfect
The Erawan waterfalls were really lovely to see and although there were other visitors as well, it wasn't crowded to point where you couldn't get nice pictures of just the falls or your group and the falls. Definitely a moderate hike from level 4 and up. Many many stairs, but worth it for the scenery. Although we didn't swim at the waterfall, we did dip our feet in the pools to have a little spa day with the local fish, recommended to us by our guide Adam. He made to take group photos for us at nice points as well. One other neat thing about the hike is that monkeys reside closer to the top area and they can get pretty close to you, not intentionally. After finishing at the top of the falls, we hiked back down to eat lunch at one of the restaurants, which was pretty delicious. From there, we went to a cave that now serves as more like a temple but used to be a hospital during a war. Pretty neat. Our guide gave us a little bit of history about the cave and the POW construction of the Thai-Burma railway before we headed off to take a boat ride down the River Kwai to the bridge that the railway goes through. We made it just in time to see the train pass by after walking the whole length so that was neat. Adam was an excellent guide for our trip, letting us set the pace for the hike up the waterfall tiers when it got much harder, along with encouragement to make it to the top. We got some breaks in between the long drives to get some snacks and drinks while our driver filled up the gas tank. Tony was a great driver, enough to lull us to sleep during the long rides between stops. I would definitely recommend this tour with our guide and driver for any groups and someone looking for a more private tour.
From start to finish it was an amazing day, so much in one day . Our guide Adam was very friendly and had great knowledge about everywhere we visited. The railway market and floating markets are crazy and fun. The waterfalls were lovely and very refreshing. The bridge was very interesting and a great way to finish the day. Our driver Tony was brilliant too.
Fantastic day and an amazing experience. Adam was very helpful and polite. It was a tough climb (family with kids) but the effort was worth it.
Adam did a good job moving us around and keeping us on time. He coordinated our travel and was informative. I would recommend him again.
Great day with ICE! He was very welcoming from the start. He made sure we had everything we needed all day. He gave us the history of each site and answered all of our questions. He is funny and personable and a joy to spend the day with. Even when the weather changed our plans, he made sure we had whatever we needed. It was a long day, but we were never rushed. Highly recommend!
Both Ice and the driver were very polite and helpful. Ice, the tour guide, told us a lot about the history of the places we visited and always in an engaging fashion. The views were amazing of course and the trek up the waterfall as well as the dip in the cool water were once in a lifetime experiences. Highly recommend!
Fantastic trip with Lin! She took care of us from beginning to end and was attentive to details of all my family of 5, including 3 kids ranging from 16 to 6 years old. We were well fed, well hydrated and well pampered throughout. Lin was also an exceptional photographer capturing great memories. Highly recommended.
This tour was AMAZING with Lin as the guide and Ole as the driver. Lin arrived super punctually to our hotel to pick us up. They took us to all the best spots and Lin was great explaining things to us and taking our pictures. We first went to the salt farm, then the railroad market by train, then the coconut farm, then took a long tail boat thru the floating market, and then went to Erawan National Park. We went to some super touristy places, but it felt like we got a really authentic experience that was much better than if we tried to do this trip by ourselves because Lin knew the best way to go. We had so much fun and I highly recommend this tour, it was absolutely incredible.
Best day trip from Bangkok! Why make Erawan and the floating market separate trips when you can do it all together?!? Lin and Ole were absolutely wonderful, and took us to all the best spots. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and guided us the whole trip! Must do experience if you’re looking for a private day trip!
The experiences were amazing, truly unique. Our guides Lin and Peter were exceptionally helpful in showing us around and providing us with a lot of information about the city. They also took fantastic pictures of us! We all loved every part of this tour.
I was guided by Nina and driven by Mr O, the car was excellent and the tour was well paced, it is well worth going to the top level of the falls, the view there is awesome. Nina was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The bridge and cemetery was eye opening, I highly recommend it.
Our tour guide Cat was fantastic very knowable and more than helpful to answer any questions . Peter the driver and Cat both went out of their way to make sure we were safe and comfortable all day .. totally recommend this tour .. 🙏
We had a wonderful day. Our guide Poppy and driver Ollie were so helpful, informative l and lovely. The waterfalls were beautiful. The private tour made it easy picked up and dropped back from our hotel. Thank-you to both Poppy and Olle for helping us create such wonderful memories
Jam packed day of exciting tours in nature and history. Our guide Nina was super attentive and organized making sure we saw all the waterfalls, river Kwai boat ride and walk over the famous bridge. Long day made effortless. Definitely advice all who can to take this tour!
Had a great, very easy trip to Erawan and the river Kwai. Our guide Lin was very helpful and informative, but was also happy to give us space to explore the falls at our own speed and in private. Having the private tour made everything so easy, picked up from our hotel and driven around by a lovely and safe driver, while Lin explained the tour to us, then left us to catch some sleep on the drive out to the first site. The falls themselves were beautiful and swimming was great. Exploring the Buddha caves was exciting and then visiting the bridge over the River Kwai and the boat trip down the river were real highligjts. There were no extra fees or entry fees to cover, as it is all included in the price, so it really couldn't have been any easier.
This was an amazing trip that exceeded our expectations! Our Tour Guide Poppy and Driver Peter were exceptionally excellent! They picked us up on time gave great pointers on the best shops locations to get pictures helped us bargain bought us snacks, and kept us safe. They were kind professional courteous engaging accommodating and were just great to hang out with. Poppy was Mother Sister Friend photographer and guide to all in our group. We got to see and interact with local people and support local businesses. She negotiated and translated for us every step of the way. We rode the railway train to the train market and got great bargins pictures and videos. The floating market was quite the experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. And the Erawan waterfall was delicious! Thanks Poppy and Peter for an excellent and amazing day. We highly recommend this tour and our Tour Guide Poppy and Driver Peter.
Bangkok was a blast, and it was all thanks to Lin! While our time was limited in Bangkok, Lin was able help us see all of the amazing sights near and far. We spent the day exploring the train market, the floating market, a gorgeous waterfall (inside an amazing national forest), and even the historical River Khwae Bridge. Lin was knowledgeable and able to answer my questions about historical sights and local customs, but also ensured we were well fed? Lin went above and beyond to ensure our experience was a wonderful one. I highly recommend you book your tour today and request Lin.
If I could give this review 6 stars I could. Got to visit the Erawan Falls. I had enough time to hike up to level 5 out of 7. We felt like VIPs. We look forward to doing a future tour when I am in Bangkok again. We went to a tiny museum to learn Thailand’s history, went to a death railway, and an optional skywalk tour. It was an amazing 13 hour tour for the money. I only wished I had water shoes to enjoy the Erawan falls more. Communication was done through Whats App and confirmation was done the night before the tour.
We had a wonderful time with Lin and Ole, they were so kind to us and accommodated all of our requests (even the extra Thai tea!). Highly recommend
Today was wonderful, Pop was a fantastic guide and asked us continually what we wanted to see, the train market is a must see and great fun… floating markets were interesting and the waterfalls were beautiful, although not keen on the steep steps… would definitely recommend the private trip as you can adjust time spent at each to suit you 🥰
We enjoyed every moment of this private tour. Our guide was incredibly generous with her knowledge of the country, history and culture. She was sensitive to our needs and made us very comfortable by keeping us aware of what event was next, what to expect and if we needed breaks etc. Definitely recommend her “Pops aka Poppy” and the driver operated the vehicle smoothly for and enjoyable ride.
This was a great trip from beginning to end! We spent the day with our guide Nok Jason and our driver Mr. Big Boy. They arrived on time to pick us up from our hotel. Both were very friendly and entertaining. Nok Jason’s English was excellent and he taught us so much about Kanchanaburi and the culture of Thailand. He also happens to be an awesome photographer. You can just take in the sights and he’ll make sure you go home with some great photos for your memories. The day ended with a trip to Erawan National Park for a hike and some swimming. Even on a Thailand holiday, the crowds weren’t too bad. There’s a rock water slide at one of the level of the falls that shouldn’t be missed. If your interested in soaking up some culture and history and having a bit of adventure, I 100% recommend this tour with Nok Jason and Mr. Big Boi.
We loved everything about this tour. Pop was fantastic! Pop adjusted everything based on what we wanted, great communication, explained what we needed and then left us alone to explore. I loved not having a guide hover all day. Our driver, Samran, was a great driver, very friendly and always giving us ice water and cold towels. We had a lot of laughs, learned a lot, and had so many unforgettable experiences. Everything was simple from the time I booked until we got dropped off at our hotel. Thank you for making our tour amazing.
I highly recommended this tour, because our guide (Mrs. Jirarot Sadab) did all for our lovely experiences. We could add the train ride and it was fantastic. Normaly you could do these tour in two separate group tour,in this tour is both and you save the time!
Erawan National park was very beautiful. Try to get to the park as early as possible it would be less crowded. I would recommend to go up to the 7th level because its a much smaller fall then go down and relax on level 3. Get your backpack with you to the top just incase. Then we went to the elephant sanctuary where we fed the elephant and gave her a bath then after that we went to the bridge overlooking the river where we saw the train pass. Many thanks to Nok our tour guide which speaks english fluently and the driver Mr. Peter who drove us around and came up with us to level 7 of the park.
Wonderful day trip with a very friendly & knowledgeable tour guide Mr. Nok Jason & driver Mr. Peter. We started the day at 6:30am, with a 3 hour drive to Erawan waterfalls where we had breakfast at the park and spent approximately 2.5 hours swimming and exploring the 7 tiers. We then headed to the elephant haven, about an hour away from the waterfalls, where we fed and cleaned the beautiful creatures. Our final stop was at the bridge overlooking the river. The tour is very well managed and both gentlemen did not hesitate to go the extra mile in terms of food stops, breaks, and providing additional knowledge on the Thai culture. Highly recommended!
We all had a lovely time on this day trip. It was good to get out of city for a day and enjoy the waterfall and River Kwai. It is a long drive from Bangkok, but there are interesting stops along the way, and the transportation was a luxury bus with great air-conditioning and experienced driver. Our tour guide, Pop, was friendly and gracious. A lot of fun things to see. The waterfall was beautiful and swimming is permitted and I would highly recommend it. The water is cold - perfect for cooling off. It is a long hike to the falls, but you can have someone drive you to and from in a golf cart if you don’t want to walk. Great tour. Highly recommend.
This was a really enjoyable day. Pop our guide was attentive to our needs and gave us the time we needed at each attraction.
We had a lovely time with bop and the driver! We started our day with a coffee stop, then railway market, then spontaneous elephant rides, then coconut and salt farms, followed by floating markets and the waterfall Swim. Bop was super accomodating for the 14 year old and 10 year old. So highly recommend it. It is a long day but worth it. Just ask bop to stop for extra snacks. :) Thank you
Driver and guides were awesome! Falls were beautiful and refreshingly cold. All the War stops and information was educational; I didn't know most of it. My sister and I had a great time! I would 100% recommend.
i loved this tour. guide Lan helped us at all times very sweet and attentive. I recommend. the lunch the guide chose was also enjoyed. We would come back again. The driver was attentive and helpful. I recommend to everyone. it's really worth it. it was the best tour in bangok
Lin was amazing! Her knowledge was great and enthusiasm was infectious. Highly recommend. Bridge over the River Kwai from a boat and the waterfall are musts while in Thailand.
Lin was awesome. She offered interesting facts and walked us through every step of what we would be doing. She went above and beyond to make the day fun.
Lin our tour guide was outstanding!!! ❤️ Thank you Lin for an awesome day. Overall experience was great I’ll definitely come for a swim next time
The waterfalls were more of an afterthought, but they were great. We were surprised about the train market as well. Lin was a great tour guide.
Lin and the drivers were very professional. Lin was very knowledgeable with every stop we made. She was very helpful taking care of our needs and photographs. A wonderful experience and tour.
Lin was an amazing tour guide- Erawan waterfalls, floating market and Risky train station was amazing unique experiences..
This tour is a must. If you’re in the Bangkok area for any length of time, make sure you get Lin to show you around. She’s extremely knowledgeable and will take great care of you. The air conditioned coach was also nice and comfortable. Highly recommend!
Cannot recommend this tour enough. Lin was a welcoming and knowledgable guide, who helped make the day amazing. Really enjoyed Erawan waterfall… definitely worth the climb for the views alone!
Everything was amazing! Lin our tour guide answered all our questions and took us to the disappearing market, floating market, and coconut farm. We went to Erawan falls, but because of the heavy rain most of the hike was blocked off (after the 2nd waterfall) and swimming was not allowed. She instead adjusted the schedule to take us to skywalk. She made sure we had enough food/water the entire trip and bathroom breaks. She’s also an expert of taking photos for us. Olay (our driver) is a great, safe, and fast plus the AC is a lifesaver.
We had Lin and Olay as our personal tour guide and driver respectively for an entire day! Lin is very knowledgeable about all the areas and super friendly. The railway market was super cool, saw the locals scrambling to remove their stuff when the train left. It did rain hard unfortunately so the Erawan Falls were closed off, but Lin helped us replan on the spot and see the Skywalk in Kanchanaburi instead! Highly recommend for your Bangkok tour.
Lin was great - communicated with us early about the pickup and made the trip so fun! She was filled with good information about the history and showing us around. She was helpful throughout the trip every step of the way. Highly recommend.
Our favourite part of this tour was ALL OF IT !! Lin our guide was an absolute delight and went out of her way to ensure my daughter and I had a day to always remember. Lin was prompt with communication after our booking and was clear in all details relating to the tour. She took loads of extra photos for us and spoilt us with little extras during the day. I highly recommend using Lin as your guide. SIX STARS🌟
We had an amazing day and went to many wonderful locations. Lin was amazing & went above and beyond to cater for us. 10/10 would recommend doing this tour and Lin as a guide.
Very nice tour, Lin was a very good guide for my entire day trip. I will certainly go with her again.
