Itinerary
After your pickup from your Bangkok hotel, head to the docks where your boat awaits to whisk you down the Chao Phraya River. Gather with the other guests around the buffet of mouthwatering dishes and help yourself to whatever catches your eye.
Settle down to your meal as a violinist and saxophonist pour their souls into weaving tunes that lift your spirit and set the mood for your evening. Hear classic jazz music as well as popular 80s and 90s music that make for a jovial, foot-tapping atmosphere. If you feel inspired to dance, hit the dance floor and twirl your partner to the rhythm of the music. Pass by an illuminated Bangkok, which is simply mesmerizing with its glimmering lights that dance on the water's surface, and see ancient temples such as Wat Arun, known also as the Temple of Dawn. Chao Phraya is as iconic to Bangkok as the Seine is to Paris or the Thames is to London and it winds its way by the city's best sights. From your vantage point, you can see the Grand Palace, Thammasat University, and the chain-stayed Rama VIII Bridge. Snap photos to remember your scenic, festive adventure, and then disembark the ship for your convenient transfer back to your hotel.

The cruise itself was really nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The singer was very good and lively. The food was terrible. No words to describe how bad. We had a private driver to and from the pier and he was awesome.
Wonderful evening cruise with great food and entertainment. Cruise by lit up bridge, temples and other buildings . My pick up was late 45 minutes but the traffic was bad that night. Safe transport to and from dockside.
The cruise itself. The band and dancing was great and enjoyed by a number of passengers. The boarding was not very smooth and it was extremely helpful to have a guide to get our boarding pass. Seemed like a overly complicated process.
We booked Chaophraya Princess Thai+International dinner cruise thru ticket2attraction site. We opted for Upper deck with roof & to/from transfer hotel to cruise. Prepaid booking was smooth & we got to know later that our boarding pier has changed from Iconsiam pier to Asiatique pier. Read reviews in TA that the boarding is very poor & rushing, but our experience of boarding from Asiatique pier was quite good. Upon reaching pier, we got vouchers redeemed to boarding tickets from counter & they additionally gave us stickers to stick on our t shirts for immediate identification. All travellers opting for Indian cuisine were sent to Ground Floor deck & international cuisine to upper deck. We were given deck front table where we enjoyed both being under roof & open deck also. Only trouble was the loud live music which was at open deck area. Buffet started as soon as vessel left pier. There was some initial rush for food but we waited to clear the rush. The staffs were very prompt in refilling food & calmly took our food. Food can't be rated 5/5 but I will rate it average 3/5. They gave us welcome drink (fruit juice) also. The live band Female singer was good & tried her best to entertain the passengers. By God's grace there was no rain during the 2 hour cruise & we enjoyed the enlightened Bangkok from river. Rama 8 Bridge, Wat Arun, Grand Palace etc were all illuminated in night & really viewable. The smokers had to go to the rear of the vessel for open air smoking. Toilets were ok. Overall one should not miss this cruise while in Bangkok. We booked return van in our package & had the peace of worry free pickup & drop. We got a discount from ticket2attraction & it costed us approx 1248 Thai Baht per person incl transport.
The views of Bangkok at night were amazing especially the big landmark buildings. The Wat Arun at night is something not to be missed especially from the cruise . Food served was excellent. However there needs to be better crowd management at the time of boarding. The staff of the cruise were not guiding the customers properly in view of multiple cruise operations from the same jetty
The escorts service was phenomenal and delivered us to our locations precisely! Cruise was fun and meals great. Only con was long lines.
It was great activity Especially pick up and drop service was awesome! I strongly recommended it! My driver was good guy also I remember his name was ssanti (?) or something similar haha. I thank to him also.
Great views, comfortable trip. Private pick up and drop off was excellent, clean and well Organised.
Imagine a relaxing cruise with hot, delicious food and ambient lighting. This was quite seriously the complete opposite of that. Obnoxious (and not to mention terrible) singing to songs such as love me like you do and Gangnam Style, as well as cold, what tasted like day old food. This is just a critique on Thailand in general but the drinks were far too sweet and the desserts tasted packaged. I was overwhelmed and extremely annoyed by the horrid singing so I decided to go outside and look at the view when what do you know, more awful singing coming from upstairs. I could probably put the rest of the bad details to the side if the singing wasn’t so horrible, but the speakers were blasting, and the Christmas carols a week after the holiday didn’t make it much better. Wouldn’t come back even if I was paid a million bucks. Should probably use that money on some singing lessons for that lady instead.
booked via trip advisor, and not the experience I expected. Picked up by minivan, then driven around Bangkok, and ended up spending 25 mins in a underground car park, with the driver looking for a parking space, then guided through a shopping centre with the guy not seeming to know where he was going, and eventually left at the cruise office. you'd be better off booking direct and getting a taxi
The cruise was amazing! I went solo, I was seated in the front of the cruise on the upper deck. The employees were very nice and pleasant. We saw many temples in Thailand and even got to experience fireworks as well.
We were sat downstairs for dinner so we weren't able to see the sunset or most of the sightseeing. However there was entertainment on both levels, both amazing. After dinner we asked to move upstairs and there were plenty of empty tables so we took our bottle of wine and were able to enjoy all the beauty of Bangkok at night once we moved upstairs. We wish it was an hour longer, but i guess thats the sign of a good tour! We weren't ready for it to end. My only advice would be to be aware that half the people sit downstairs and miss the sunset so pick a smaller cruise or run upstairs if you don't want to miss the sunset.
This was 2 hour cruise with buffet dinner. We opted cruise with Indian Dinner. Cruise was very good with live music and option to dance. Cruise started from IconSiam Mall, where you can watch musical fountain too. Overall good cruise.
Two hours of great experience with a nice dinner for my family. My kids enjoyed the nice view with the breeze, music, dancing and the food. The view of Wat Pho, Wat Arun and the Grand Palace was great.
The driver was completely reckless and aggressive and was extremely rude. The ticketing staff were just as unhelpful. The cruise itself was very disappointing as it is tables cramped together on the deck and most couples cannot get a seat by the side of the boat. Would not recommend to anyone.
Nice river cruise with kind and accommodating staff. Very satisfied with service and enjoyed the experience.
Had such a great night on this dinner cruise! The food is good but my favorite was definitely dessert. The singer and the saxophone player are what really make this cruise awesome. The sax player, plays beautifully and the singer really makes the place turn up lol and she has an amazing voice.
Really well organised. Buffet style dinner, lots of choice and very tasty. Exceptional help from Nun who found my wife’s wrap for her and was very pleasant. The band were very good, sang a variety of ‘get you up dancing’ songs. Good night had by all.
The cruise we are on named “Alangka Cruise” we take the dinner buffet cruise. There are live music with great music also some local Thai dance. The buffet food was amazing has shrimp, mussel, Han, sushi, and lots of Thai local flavor . The entire cruise was 2 hr. Great experiences in Bangkok.
A bit crowded but nice boat, good music and excellent customer serivce. Trip is a bit short for a dinner and enjoying outside i think
I was hoping it to be a relaxing and breezy candle light dinner ,it's more like a loud bar. live jazz music (for 5 minutes ) then comes the Indian songs (loud and obnoxious whistles) , can't see much heritages along the river from the lower deck (wasn't given an option to choose upper deck ) , not an authentic Indian food either (poor tasting and toned down ) followed by religious chants at the end. Not a romantic experience I had hoped it to be ... I had the package that included the Indian buffet .
First time on a river night cruise in Bangkok. The outing was overall OK. Food buffet was fine but I suggest waiting until the Chinese tour groups get their food and be seated first. Apparently some cultures do NOT grasp the concept of standing in line and and waiting for one's turn. The music was not bad at all.
1st family trip to Bangkok. Excellent service. Nice music and food. 3hrs trip with wonderful view along Chao Phraya river.
Food was nothing special. I would recommend a night tour instead of a dinner cruise. You could see a lot of bangkok with the night tour and you would have better food than on the cruise.
I booked front deck. The view was very good. Nice staff and nice classic jazz music, good service for staff. Recommended.
Excellent cruise, pickup and drop off staff very helpful.Live music added to the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Great walk, Bangkok by night is amazing. This cruise with a buffet on the Chao Phraya River remains a fabulous moment. The service and the staff on board were incredible. I would come back, for sure 😉
It was an unforgettable experience, plus we had the fortune of experiencing the Chinese New Year, the year of the dragon, highly recommended
The dinner itself was nice, but simple and nothing exceptional was organized to impress the participants. Stops in front of the most symbolic buildings forget them, the ferry travels fast enough. But the most important thing is that you should NOT trust their transfers: from our experience we were 40min in the lobby of the Hotel waiting, so much so that by now we were convinced we had taken a bin, and since we went up there was to run (my girlfriend in heels and well dressed for the evening) and our transport did not know where we were going, making us run left and right throughout the boarding center, between clubs and stalls and confusion, NOT TO END UP RETURNING, ABOUT 23:00 OUR TRANSFER WAS NOT PRESENT AT THE MEETING POINT AND WE HAD TO ORGANIZE THE RETURN ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF A CITY LIKE BANGKOK!!! there are many of these guided tours, choose another agency.
