Erawan park is incredible. Highly recommend. Jack was a great guide
I can’t recommend this tour more! After a few days in the hustle and bustle of Bangkok it was lovely to get out into the Thai country side and see gorgeous nature. Erawan falls was truly stunning and it’s something you shouldn’t miss while in Thailand
Really good place to visit. I recomended. People are really nice
Guide Angie is a professional. She was so funny and intelligent. She understands the culture & made the tour very interesting and easy to understand. Loved the experience.
The trip to Erawan Falls was amazing. I had a great time hiking and swimming at the falls. The hike was relatively easy. Our guide Angie was very good and gave a lot of historical details about Thailand.
This was a great time. Ohm was my guide, he was knowledgeable and made everything easy and fun— 10/10.
Our tour guide jacky33bkk was grate. Very nice and informative. Would highly recommend this tour. The waterfalls were beautiful and really refreshing to swim in.
The tour was very nice, long drive in a mini van. There were eight on our tour. Tour guide, Chayada was very sweet and took good care of us. If you climb all the way to the 7th waterfall, it can take 1.5 hours each way with very steep inclines. It can get slippery when wet! Lunch was very good and inexpensive. The skywalk was unique. Would have liked to spend more time at the cemetery but it was very hot today. With chayada’s limted English, it made it difficult to ask questions.
Erawan national park is truely great, kids and parents love it!
When I originally booked the tour, the itinerary was slightly different and I was unaware of the changes so spent much of the day a little confused. The guide didn’t clearly communicate what we were doing or when we needed to be back by, which made the day a bit stressful. The tour began with a photo opportunity up on the Kanchaburi Skywalk, which was a new addition to the itinerary. It felt more like a Sky-rush though because we only had 15 minutes. We then went to the war cemetery, rather than the Jeath museum. The cemetery is worth a look, and the graves are beautifully maintained and reserved. But I was really looking forward to some history in a museum. Next we went to the bridge over the river Kwai. This was confusing. Initially the guide said 15 minutes, so we made sure to be back within 15 minutes. When we returned, the guide said “no, it’s 1 and 15. Go, enjoy some shopping!” So I thought I had misheard initially when he said am1hr15… 20 minutes later, he came over to yell at us because the group was waiting for us to be able to leave. As for the actual part of the day we were there for, the National park was absolutely beautiful. Though tourists need to be aware there isn’t a single establishment there that accepts card payments. The information center and souvenir shop, all the restaurants etc are cash only. To swim, you need to pay 20thb to rent a life jacket, and there is a 100thb deposit for a locker. Once you’re away from the absolute chaos that is the rental desk and pool 1, the park is breathtakingly beautiful. I wish we had gone there significantly earlier because we only had 3 hours there. The additions of the morning were a bit meh and it would have been more enjoyable if we had more time at erawan falls.
Overall it’s an experience that needs to improve. The pick up was one hour late and then we had to move the entire schedule; this is understandable, things can happen but still the agency needs a plan B. But then, during the trip, the guide left us most of the time to walk by ourselves. I was expecting more information, guidance, accompaniment with interesting facts. The driver also had a dangerous driving checking regularly his phone and the guide did not do anything about it.
It was a beautiful hike and the waterfalls are so refreshing! Ohm… is an amazing guide. 10/10 So worth it! :)
I really enjoyed learning about the Bridge and dispelling the movie version. The falls were great- swimming in the pools was very relaxing. The bus and tour guide were very good.
You should be fairly fit. Bring a small towel or change of clothes. Good shoes, maybe an umbrella in the rainy season or to keep the sun off.
We had a nice day out and enjoyed the experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly making for a great experience.
It was wonderful. Our tour guide Rach was very friendly and gave us so much information.
Enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend both sites.
Great waterfalls. Not too strenuous
Be aware this is not a curated tour. You are taken with a lovely guide and AC minibus to Museum, shown the bridge and taken to the waterfall. So read up before you go - lots to see around the river relating to the Bridge & WW11. Hotel Pick Up - check whether your hotel is in the pick zone. I had to “fight” to get a refund on my hotel pick up. 5stars for our lateral thinking guide and Driver. One star to the Tour Organiser.
I really enjoyed the time with pop he such a good tour guide definitely recommended when come to here!
Fastastic Guide. Well planned. Good group. The destination was good for a 1 day gateaway from the city. Guide knew exactly what kept the group charged the whole day.
Great experience!! Lots of fun would be recommended for family or solo traveling
Nancy is a super guide and Ticky an excellent and friendly driver. On time. Professional service.
The seven-tiered waterfall is pure paradise, with lush jungle trails, crystal-clear turquoise pools, and incredible natural scenery at every turn. What truly made the day so memorable, though, was our tour guide Jack. He was knowledgeable, polite and friendly, He shared fascinating insights about the park's wildlife and history. Everything was effortlessly organized and packed with cultural nuggets of information, making it an absolute highlight of our travel. A huge thanks to Jack for being such an amazing guide and making it an unforgettable day.

A great tour, something very different than shopping markets. Spending the morning learning the history of WWII POW camps, going up the river in a long boat, walking across the River Kwai bridge and then expirencing the train cross only millimetres past you. We then had a great lunch before heading off on the Seven waterfalls that was a walk with lots of steps but beautiful scenery and wildlife including various monkeys🐒 Definitely worth the trip to explore another side of this amazing country, culture and people. Our guide "Thai" and the driver were great, pointing out some local tips and tricks that made this an amazing tour.
To be honest, I was not keen on the trip because I wanted to go straight to the waterfall.. but the guide and group dynamics was superb. Kevin ensures the other stops were informative, organized and timely so we can spend the bulk of our time was spent at the waterfalls. Highly recommend for a chill experience with plenty of free time to explore on your own.
Rach was a fantastic tour guide who knew the history of the railway over the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi inside and out. He really brought the past alive making this trip meaningful and educational. At Erawan National Park and waterfall, Rach guided us through getting food before the waterfall and helped frt a locker for our items. He explained the waterfalls and how to time our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend Rach.
This was an excellent day trip, so easy to book and arrange. The falls were stunning, the history and kwai bridge was so so interesting, and our guide Rach was amazing. Could not fault him at all. Would definitely book again
Had a fantastic time on this tour! Rach was an excellent guide, you can really tell he’s been doing this for years. His knowledge of the war history was incredibly detailed and kept us engaged the whole time. Highly recommend!
Great trip! We really enjoyed the bridge and the trip to the waterfalls. We enjoyed the drive in the countryside as well. A little reprieve from the city. The guide was very pleasant and informative, we appreciated him.
I almost skipped this tour, and I'm so glad I didn't. Every level of Erawan Falls had its own character, and the water was unbelievably clear. The itinerary never felt rushed, which made the whole xp relaxing instead of exhausting. A perfect escape from the city.
War museum was not very good, would be better to eat lunch at River Kwai as options by the time we got to Erawan Falls were limited.
Eddy was absolut fabulos! We really enjoyed the time with him and he was very helpful and funny!
I had a great experience with Eddy he was extremely helpful! I recommend this activity! It was amazing!
We had a wonderful day with our tour guide, Rach! On the way to the JEATH Museum, he provided excellent historical background. Although the museum is small, Rach guided us through everything, explaining what we were seeing and answering questions. Our next stop was the Bridge over the River Kwai. Once again, Rach did an excellent job explaining the site's history and significance. He also helped us take some great photos. The final stop was Erawan Waterfalls, where we had about four hours to hike and explore. Rach accompanied us up to the fourth waterfall. After that, he explained the remaining levels so we knew what to expect as we continued our hike. Lockers were available at Level 2 for storing bags. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend Rach to anyone!
This was an amazing trip with plenty of time to hike to stage 7.Note that it is a pretty steep hike in several locations, but we'll worth the effort. I would have liked to have had more time at the Kwai River bridge, but that would be my only negative. This trip is well worth taking and Bond was a fun and entertaining guide and made the experience enjoyable.
(TLDR: Accommodating, kind guide. Museum: small but good to get some history. Bridge: nice for pictures with a small market. Lunch: very good, enough time. Erawan: beautiful! Overall: very good value for money, well worth it! Pop was our guide, and he was fabulous! He had a strong no man left behin attitude, was accommodating, friendly, and made sure to keep to schedule! So glad I booked it, you really get your moneys worth! The museum was okay, but most of the artefacts were not clearly labelled. They are all pretty self explanatory, but you dont have any plachards with origins of them to read! There was a corridor of art and pictures with captioned descriptions. As the guide was not speaking in his first language, there wasnt too much detail in the history, but I undstood him throughout and do not feel hard done by at all. I understood him throughout, and we were given a small booklet that outlines the basic timeline anyway too! The brige was really nice to see, a good photo opportunity for those inclined, and there was a local market there when I went (Friday) The lunch was so, so good, at a restaurant from Pop's recommendation. Portion sizes were extremely generous and food was excellent, well worth the money! The main reason I booked this, and most other people would, was for Erawan, which was beautiful! Not too busy, so not to claustrophobic in the water. Didnt manage to get all the way up because we ran out of time, but still a great experience. Would recommend walking all the way up to the 7th waterfall first, if that is what you want to do, so you dont lose track of time in the water like we did!
This a must do experience. Not only did the tour guide Kevin & Mr Ung provide a really good insight to the Thai history during WW2, Erawan Falls was amazing. I should note that the falls can be done by anyone, however if you want to go up to the top, then you need to be fit as there are a lot of step, some that are slightly higher than others. You also need to pay to bring plastic bottles in (from level 2), though you do get your money back when you go back down. It's also good to pack light, as they do have small lockers to hire for a fee (cash only). For the falls, you can go up as far as you can & it's worth hiring a life jacket for 20 baht to swim. A heads up also that there are small to large Mahseer fish that will come nibbling at your feet (mainly to eat the dead skin). It can be overwhelming at first, however once you get used to it, you can swim out and even climb on the rocks/get some really good photos. The only other thing to note - make sure those travelling with you know what the pick up & departure times are, as it is a long drive back to Bangkok and 2x we had to wait for 1 person to both return from the falls and later decide to get a coffee, when we were told strictly the last stop before returning was a toilet only break.
I thought the guide Ernie was organized, helpful and considerate — all the things I want in a guide. I lowered the overall grade to 4 because I found his explanations of sights hard to understand and rather repetetive.
First, a sobering trip to the Bridge On the River Kwai Museum and then lots of fun hiking and swimming at each of the 7 waterfalls at the Erawan National Park. While in the Bangkok area, make sure you do this tour. You wont regret it and the guide, Rach was wonderful. He knew alot of the history and was very attentive.
Prakadkiet (Jack) was a fantastic guide. He was personable and knowledgeable, giving us background on our locations, helping to introduce other members of the tour, and sharing thoughts on other places to experience. He also provided excellent tips on what to see and eat after the excursion. His pleasant nature made this trip very enjoyable. Our journey was timed perfectly, first visiting the JEATH museum to learn some history, then the bridge over the river Kwae, and finally Erawan park (after we had a delicious lunch). We dodged large crowds and luckily seemed to miss most traffic. It rained a bit making the trip a bit muddy, but the 7 stage waterfall was worth seeing. We went to the 7th fall for some wadding, but in hindsight it probably would have been less crowded to swim at 5 or 6. The trip takes all day from Bangkok with Erawan being about 3 hours, but the way out is broken up a bit with the museum and bridge visit. Jack made sure to make a stop as well for bathroom a break opportunity. Overall, a great tour and worthwhile adventure if you like getting away from the hustle of Bangkok for a day!
An excellent - and tired - day with history, culture and sport
Wear good walking shoes because if you plan to go to all of the waterfalls, there’s a lot of walking & a lot of stairs involved. I would recommend getting there early so that you have time to actually swim and see all 7 waterfalls.
Wasn’t actually able to make it because the meeting point instructions where not clear and the guide could not explain properly on the phone. So I just wasted money, time and the mood was ruined.
Angie was an excellent guide for our day trip to the River Khwae Bridge and Erawan Falls. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the day, always making sure I was enjoying the experience and had everything I needed. The falls were absolutely amazing and a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend!
The war museum is a lot of photographs but we took a boat to the bridge which was an extra 200THB. You don’t have to take the boat if you don’t want to. We walked along the bridge which is a little scary if you’re scared of heights because you can see through to the river in some spots. The waterfalls are amazing! The climb is HARD i can’t lie but swimming in the waters is an amazing experience. There are fish in the water that do nibble a little but if you keep moving they don’t come near you. There are changing facilities and loos there too. You do have to carry a life jacket up with you if you’re planning on swimming! Food is also provided at your own cost but the food was really good too! Would definitely recommend
The whole experience was quite good. Communication was very fast and pronpt, as fires had started tge day before our tour and changes needed to be made. Emails was sent immediately with options. I did note however, I recieved all emails sent to assumingly the other guests - their names and email address were delivered. So privacy could be a concern to people. However it didnt bother us. The next day, the original tour went ahead as planned, as the fires stopped. Again, Communication was good. The river Kwai was magnificent and eerie. The JEATH museum was worthy but macabre. The national park and waterfalls were wonderful. But a little off putting when we were told that we had to wear life jackets for a swim... very odd. Was only 20 baht for 2 hrs, but you had to use them if you wanted to swim. That info would have been appreciated prior to getting there. The day was long - very long. Long hrs and distances in the bus between places. Iur fay started at meeting at MBK at 6:45am, and I think we arrived back in Bangkok around 7:30-8pm - which is what was described in the tour. We did our tour in April - the hottest month of the year. The guide was helpful with telling us times and where to meet etc, but didnt add anything to the experience like other guides do. The bus was very comfy with good air-conditioning. Was it worth it? Yes. Would I do it again? No. Definitely not in April at 37° and 80% humidity.
The waterfalls were beautiful. The first level was a little crowded but the top had less people. Our tour guide Mr Thai was friendly, responsive, and caring.
