We've had a lovely morning and afternoon with Tom, our local guide. We did the 5 hour tour, and he took great care of us. He really had a lot to tell about the city and he took us to some really nice authentic peacefull streets and temples. He made sure traffic would let us cross streets safely aswell. And took us to a very local spot on the water, for some local food. Also the transition to the longtail boot was very smooth. So all in all we are very happy that we booked this biketour.

Itinerary
Our first taste of real Bangkok life. Wat Klang is a working neighbourhood fresh market — trays of river fish on ice, mountains of chillies and lemongrass, Nothing here is arranged for visitors. We ride/walk through slowly so you can see, smell and photograph a market that has fed this community for generations, and your guide will point out the stranger things on the stalls.
A quiet local temple with an unusual guardian: a towering black statue of Phra Rahu, the Hindu-Thai deity who swallows the sun and moon during an eclipse. Thais come here to turn bad luck around, leaving offerings that must all be black — black sticky rice, black jelly, black coffee, even black soft drinks. Your guide explains who Rahu is, why Wednesday night is his night, and how to make an offering yourself.
One of Bangkok's most striking sights, and still mostly unknown to visitors. A 69-metre bronze Buddha sits above the temple grounds, visible from streets away. Inside the white pagoda beneath it, an emerald-green glass stupa glows under a ceiling painted with the cosmos — one of the most photographed interiors in the city. This is also the home temple of Thailand's Dhammakaya meditation tradition.
We leave the streets behind and ride a narrow concrete path through land most people cannot believe still exists in Bangkok: banana and coconut groves, vegetable plots, fish ponds, birds instead of engines. We pause at a small family shop for a cold drink and a rest in the shade — a good moment to talk to your guide about life out here, and how long this green belt has left. Local Thai restaurant, Thonburi, Bangkok Around 1pm we stop for lunch at a family-run restaurant where local residents eat. Honest Thai cooking, freshly made, served the way it is served to Thai customers — not a tourist buffet. Vegetarian and other dietary needs can be arranged if you tell us when you book. Time to sit, cool down and eat properly before the second half of the day.
Longtail Boat Canal Cruise – Discover Bangkok’s Hidden Waterways (Klongs) The bikes come aboard and we set off by traditional long-tail boat down the Dao Khanong canal. Wooden houses lean over the water, temple piers slide past, laundry hangs from balconies and neighbours wave as the long propeller shaft churns behind us. Then the canal opens out onto the Chao Phraya — the river Bangkok was built on — and you see the city from the water, the way it was always meant to be seen.
We come ashore at Wat Intharam, the royal temple of King Taksin the Great, who rebuilt Siam after the fall of Ayutthaya and made Thonburi his capital. His stupa still stands here, in a temple that almost no visitor finds. From here it is a short, flat ride back to our shop. Note: the canal is controlled by a water gate. If the gate is closed on the day, we come ashore instead at the Santa Cruz pier in Kudi Chin — the 250-year-old Portuguese Catholic quarter, with its riverside church and famous Thai-Portuguese cakes — and cycle home from there. Either way you end the day with a story most visitors to Bangkok never hear.

Our tour was wonderful and very informative. We saw a side of Bangkok that we would not have seen otherwise. Coco was very thorough in his narrative of the neighborhoods that we rode through and the temples that we stopped at. We had a very enjoyable lunch along the canal, the family had the cutest little boy who was very proud of his stuffed animal that he wanted us all to boop.
Really enjoyed it - a really special slice of Bangkok
Brilliant way to avoid the tourist crowds and see some of the real Bangkok! Glad we did the early start to avoid the worst of the heat. We had comfortable bikes, flat routes, a knowledgable guide, authentic local boat, yummy lunch, saw fish and birds and monitor lizards! Thank you!
This is an immersive, cultural experience like no other. Our guide, Guitar, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She lead us through the lesser known parts of Bangkok with rich history and character. We spent time on the canals where the old town was first established. We were then taken to a quiet, hidden gem for lunch and refreshments. An awesome experience and a definite must to add to your Bangkok activities list

Had a wonderful day with our friendly and knowledgeable guide Guitar. It was just our family who had booked, so it was extra luxurious to have a guide just for the four of us. Cycled through little backstreets, stopped at temples and for a delicious and abundant lunch, and the boat trip was also really fun as we got to see a different side to the city, going out past floating houses and away from the tourists to a banana plantation. Also spotted lots of big monitor lizards. People were overwhelmingly friendly. Nice bikes to ride too. We booked directly via the website.
My family loved seeing more of Bangkok and learning the history of the Riverside area. The bikes were great and our guide was friendly and helpful. Seeing the monitor lizards and feeding the fish were a highlight!
Would highly recommend this bike tour Great for all ages. No hills ,flat all the way. The boat ride was awesome to. Get to see the old part of Bangkok. We went to the floating market for lunch afterwards. The food was amazing!
Excellent tour guide. A fantastic way to see local life in Bangkok. Absolutely loved this tour. We would recommend it to anybody. Tommy is an absolute gem of a guide. You’re lucky you found this one.
Prayut is a great guy and a great guide. By far the best bike experience I've had in Bangkok so far. I really liked the route we took that allowed us to see many different faces of Bangkok.
An excellent tour around the back streets of Bangkok. Had various stops off at points of interest and markets and had an introduction into local cuisine. The best thing we did while Bangkok and guide was great. The bikes are new and felt safe along the whole journey using 98% of local alleys. A great afternoon seeing the “real” Bangkok
Great boat trip and bike ride through the local areas of Bangkok. Real insight into actual life in the city. Stopped for local snacks on the way which were also lovely. All round great day.
Great way to get to know the non-touristic, genuine and local Bangkok. Traffic is not an issue cuz the guide takes you to cute little side roads, that you wouldn't find by yourself.
Really nice and cool tour guide with a lot of stories about the area and history. The tour was really cool, in the small alleys of Bangkok with all the colors and people :) would do it again!
My wife (68 years old) and I (72 years old) gained an outstanding insight into the lives and surroundings of the people outside the tourist part of Bangkok through this highly interesting combined bicycle and boat tour with lunch. It was a relaxed tour tailored to us with various stops as well as good explanations of the sights. Koko is very thoughtful, friendly, and we felt well taken care of by him. The tour is absolutely worth the money.
Excellent choice to get to know a typical Bangkok neighborhood with local people. We appreciate cycling to feel some air. Both the boat and bike tour have delighted my partner and me. Guitar explained everything very well and is very friendly.
The tour is super interesting because you see places and corners that are probably not otherwise on the itinerary. We booked another tour with this organizer last year. Our guide was nice, attentive and provided us with many photos. Bicycles are in good condition. Along the way, various snacks, drinks and lunches were included. On the canal trip we were away from the main canals and had them almost to ourselves.
