Bangkok Private Customizable Tour With English-speaking Guide

Lily was an absolutely wonderful guide for our private Bangkok tour! She took our group of 6 to Wat Arun and IconSiam, and made the whole day so enjoyable. She even taught us how to speak Thai and sang along with us — such a fun and memorable touch! Lily is very thoughtful and detail-oriented, always making sure everyone in our group was comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend Lily as a private tour guide in Bangkok. 5 stars!

The temples were amazing. Our guide went well, but we could not understand a single word that he said we are both history buffs and was a shame that we spent all day with him and just couldn’t hear him couldn’t understand him and I don’t even think he understood what we were asking him very very disappointed

Private tour with a driver and an English speaking guide. Great intro to Thai culture and history. Our guide TK was easy to understand, fun, and full of knowledge. He provided an itinerary that incorporated most of what we wanted to see and we added, for 3000baht, a private canal tour that wasn’t even on my radar. We paid for our entrance fees where necessary. TK answered most of our questions and he went at our pace for my aging parents (78 and 79 years old), which is one of the reasons for booking a private tour. Lunch was relaxing and delicious at Methavalai Sorndaeng.

Booked through Viator and we had a lovely day visiting the Grand Palace, Wat Arun and Wat Pho. All three sites were beautiful and gave us a great introduction to Bangkok's history, culture and architecture. A special thank you to our guide, Khun Pook, who was warm, knowledgeable and incredibly patient throughout the tour. She explained the history and significance of each temple in a way that was easy to understand, and was always happy to answer our questions. She also helped us navigate the crowds and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. As this was a private tour, we were able to move at a comfortable pace, take plenty of photos and spend more time at the places we enjoyed most. The arrangements were seamless from start to finish, and we never felt rushed. Thank you, Khun Pook, for making our day in Bangkok so memorable. Wow! When I tell you that this was an amazing tour for our family group of 8! Our guide ANDRE was wonderful. He was professional, on-time, and full of knowledge. He met our group and had our tour laid out for us and also made sure we arrived to our Thai photo shoot appointment later that day. Andre took us to the Grabd Palace, boat ride to the golden Buddha and several stops in between. He was knowledgeable, professional, and funny. We definitely recommend this tour. Ask for ANDRE

We had a wonderfull time at the floating markets and a photo with the white tiger and crocodile and monkeys and the driver was so lovely and helpful

We chose a historical theme for our tour.  Our guide greeted us warmly and confirmed the agenda before we got in the car.  We had a driver so our guide was able to focus on sharing information including how each of the monarchs left their legacy on the kingdom.  Her explanation of the evolution of Thai language was given with examples which gave context to our interaction with locals during our stay in Bangkok.  She explained the evolution of religion within the country, elaborated on roles of males and females.  I’d read up on Thai history so understood Thailand was never colonized.  Our guide shared stories that elaborated on that fact.  She did a wonderful job of setting expectations before every attraction; made sure we understood.  She took many photos of our adventure.  When it was time for a meal she asked questions before choosing a wonderful restaurant where we had a delicious meal and excellent service. Our guide was solicitous and considerate of our needs, frequently asking if we needed a break for anything.  A highlight – the Sky Walk?  I almost chickened out but our guide gave me confidence from her enthusiasm and encouragement.  She filmed me walking onto the glass and took photos of us after I succeeded. When it was time to return to the hotel – being a Friday evening she made sure we understood traffic congestion would be a factor and set our expectations for time.  The driver did an amazing job maneuvering through and we arrived safely at our destination. I would highly recommend this guide and our driver.  It was a wonderful beautiful experience that definitely made my time in Thailand memorable and positive.

We had a wonderful guide and we definitely saw the highlights of the Palace complex and several Buddhas. This is a trip that might be better if I had been better prepared with a Top 5 of things I wanted to see. The Guide would have easily accommodated. We did pay extra for a boat ride up a canal to see a very large Buddha. We had fun on a very hot day.

We had an outstanding day with Undre. He took us to many ‘off the beaten path’ places that most tourists do not see. We visited a temple (had to take shoes off), took a canal ride off the main river, had lunch in Chinatown, and ended our 8 hours at the Sky Walk, 78 floors atop a skyscraper.

It was very. I’ve to have a private visit and do it at our pace. Pooki our guide was super nice and knowledgeable but for Thai people that can’t pronounce many words in English is difficult so his English was not the best. But we visited a lot of places at our pace and he took us to a nice place for lunch and had lots of little things to give us.

Pook was an amazing host/translator/ everything man. He really made this tour!! Also he had lots and lots of snacks and water lol, great guy!

So glad we booked this tour! We had booked a similar tour in Bali, which had consisted of a driver taking us to places and mostly sitting in the car. This was most definitely not that. Undre was with us every step of the way. His knowledge was incredible: He told us not just the facts/history, but also the best places to stand for photos (which he took and sent to us), ways to avoid the crowds—even the locations of the nice bathrooms with AC! His love of and pride in his city and country showed throughout the tour. My wife has some mobility issues and he was tremendously helpful and caring with her. By the end of the day we were like old friends. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Before we even met , he texted me the day before and asked where I wanted to go. Not only did he do that, but also made other recommendations for things to see. He knew so much history, it was fascinating. Also,he kept me hydrated with water. Could not have asked for better guide than Pook.

He had lots of tops and suggestions e.g. about where to take photos from. He found is a good place to eat lunch and was very flexible with all our wishes and requests. It was great having a driver and a guide. The driver would meet us further along, and we didn't have to worry about finding him. We had just arrived in Thailand so we found the accent difficult to understand.

Yut and Pat were amazing and super informative and kind. Yut really helped me get great photos. I went solo so it was really nice to have both of them help me throughout the trip. I got to customize the trip so things that I wanted to do that were maybe hole in the wall, i requested.

Kulsaya was incredible, we couldn’t have asked for a better first day in Bangkok. She was knowledgeable, accommodating, and an overall pleasure to spend the day with - we were sad when the tour ended! It was so great to spend the day with a local and learn about all the history and culture. We invited her to lunch with us and that was easily one of the best decisions we made during our whole trip because she showed us local dishes that we wouldn’t have known to order! She also knew all the spots to get great photos and takes amazing photos herself! She even gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip, which all ended up being amazing. 10/10 highly recommend Kulsaya, she is a beautiful soul and we hope to keep in touch with her beyond this trip.

What a great way to spend our first day in Bangkok! Our tour guide, Kulsaya, was amazing. She was kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Not only did we learn a lot about Thai culture and the history of the places we went to, she also help capture those memories with her photography skills. We invited her to join us for lunch and so glad that we did. We tried authentic Thai dishes that she recommended and they were so good. You set the itinerary which is nice. Must see places Grand Palace, Wat Paknam with the private canal ride, and Wat Pho. Kulsaya made this day fun beyond our expectations! Wish she can be our tour guide for the rest of our trip.

Kulsaya provided us with an excellent tour of Bangkok and many of the sites, including The Golden Buddha, Wat Pho and Wat Arun. Due to the passing of the Queen, we were unable to see the Grand Palace. Kulsaya was very friendly , informative and knowledgeable and she did an excellent an amazing job taking picture of us and the sites.

I’m so glad we did this private tour of Bangkok. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Our tour guide Chacha was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. Lily was a very knowledgeable tour guide and our driver was very competent taking us to all of our requested sites. We were picked up at our hotel as planned and were able to complete our customized itinerary. We had a nice boat ride and then a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. All In all a great day. We learned so much from Lily about Bangkok.
