We had a fantastic tour of Bangkok’s food scene tasting a variety of local favorites. Our tour guide (Sally) was really great. She knew a lot about the local flavors, hot spots, and even some hide-aways preferred by locals and family nights out. We really enjoyed the tour. The only hiccup was the pick up if you are NOT coming by local BHT. We spent some time at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (worth a visit too!) and had to navigate ourselves to the pick up point. Otherwise, a flawless and fun evening!

No one showed up. No one reached out ahead of time to tell us they couldn’t provide us the tour so we didn’t waste our time arranging our day around it. No one proactively provided us a refund so we didn’t have to now wait over a week for TripAdvisor to process our refund of $271. No one answered the phone at the provided number in the reservation when no one had shown at by 7pm after we had arrived early at the meeting spot.
The food night tour is a must if you're visiting Thailand. Ohm was my tour guide and he took me to 4 awesome locations. He was very knowledgeable about the food at each of the stops, as well as some of the history of Thailand. Definitely recommend!
Excellent tour, my guide (Na) was extremely knowledgeable and a lovely companion. The food selection was great - perfect variety of local hot spots and interesting cuisine. Highly recommend
Great Experience and we had a great guide! He (Ohm) was very experienced and gave us a lot of info about Bangkok. He should us the best local restaurants. Would definitely recommend it!
Great tour for seeing and tasting the street food in Bangkok. Our guide met us promptly at the meeting point, and the Tuk Tuk dropped us off at the hotel at the end. The temple of dawn was an amazing sight at night.
A wonderful evening exploring lots of different restaurants and places around the city. We have lived in Bangkok for a few years but everywhere was new to us! The food was tasty, our guide was very knowledgable and we had lots of fun. There was SO much food we were completely full by the end of the tour, do NOT eat before hand!
This was the highlight of our trip. The food was delicious, the tour guide was polite and informative and it was easy to get around. We got to eat a ton of food and were full by the end of the trip. I highly recommend that everyone takes this tour.
Katy our tour guide looked after us was very aware of my shell fish allergy. She made sure my food did not contain any shell fish while my companions could still enjoy the Thai flavours.
Aoy was our guide, she was excellent! Very friendly, knowledgeable, kind happy, she always smiles. The Tuk Tuk tour was so much fun, going to different restaurants and trying different things, she did a wonderful job, and hope to see her and Bangkok again, Thank for the wonderful experience! This tour was so much fun! Getting to buzz around and learn about some really interesting spots we had never even heard of! Food was incredible, so full I had to stop. June was full of information about the tour and Thailand in general it was great to have someone to ask those particular questions to! Would recommend 10/10. Met another couple from the other side of the world, and a lady from close by in Aus! What are the chances!
Brilliant,Ohm was a fantastic guide who knew the city and history extremely well and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family
Great Guide, Great Company, Great Food Experience, Great Tuk Tuk ride, Great Tour ! Would highly recommend this night city tour in Bangkok ! Thank you 😊!
A must do. Ja Tar (apologies if that’s incorrect) was amazing, knowledgable and very funny. We had a great evening with great food. Some of the places you would probably walk past normally however they were just unreal. Temples at night are a sight to be seen. Tuk Tuks were a fun, thrilling way to get around!!
The Tour Guide was friendly Food was delicious. without our guide we wont know there are such places that cook wonder local food . We even visit temple in the night , its nice n cool with lights light up its worth going again
This Tuk Tuk tour was amazing. The food was divine and our tour guide Ta Taa was just lovely and very knowledgeable about her country, the history and its food. Was a fantastic experience shooting around the city at night and our driver was safe and polite. The temples we saw at night were amazing and very different from the day with the way they were lit up and the peaceful air. The flower market was great, never seen so many flowers in once place. Could not recommend this night enough.
An amazing food and cultural experience. The food was delicious, loved learning about the culture and really appreciated our guide. I have recommended it to everyone.
I never thought there is a food market in Bangrak nearby saphan taksin station. The explanation for each food was helpful and the guide was really nice. Thank you for taking me and my bf there, it was a new fun experience.
This was the second time we’ve done this tour! We chose the private tour when our family and friends (ranging in age from 14 to 75) visited us over the holidays. The food places we visited were amazing plus it’s a great way to see the city at night. Sasa was our tour guide, and she made the tour that much better!! She is knowledgeable, energetic and so fun!! In fact, we specifically requested her this time after we had her for our first food tour. This tour is a must when you’re visiting Bangkok!
A big thank you to the folks at Taste of Thailand. Our small group had a great guide who toured us around the city visiting a delicious array of restaurants and other dining experiences. A bonus was a trip to a temple and the oldest flower market in Bangkok. The whole trip was very well organized and just a delightful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a fun night out in Bangkok enjoying delicious food. thanks guys. Hope to see you again soon.
This was our first night in Bangkok and just the most perfect way to start our trip. Our guide gave us a fantastic tour of the city and we went to so many food havens which we would not dared to have stopped at without guidance. Cooking in back alleys or on a footstool on the roadside making some of the tastiest food around. We also got to visit the flower market and reclining Buddha temple whilst asking for as much local knowledge as we could. There was also time to stop at a roof top bar over looking the river towards another beautiful temple. We paired up with another lovely family and with just four of us on the tour it was very intimate. If you don’t undertake this tour when you come to Bangkok you will be very much missing out 👍🏽
5 stars! We had a great time. Our guide, Ohm, was fantastic. He gave us great information about the food plus background on history, a few Wats and other sites. Our son has allergies and the company made adjustments so that he could eat everywhere and everything. The good at all four spots was delicious. Plus, exploring at night is a different experience and we highly recommend it. It’s much cooler, less crowded and Bangkok at night is beautiful. Plus, zipping around in a Tuk Tuk with no traffic is always fun. We highly recommend this tour and ask for Ohm!
Nice small group. Tour guide gave an informative history tour also. Great ride by tuk tuk through the city.
The guides the food the markets at night what an incredible time. Highly recommend you don’t leave Bangcock before you do this tour!
We enjoyed every stop on this tour. In addition to introducing us to some highlights of the Bangkok food scene, we also saw some temples and visited a few different neighborhoods. Guides were very professional and friendly. The tour lasted from 6:30 pm until after 11 pm and the Tuk Tuk was able to drop us off back at our hotel. Overall, very well organized and an enjoyable evening in Bangkok!
Best first night in Bangkok! Tour guide Aoy was exceptional. She was well informed and choose great places for us to visit. Highly recommend
Thoroughly enjoyed our night. TukTuk ride, flower market interesting, food stops delicious เอร็ดอร่อย, night temple visit with no crowds perfect, and river view beautiful. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and friendly which really made our adventure fun. Thank you
Trip was good but overrated and in the end they send some other group's photo to us. Haven't corrected this for a while.
This was a short stay for my wife and I so we decided that we should do some guided tours. We were pleasantly surprised with Ohm's enthusiasm and knowledge of everywhere he took us. Nothing was difficult and the tour was done at a leisurely pace. The tour and the food was extraordinary and a must do when visiting Bangkok.
The tour of food of Bangkok was so much fun and covered not only the night food but the culture and history of Bangkok. We enjoyed our unique experience and highly recommend this tour.
It was great the food was delicious both the driver and guide were absolutely amazing...I would definitely recommend if you are in Bangkok
I had a beautiful tour with an amazing and very special Beau, she been sooo sooo lovely I can put my thoughts into words how amazing she was, calm, easy going, helpful and just made me feel special and she looked after me so much. Very professional, cute accent I loved every single moment with her. Than You so much
Thanks for the Guide's professionalism and kindness, Fantastic view of the river to see the Wat Arun.
Beau was absolutely amazing and it was an authentic and intimate experience. If you don’t like hopping on and off a big bus for quick pics this one is for you!
My friend and I enjoyed our self very much. The food was great and more then enough, little to much as it tasted so great you just had to have more. Was the high light of our visit to bangkok
What a great experience. Food was excellent and the flower market was a wow. Make sure you get Beau as your guide.
We had a great evening with Beau who was a warm, fun and very knowledgeable guide. All of the food we tried was excellent and in a variety of places. Visiting Wat Pho at night and the lovely drink by the river were also highlights. I really recommend this tour and will be trying more tours with this company.
This food tour was fantastic! We were a little unsure how it would go with kids, (6 & 9) but it turned out to be just our family and we split between 2 Tuk Tuks. SaSa did a fantastic job making sure we were all taken care of at each restaurant. Ann Guay Tiew Kna Gai was our favorite stop, but each one had great food. SaSa even took us by Jay Fai's place to catch a glimpse and to a small little desert stop off an alley that made Kanom Krok (Thai Coconut Pancakes) and man were they delicious. The Deck had a fantastic view of the river and Wat Arun and we got a private tour of Wat Po. The last stop cut short only because our kids fell asleep but we took Pad Thai to go and it was amazing!!! Khob khun ka SaSa!
We had an amazing evening! Very good food, nice spots and a lovely guide Bella! Temple visit by night is completely different than by day, must see! Driving around in a Tuk Tuk is so exciting...
This is a fun activity to do with a group of friends as we were whizzed around in tuk tuks from one restaurant to another. It was very well organised and there was plenty of food to try - so go with am empty tummy. The highlight was problem the view across the river to Wat Arun.
A real fun night! Who would have thought I would be riding around Bangkok in a tuk tuk let alone in Friday night traffic. What an adventure! The tour was full of surprises. We visited a variety of restaurants all specialising in one thing. They all provided amazingly delicious experiences. Our guide Bella was heaps of fun. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Bangkok and incredibly proud of her country. I highly recommend this tour.
With limited time to visit Bangkok I went on a tuk tuk night tour. It was lots of fun and there was plenty of delicious food and visits to some key parts of town. I particularly liked the stop at a bar directly opposite the temple of dawn - all lit up at night. We also got to walk around the outside of the buildings at the temple of the reclining Buddha. The only negative was that return hotel transfers were included and organised by the guide with the tuk tuk drivers, but the tuk tuk driver assigned to take me back didn’t speak English and I had some communication problems when he tried to drop me at the wrong location. Overall it was a good night with LOTS of delicious food from 3 different restaurants.
Love going abroad but have always been nervous of trying the street foods. Well this tour and company certainly put our minds at rest. We went to places where I have always shied away from before and it was brilliant. I so heartily advise anyone to book this tour. A real mouth watering eye opener. The guide, Ohm, was knowledgeable, keen for us to learn and a brilliant and extremely enthusiastic guide. Look it up....Taste of Thailand.
The best food tour in Bangkok. I did this in 2016 and insisted we do it again in 2019 for our trip. Ask for Sasa, she brought such energy and fun to our tour. The food was fantastic, the night temple tour was incredible (miss the crowds!), and my favorite was the flower market. PAN FRIED NOODLES WERE ONE OF MY FAVORITE MEALS OF MY LIFE. Thank you!
This was such a fun night and by far one of the highlights of our trip. Our tour guide, Sasa, was so amazing, we actually booked a tour with her for the very next day. She made our time in Bangkok that much more memorable, and we felt like we spent the day with a dear friend. This food tour has you zipping through town in a Tuk Tuk and eating some excellent street food, in sit down restaurants and taking in some historical sites at night which were stunning. Our guide was very easy to find and the tour was orchestrated with precision. One location had a queue outside that was 30pp deep...and we just rolled right past them and sat at our reserved table. The tour moves quick, but never seemed rushed or hurried. I plan tours for a living...and couldn't recommend this one highly enough. Also...request Sasa!♡♡♡
Sa Sa was the best guide ask for her! Bring a big appetite and visit Michelin star restaurants. Enjoy as much as we did.
We recommend Tuk Tuk tour was fun, local food go hungry, beautiful temples and flower market tour 🌼
This tour was definitely interesting but I felt like the food very much erred on the safe side. It also wasn’t balanced. We started with congee then we had noodles before finishing with more noodles. They were all great versions of themselves but I can have all those dishes in Sydney whenever I like. It was also very carb heavy when I would have liked to have experienced more variation – duck? Squid? Some veggies? We were also taken to the Eagles Nest bar for a drink (it’s up five flights of stairs which didn’t work for my mother) but the view over the river and temples was sensational. For me, the best parts were the trip to the flower market and seeing so many orchids followed by a night tour of a temple. The temple was excellent; while we couldn’t access all parts of the complex the fact that there was no crowds at all more than made up for that. Our guide, Beau, was excellent as were the Tuk Tuk drivers. They were easy to find at the train station and then dropped us back to our hotel at the end. It’s a hot journey around Bangkok and involved waiting for drivers and tables at some points. Overall, if the food was more diverse I would give this five stars but, as is, the lack of variety stopped a higher score from me.
Last night we went on a fantastic 4 hour city and food tour of Bangkok by Tuk Tuk. Our guide, Beau, was fantastic and very friendly. Her knowledge of the food and sights of Bangkok was superb. We experienced foods that we had never tried before and some more familiar, but cooked at the most renowned Pad Thai shop in Bangkok. In between eating we stopped off at the flower market, Wat Pho and had a drink in the most spectacular bar with an amazing view ( the steps to get there are so worth it). Throughout the tour we were accompanied by the politest, Tuk Tuk drivers. They still drove crazily, but compared to others, were very sedate and we all enjoyed it. We came away with full bellies and great memories of Bangkok. Thank you Beau and Taste of Thailand.
If you are pressed for time but want to squeeze a heap into a short stay in Bangkok then this tour is top notch. Our guide was fantastic and we had a great time in the tut tuts. Food was also great although the famous Pad thai was a little over rated would prefer a street stall eat. Highly recommended.
