Once your tuk-tuk has picked you up directly from your Bangkok hotel at 19:00 hrs, you will be taken to a meeting point where your friendly, English-speaking Food Tour Guide will greet you. The meeting location will be at the first foodie place, which has a Michelin recommendation: the Suan Mali Street Kitchen! Make sure to come hungry, as there will be plenty of some of the best Bangkok Street foods to try!
This is the first food stop on the tour. It's an open-air chicken noodle parlor that occupies one part of a narrow alley. At nighttime, the high flames and extremely hot chili oil produce a smoky flavor and aroma as well as a nice presentation into the food culture of Thailand. It's a small stall owned and managed by a local Thai family. Sample Menu: Suan Mali Chicken Noodle, their signature dish!
Our next Street Food Paradise is the vibrant Ban That Thong Night Market, known for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious street food. This street has evolved from a neglected area selling auto parts to a bustling street food haven. We will experience Ban That Thong Street on foot and sample delicious Thai food from various eateries, including a tasting menu of: -Som Tom Thai Papaya Salad -Gai Yang Grilled Chicken -Isaan Northeastern Sausage -Moo Satay Pork Skewers with Peanut Sauce -Kanom Krok Thai Coconut Pancake
The tour continues to Yaowarat, Bangkoks's Chinatown, one of the largest in the world and renowned for its incredible street food. Here, we will venture by foot again and get an up-close sense of all the sounds and smells as we go hunting for our welcoming desert nightcap, with sample menu such as: -Thai stir-fried ice cream -Chinese donuts -Herbal drinks
Drop off at your Bangkok Hotel Drop Off. Your tuk-tuk driver will take you back to your Bangkok hotel after the tour. The time could be between 22:00-23:00

Absolutely amazing experience! We spent half the day together in Thailand, and everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
I’ve always had a great experience with all the tours I booked through Viator. This is no exception. Fortunately for us it was the rainy and slow season. We also booked on a Monday night rather than the weekend. As a result we wound up having a private tour with Bo. She is an excellent tour guide, and she could pass for a native English speaker, even throwing out some unexpected cliche phrases. We were fortunate that the rain held off being the middle of the rainy season, as we were whisked from place to place in our tuk tuk. Our first stop was a sketchy back alley Michelin Guide spot - a family run business. For good reason it was the best dish of the night. The unique dish featured noodles that were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Perfection in a bowl. The second eatery was tucked away down a side street in China Town. All the dishes were delicious and featured something different. Bo grabbed a couple of mangosteens and rambutans along the way, and showed us how to open and eat them properly. The last major stop was another family establishment on the outskirts of China Town that featured a fried chicken dish. Once again all delicious. Lastly, we wandered the streets in search of dessert. The eggs cakes were our favorite little sweet treat to finish things off, but that wasn’t the end of it. Event though we were stuffed, Bo insisted we try these small octopus bites. I’m not sure I’d consider them a dessert, but we tried them anyway. We didn’t want anything less than the full Thai experience. To each his own. Overall a great and memorable experience. There’s no better way to do it than with a local like Bo.
Great experience. The guide is very experienced and she could also commumicate in Chinese.
We had a fantastic experience with our guide Smiley. She was so helpful and fun, the food was amazing throughout the trip. We couldn’t have possible got around to so many diverse places on our own, so the trip was a perfect way to experience the food and neighbourhoods of Bangkok. 5 stars!🌟
Everything was fantastic! The tour, our lady tour guide, places, lot of food, exc places and prompt pick up. 100% recommended
Prepare yourself to eat more food than you can possibly imagine as you explore the streets of China town with a brilliant guide! Fly through the streets in a Tuk Tuk to experience treats that are hard to find Highly recommended
Tae guided us - he speaks great English, he's fun and he's very friendly and checks in with what you like to ensure you'll enjoy the most of Thai food in Bangkok. He loves to help and answer questions about Thailand and Thai culture in general. Going point to point by tuk tuk is quite special and a fun experience, would highly recommend. We went during the off season and service at the restaurants was generally very fast. The tour went for right around 3 hours and the sheer amount of food supplied as part of this tour will ensure you go to bed feeling more full than you expected.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Tae. He took us around the various neighborhoods of the city and showed us all of the popular spots for street food & local cuisine. Tae is very informative and explained a lot about the local food scene. Great time! Thanks Tae!
We had a Street Food tour with tuk tuk booked for 7pm. As Bangkok is such a massive city, the tuk tuk was a great way to get around the different places we visited. There was only one other couple of the tour. They were from Sweden and we got on well and the tour guide (Tae) was excellent. After the trip Tae sent on photos he took and some recommendations of things to do in the city. We started down some small back alley at a street kitchen with a Michelin star and ended up in hectic Chinatown. There was loads of food and we enjoyed it all. We were dropped back at hotel around 11pm. A great first full day in Bangkok.
Our guide was Sarah and she did an incredible job with our tour. This tour is like being taken on a food trip with your local friend when you go to visit them. On this tour we got to experience many local foods and places I never would have tried without Sarah taking us. Come hungry because there is plenty to eat, and be patient the food is worth the wait.
My and my 14 year daughter went on a street food night tour in Bangkok. We were picked up by tuk tuk from our hotel, which to us to the first stop where we meet our guide Tae. We very serve the most amazing chicken from a small shag in a back alley- a place we would never have found by ourselves. From then on we went to batthatthong street and china town for more delicious treatments. The tour included a walk in both neighborhoods where Tae would tell us about Thai Cuisine and he would point our places which was worth visiting. I am thankful that we still have a couple of days in Bangkok so we get to try some of these. Afterwards my daughter and I agreed that this was the best evening in Bangkok so far! Best recommendations from us
We took this tour last night and I cannot recommend it enough. Once you are picked up at your hotel, the tuk tuk driver takes you to meet your guide. Our guide Tae was incredible. He was so engaging, and made sure we had everything we needed and kept introducing new foods to us. He went out of his way to make recommendations and explained the different regional cuisines and cooking process along the way. It was worth every penny.
The experience was fantastic, with delicious and very well-selected food. Our guide Su was outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and always attentive. Even our 6-year-old son enjoyed the food, which says it all! Highly recommended.
Be open minded, great street food experience. T was a great guide and let us taste so many different things. The ride was very fun as well.
Our family had an excellent experience with Tae. He took us to try a variety of food at places we would never have found in our own, and he was very attentive and flexible. Highly recommended.
Awesome tour with an amazing guide. We’ve had the most delicious (and crazy!) food. Loved it! Getting around in a tuktuk was so much fun. Highly recommend! Make sure Smiley is your guide, she’s the best :)
Really fun tour. Brilliantly organised with a great host. We definitely recommend as a way to try street food and see Chinatown
Such a great night food tour. After being picked up from our hotel by Tuk Tuk we met up with our guide Tae who was amazing. We went to so many different street food places that were all excellent and we were well catered for considering we were very fussy and limited to certain foods. Very knowledgable about the different food types and what the locals eat and all the different areas of street food. I thoroughly recommend this night food tour by Tuk Tuk and request Tae as your guide
How is a good trip from the first date in Bangkok, it is very fanstastic night. Our guide was very kind and informative. We have got a lot of knowledge and enjoy the food. Please not eat too much before the tour, because you will get a lot of full, I promise. If you would like to find a good food tour, I recommend it for sure ;)
The tour was fantastic. Lots of great food, extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide called Tae. Would highly recommend both the tour and Tae.
We had an amazing evening eating the most delicious food together with the incredible guide Sara. Highly recommended.
We had an awesome time on our tour! Tae was interesting and cool Got to know lots of great spots and get a feeling of the city at night
Wonderful tour with our friendly and charming guide Tae. Everything was perfectly organized, from the hotel pick-up with the tuk-tuk to every food single stop. Tae told us a lot of interesting things about Thai and Chinese food (in Chinatown) and took perfect care of us. He even organized rain coats for us when it started to rain. You should definitely come very hungry, we could not manage to eat all of the food - it felt like a seven course meal, and everything was perfect and delicious. Would do again and highly recommend.
If you are adventurous with food and night life, you will love this tour. Tae was our guide for the evening and set the pace based on us. He chose and recommended amazing new foods which we loved, took us both to the buzz of Chinatown and the back streets of Bangkok. All the food was fresh and delicious and the whole family thought he was awesome. Thanks Tae!
Had a great tour trying many different foods I wouldn’t have found without this tour. Tae was an amazing guide. Couldn’t recommend enough.
We were picked up by our driver at our hotel and then we started - by tuktuk through the traffic chaos of Bangkok. At Golden Mount we met our guide Tae. He led us up to the temple and told us everything there is to know about the temple. Afterwards we continued to Wat Ratchanatdaram before walking through Khao San Road. We then raced past the Grand Palace for dinner together. Well fortified we strolled through the flower market and then ended the evening at Sticky Rice with mangoes and ice cream in Chinatown. An impressive excursion! Tae took great care of us and provided us with all kinds of insider tips!
We booked the Bangkok Night Eats by Tuk Tuk - Hotel-pickup & Dinner Tour and loved it. The organization and collection with the tuk tuk worked out excellently. Although we would call ourselves foodies and Asian connoisseurs, there were plenty of food we had never eaten before. Our tour guide, we unfortunately forgot her name, was incredibly fun, warm, dedicated and flexible (when a restaurant closed she found a replacement quite quickly). An all-round successful excursion and a fantastic culinary experience.
