We enjoyed the 2 hour dinner evening cruise along the Chao Phraya river. I liked that we were assigned a nice private table on the top deck with a beautiful view. This was our first time in Bangkok and we were happy to experience this. The food and service was really good plus there was live music entertainment which we enjoyed listening to. Very well organized and on time from boarding on/off at ICONSIAM.

A really nice couple of hours cruising the river in Bangkok, The entertainers were fun, the food was buffet with plenty of choices and well prepared and presented, the staff were friendly and helpful and it was not an expensive night out. I would recommend this boat trip.
Watching Bangkok light up from the river while enjoying dinner felt very relaxing. The buffet had enough variety for my family and the atmosphere was pleasant throughout the cruise. Boarding took a little time because many guests arrived together, but the trip itself was enjoyable.
The anticipation of the dinner cruise but waiting too long at the jetty at ICONSIAM. There was a lack of signage, but fortunately we asked to go to Pier 1 to get our tickets before boarding. The food was generous, and the selection was great. As the upper deck was only opened, we were not told of additional food stations on the second deck, making us miss the food. Otherwise, it's value for money... and the view of the Bangkok skyline is stunning.
Good food. Chaos when they announced the buffet was open. A great rush to the food. It would have been much more pleasant and less pushing if 3 or 4 tables went at the same time. Yes, some people would have to wait but there was no shortage of food. Entertainment was ok, dancers were especially delightful.
Good, but the music was way too loud. Atmosphere and food was great. The interior lights should have been dimmed to reduce glare looking out.
They cannot find my reservations through you guys, and I had to pay upon arrival they had no information on me with a reservation through you as my vendor so I paid you and I paid them as well. I demand a refund.
Hated it. It was just not for me. I can’t speak for anyone else but I was glad when it was over. Would not book it again and cannot recommend.
Avoid at all costs. For the money paid you can eat in an amazing restaurant more than once. Food was not fresh, music was too loud, had to stay in queue 20 minutes to get some bad food. Free drink shouldnt be given even to an enemy
Waiting experience was ver poor. Was kept waiting for more than 30 minutes with no proper management. But once on the cruise it was made up and there was a huge variety in food items.
The cruise was very nice. The food was average.the setting was very beautiful. The boat left a bit late but it dropped us back on time. On the whole a very relaxing experience.
My family and I had an awesome time on the dinner cruise. The hosts were super friendly and the dinner and birthday cake was really good. There were so many options to choose from. The instructions for arrival were great and navigating was easy. I definitely recommend Meridian Cruise especially if celebrating a birthday. They really know how to make it exciting and fun.
This is my second time to booked this dinner cruise and I super duper love it. It food is nice they have a variety of options. The last time the prawns are hot but this time it not hot. However we still have a great time the singers really did their job to entertain while having dinner. Highly recommended good price.
Excellent food, service and variety of music, fantastic views. Overall experience is highly recommended. Thumbs up!👍🙏❤️
Food is average, selection of food limited , seafood is fresh , different experience of sight seeing , good customer service
Good trip food was good & the music was great 😊 worth the money you must have to do this when you visit Bangkok
The food was good, the staff were great and very helpful, the atmosphere awesome, the sights excellent, just the singing was too loud for my taste, and hurt my ears. I had to go outside and just enjoyed the sights.
The evening cruise was enjoyable, as were all the sites that we saw from the ship. The food was good as was the value for the money. No narration, just a lot of somewhat loud music, but that cruise was really geared to a younger crowd. Still we had a very good time.
We had a very good time on the cruise, and the food was basically good, especially the sushi. The music was at times a bit loud, but otherwise ok. We did not like how the tables were assigned, but we could see most of the sights. We would have appreciated some narration, but we survived .
It was truly memorable. The moment we boarded, the ambiance felt luxurious with well-lit interiors, comfortable seating, and friendly staff. The buffet was a highlight - offering a wide variety of Thai and international dishes, along with fresh seafood and decadent desserts. The live music and cultural performances added charm, creating a festive yet relaxed atmosphere. Cruising along the river at night, the views of the illuminated temples, bridges, and city skyline were simply breathtaking and perfect for photos. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and everything was well organized from check-in to disembarkation. The cruise struck a great balance between dining, entertainment, and sightseeing. Whether you’re with friends, family, or on a romantic evening, it’s a fantastic way to enjoy Bangkok by night. Highly recommended for anyone looking to combine culture, food, and stunning river views.
Friends booked a deal via one Facebook page so we all here booking the table at the forefront deck of the cruise with stunning view of the Chao Phraya River of Bangkok. To walk a bit far from buffet but nice, away from the crowd, also no shows, music is ok but we all love the service from crews, stunning scenes 😀
We were late but waited for us , then experience was beautiful food and drinks service perfect , singing and dancing was perfect .. views and settings was spectacular
Good dining option. Nice selection of dishes, welcome drink, water and other drinks available. Also enjoyed the entertainment although found the singing a bit loud where we were seated.
The check in process was a shambles as it was mostly groups with guides. We where not so nobody really Told us what to do. Sitting on the bottom floor of the boat with the lights you can’t really see out. The restaurant manager saw we where interested in the scenery so moved us upstairs after dinner.
I don’t usually write reviews but if you’re like me (researches everything before booking), please save your money and don’t book this. Decided to do this on the last day before going back to US and it was not a good experience. Directions to register and find the boat was super confusing, and the workers blocked my view the entire time. The staff were not friendly. Food was okay. Just book another cruise to be honest.
The tour was excellent the boat had delicious and a great variety of foods. Great entertainment as well. They make you feel very welcomed. Highly recommend this tour. Thank you Meridian!!
The check in process was a bit different than what was advised on the booking but not an issue in the end as we arrived well in advance. Got to watch the fountain display at IconSiam while we waited which was an unexpected delight. We booked for a few days before Songkran so IconSiam was building stages for the holiday events which limited the amount of space you were able to walk around outside by the piers. The cruise itself was good. I read other reviews and expected the chaos of the buffet line. The entertainment on board was ok. The singers were great. The dancers seemed like they needed more practice together. It is the end of the busy season so maybe they were training someone new. Sights that were light were great. Given the price I would recommend this to others.
The food was fantastic, a lot to choose from! The view from the boat cruising along the river gave us a great vantage point to look at the temples all lit up in their glory.
This was a very relaxing dinner, it was our first night in Bangkok and we wanted to do something simple for dinner. This definitely fit the bill. The buffet was good. The music was fabulous! I was so impressed with the multi lingual singers who knew popular hits from different countries.
Not good. Highly disorganized boarding. Limited buffet style food that runs out with absolutely no signs. One side was only salads and sushi - other side more substantial. Guests push and shove to get food. Wouldn’t return even if it was free.
Really Amazing. Clean, enjoyable and cheap. I prefer everytime sae company. ı came befare 5 times. so delicious dinner. reallay perfect
Enjoyable and value for money, lovely food and fun atmosphere. The singers were great and so were the Thai dancers
The Meridian has 2 floors Floor 1 is low and aircondition! No view and cold. Floor 2 is nice but was blocked for private party. We refused to join and left. We wrote to you and asked for refund, which was promised. The Meridian team was very unfriendly and not at all supportive.
Lovely scenic cruise with an extensive buffet, not sure about the seafood component. Fantastic entertainment on both decks. Go early to find the right place to book in and get to your pier.
Food was ok, drinks limited and when we booked we were not given option to sit upstairs in open and we were put downstairs .. sites went by and not told what is coming
A lovely way to spend an evening in Bangkok, relaxing and enjoying the views from the water. I especially loved the temples illuminated and reflected in the river. The food, music and entertainment were great and lots of people got up and danced. We enjoyed it very much. It was difficult to get transport back to our hotel when what seemed like thousands of people got off the numerous dinner cruise boats. We were unable to get a Grab or a taxi or even a tuk tuk (unless we wanted to get ripped off at 4 times the usual price). Hint: walk away from Icon Siam 100 metres and then get a taxi. Much quicker, easier and cheaper than trying to get one at the Icon Siam.
While the dinner on the river cruise is good with a good variety the experience is best enjoyed is you are on the outdoor decks. Unfortunately my family and I were seated inside and didn’t have a window table either.. There are too many reflections on the window to get good pictures of the sights and with the indoor seating the experience isnt as immersive. There needs to be a way in which you should be shown your seating before hand so you know if you’d like to book or not. Also I had booked the cruise tickets in advance and was still not given good seats so I really don’t understand what the seating system is like.
Food was good and plentiful. Entertainment on board was loud but also good. The river at night is worth seeing . Would recommend.
Awesome experience. Perfect dinner with family and friends or couples. Lavish dinner buffet and live music. Fantastic view of Bangkok city from the river. Major attraction is Iconsiam Mall and evening view of Wat Arun temple.
Beautiful experience of Bangkok on the Chao Phraya River with dinner and fabulous views. Traffic in the evening is a NIGHTMARE so leave way in advance of boarding time! (1hour or more) Book as far in advance as possible and make sure you get upstairs seating only! We had an amazing table/location and couldn't fault anything. Limited Drinks options. Lovely cultural show too. Boarding photos taken that can be purchased on board. We loved that as tourists. There are loads of tour operators doing this so check out all reviews 😀
Was a good time for the most part, they had us at a table close to the front at the start, then the moved me and my girl to the back were we couldn't see the show And the drinks were ridiculously expensive. 700B for two drinks.
Agency guy booked tickets in Meridian Cruise 2. Cruise is small as compare to other cruise, very congested seating arrangements inside ground floor, not sure about the first floor. Food is very very worst especially Indian food. Only DJ is good, rest everything is very bad.
It made my date very happy. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Loved the experience.
The sites along the river lit up at night. The dance and traditional Thai customs put on to entertain us.
The vibes were cute because of the live music but the dinner buffet left a lot to be asked for. A lot of the food was cold which is a sure fire way to get food poisoning on vacation. The boat was the Meridian cruise 2. I saw many other nicer looking dinner cruises on the river. It wasn’t a bad experience but it left a little to be desired.
Lovely experience on the river. Staff were very attentive and friendly (as in all of Asia). Enjoyed seeing the sights along the river, although not as many as we expected. The entertainment was lively with a varied genre and the food was delicious with choices for a variety of diets. Worth doing once when visiting Bangkok.
The food was good and the ship was clean. We booked a birthday cake to celebrate a friend's birthday and it turned out to be a wonderful birthday for her.
Great service and food and cruise Music was super and live and very entertaining The cruise itself was very nice
Had a chance having sunset dinner on this beautiful stunning cruise. Nice view, nice foods, and live music performance. Everyone was so happy and dancing together. The cruise will seal along Chao Phraya River for about 2 hours. Departed from Icon Siam at around 4.30pm and return at 6.30pm. it was a great afternoon cruising.
Everything was so terrible that I didn’t want to take pictures of anything. Stink, dirt, cheap tables, terrible buffet, the tables were packed tightly (apparently it’s more profitable), our table was right under the air conditioner, I somehow persuaded them to move us. The waitress dropped a flower from the fruit plate on the floor and put it back, we definitely decided not to eat anything. On the open deck, tables are placed even on the bow of the ship, which means it is impossible to take photographs there - the front part of the deck must be free of tables! The windows are dirty. But the worst thing is that the music is so loud that it PHYSICALLY HURTS. And there is nowhere to hide from it. This is many times louder than you can imagine! Cockroaches. We saw one cockroach get into the refrigerator. The kitchen is not neat and dirty. The toilet is terrible. I found a way to escape by inserting headphones into my ears without sound, went up to the 2nd floor (the sound there was just hell), and there were literally half-dead people sitting there... there was nowhere to escape. Horrible tourist trap. Don't go there! Horrible two hours of life. As soon as the ship docked, people ran out in a depressed state.
