Good customer service. The place is highly recommended to visit to see Bangkok skyline 360 degrees. I like the Skywalk it was fun and awesome.

Itinerary
A short ride from the hotel takes you to Bangkok’s highest skywalk with breathtaking views. The Mahanakhon Skywalk is at the top of Thailand’s iconic King Power Mahanakhon building. As the sun sets, the city lights flicker on below, and the skyline transforms from sunset calm to sparkling night energy. The sky turns gold, orange, and pink as the sun slowly descends over the horizon, casting long shadows across the city. You walk onto the open-air deck, greeted by warm air and a sweeping view of Bangkok glowing in the late sun. As the sun sets, the city lights flicker on below, and the skyline transforms from sunset calm. It’s the highest observation deck in Thailand, reaching up to 314 meters above the ground. Enjoy 360-degree views of the entire Bangkok skyline from the top. The building itself is known for its distinctive pixelated spiral design. After a sky-high sunset, it's a smooth ride back to the comfort of your hotel.

We bought our tickets online through the official homepage, which is something I’d definitely recommend. That way we could totally skip the main queue inside the building and could head straight through. We had to store our bags downstairs, which is free, and also you’re not allowed to use any tripods up there. I was allowed to bring my DSLR camera with me and also use my Gimbal, but I asked the team beforehand through their social media and confirmed the use of the Gimbal right then and there. Then we passed an area where you could get some photos taken before we headed to the lift. It takes you up incredibly quickly and then you step onto the first area (The 74th floor) – this part is completely inside with a windowfront allowing breathtaking views over Bangkok. From here you take an escalator up to another area, from where you can either walk up or take another lift to the top floor. And that part truly is stunning! There’s a bar, a glass floor and an even higher area with seats. The main highlight of the King Power Mahanakhon Sky Walk is undoubtedly the awe-inspiring 360-degree panoramic views it offers of the sprawling city below. The glass-floored observation deck provides a unique perspective, allowing brave souls to step onto the transparent floor and feel the cityscape beneath their feet. You have to wear shoe protection and you’re not allowed to bring your phone or camera onto the glass floor. So, if you want photos of you on there, you need someone to stand behind the line and take them. We headed there for the sunset and this was the best decision ever - Bangkok is just truly stunning from above!
We booked on line the day before direct with the venue - very easy . Took the sky train which stopped 2 mins walk away . We might have been lucky on the day .. but we didn’t have to queue to go through security or for the incredibly fast lift . We booked the 6-7 pm slot Just one point if you are booking for a child under 13 and they look older make sure you take their passport .. I decided to take my daughters as she is 12 ( a lot cheaper ticket) but she looks older and we were asked for proof of her age . The experience is worth the money as you can stay at the top as long as you want to . There was a DJ and a bar .. a cool vibe . The glass floor is an experience too . Definitely worth booking but I wouldn’t book the VR experience that didn’t look particularly great.
My hotel was close to this skywalk, so it was easy for me to walk over here and purchase tickets at the front desk. My husband and I really enjoyed the scenery from above, and had a good beer on the deck as well. Nice spot to hang out for a bit, and you can go at your own pace while you are there. I think we spent about 90 minutes there in total just enjoying beers this high up in the city. Definitely bring sunscreen with you and a small umbrella as the deck has NO shade.
A little bit of fun on a glass floor above Bangkok city, make sure you have a hat as no shade up there. Definitely worth doing if you like heights
We were met at our hotel at the agreed upon time and transported to the skywalk . Every step was explained thoroughly and we had a great time
A must visit place on your next trip to. Bangkok. Thats mahanakhon skywalk experience. One of Thailand’s highest observatory deck at 314m above ground level. The view is breathtaking. Its somewhat similar to That at Burj Khalifa. I personally loved the outdoor experience here. And walking on the glass floor was surely one of a kind experience. The visiting hours are 10-2 pm and 4-7pm.
Opened just a few years ago, the King Power Mahanakhon Tower is fast becoming a favorite tourist destination, thanks to its modern and unique architecture, but also because of its Skywalk located on the 78th floor. Ticket is quite expensive and the place tends to be a bit crowded, but these do not keep people from visiting the place just to walk on the glass floor on the 78th floor and enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of Bangkok. It's also a great spot for viewing the sunset. Aside from all these, you can also dine and shop your heart out!
Easy to get to by BTS SkyTrain. No queues when I was there early afternoon midweek. 800 THB entrance fee for adults. But I availed the senior citizen and child discounted rate of 250 THB. Just show your passport, unlike other South East Asian countries, here they give discount to foreigners too. Very fast and smooth elevator ride to the top with animated show on the walls. Then another short elevator ride to the top level containing the famous glass bottomed Skywalk. You ha to wear cloth shoe covers to walk on the glass and mobile phones not allowed on the glass for obvious fears of it getting scratched if a mobile is accidentally dropped. Strange feeling walking on the glass and looking down. Definitely not for the faint hearted. Lots of seating in which to relax and take in the views of Bangkok. Enjoyed it a lot and highly recommended. The lift down drops you a few floors before the exit so you have to use escalators and traipse through a few levels of various merchandise mainly cosmetics. A few high end Asian eateries there too.
Fascinating and impressive architecture. Fabulous ambiance. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Views and glass walkway were amazing. Full bright orange moonrise was a bonus. Food and drinks were wonderful. The ease of entry and enjoyment of the facilities was appreciated. Very clean and well managed. Loved it!!!
I have visited both, the Mahanakhon Sky Walk and the Baiyoke Sky Tower. So I can compare. In terms of experience of the view of Bangkok, these two towers are identical. It is true that the Baiyoke tower is much cheaper to visit than the Mahanakhon tower. (400THB vs 980THB) The Mahanakhon has the Sky Walk as an extra, which is a very nice experience. The Mahanakhon tower is also much more modern, and more commercial in approach. For the timing of the visit, and this applies to both towers, it is best to choose an hour before sunset. If you enjoy your drink after your visit, you can then start your visit again with a view of Bangkok by night. (two different views for the price of one)
360 degree view of the city that is nothing but neon lights and traffic jams! I went in the evening. The view is breathtaking whether on Level 74 (enclosed) or Level 75 (open air). It is very crowded so it's hard to get a good photo spot. The glass floor is really scary if you're scared of heights like I am. But the rest of the view is really something to see.
Very nice spot to see the whole city of Bangkok Thailand...The exciting part is the glass floor ,I really enjoy the fast beat of my heart ...Recommended to all tourist when you visit the thailand...
Fee was 880 Baht and we had to go through a security check like it was an airport, to get a locker you have to have a passport, queue was long and there were a lot of tourists so you can't get a good picture, and speaking about pictures you can't bring your phone on the glass tray so it just defeats the whole purpose of going there, after going down they let you in the 4th floor in their duty free shop so we had to walk through all of it. This place is annoying, busy and expensive I can assure you you can find a better place to spend your money.
I have been looking forward to coming back to Bangkok to check this skywalk out for a long time as I think they are great fun and have done 3 in Malaysia. The admission was 850 baht that's about 23 UK pounds , on arriving at the top it was packed with people mainly Chinese tourists 😣 , as some of you might know are very loud . I donned the shoe covers which they provided and was about to step onto the glass skywalk to start filming, when I was told rather abruptly that you cannot take any form of camera onto the walk way !! And was told if I wanted to film etc , you had to stand behind this line , as it was busy many people were jostling to get a picture etc . The whole point of a skywalk is the view you get looking down , being by myself I had no one to take my picture , I asked a security guard if he could film for me , but this really isn't any good for a good picture or film . If they had made it clear before taking my entrance money I wouldn't have done it . I then thought I would have a drink in the sky bar , the cheapest thing on there was a cheap bottle of water with a 160 baht price tag that's around 4 uk pounds !! On leaving I asked to speak to the manager who told me the no camera policy was for safety reasons ????? There's much better things to do in Bangkok than waste your hard earned money on .
We visited mid morning on a week day and walked straight through, no queues and the viewing platform was almost empty when we go there. We stayed in a hotel close by so we knew that our experience was far from usual - at 10am when the site opens, several coaches of tourist groups arrive so expect long queues. From 4pm until closing also expect queues. It’s worth it for the 360 degree views of the city and the frightening experience of standing on the glass viewing platform. On the way out you’ll be pushed through a maze of shops, similar in style to duty free airport shops or Ikea ... no shortcuts, just grim and bear it over 3 floors or so!
You can view the entire city from the top and the vibe is really nice with the live band and bar area, yet the experience of walking on a glass surface is not as amazing as expected, no adrenaline rush!! The space is too tight and packed with people so it’s super hard to get a nice picture without having people in the background. They don’t allow you to take your phone while standing on the glass so you’ll have to get someone to take the pictures standing behind the barriers. We honestly thought the experience would be much different than that, I wouldn’t say it’s not worth it but lower your expectations.
We visiting the Skywalk as a last minute thing and I am so glad we visited. The views of Bangkok are incredible. Best to get there early so you can miss the crowds and take nice pictures.
If you wish to walk on top of the world this is the right place! All Bangkok at your feet, litterally!
The highest point in Bangkok to see the whole city view. The skywalk opens at 10am. We come in the beginning to avoid crowd, which is very nice because no people will be in your ig photos. The lift ride is interesting with a 4sides projection. The ticket includes the indoor and outdoor viewing deck. All guests must put on the shoe covers to walk on the skywalk and no phones are allowed on the skywalk(but ur frds can help taking photos just right beside the skywalk next to the fences). Overall a very good experience walking 74 floors up in the air, scary but beautiful!
Do not miss out on the thrilling experience to “Skywalk” on the top of Bangkok - visit the 78 stories/314 m high “Mahanakhon” skyscraper and step on to the glass floor up in the sky - if you dare... Also highly recommend to try the “Skyride” at ground level - an even more thrilling Virtual Reality experience of flying high above and between the buildings of Bangkok in your own paraglider simulator.
This is absolutely the best place to have 360 degree view of Bangkok. It's really nice to spend couple of hours. Good for family visit.
Great experience, stunning views and sunsets. Skywalk- It's VERY far down;-) Sale of food, drinks and souvenirs.
Fantastic!!! I loved it!!! Walking in the void at 314 meters high, is a tough experience but full of charm. Try it, really!
Amazing Mahanakhon skywalk. Beautiful skybar with a great view. Come in good time for the sunset, because places are in demand. It was the second time we visited the top and it is definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately, there are a little too many guests up there and a bit of chaos on the glass floor. A bit of a shame that there aren't more seats. Unfortunately, those who sit down cannot enjoy the view for all those standing in front of the glass railing to take selfies again and again. It's a bit of a shame.
Visiting in the morning around 11am was really fantastic. Very few visitors. You could use everything to its full extent without any time restrictions. Fantastic view, great event. The elevator ride was quite an experience - not exactly cheap, but worth every euro/baht!!
Sensational 360 degree view of Bangkok from the (currently) highest building in Thailand. We were there at 10.30 in the morning. No waiting time :-) Please note: Only the smallest bags can be taken. The rest must be deposited in the free locker. If sunglasses, cell phone, etc. don't fit in your pocket, small paper bags are available free of charge. Tip for guests over 60: Entry costs only 250 THB per person, but no packages are available. Take your ID with you! Entertaining video animation during the trip to the 74th floor (view through glass) Cell phones are not allowed on the small glass deck (open air). Photos must therefore be taken from outside. Very good alternative to the Lebua Skybar, as the prices for the drinks here are still very reasonable and the service is extremely friendly. 5 stars fully deserved 😊. The only thing we weren't impressed with was the exit via the shopping floors. Peanuts 😉
Panoramic point over the whole city: you go above 70 floors and once you get to the top the city seems to have no end. The cost of the ticket directly on site was around $20. For Bangkok it's definitely high, but once you're there you can't not go. Climbing onto the glass terrace you have the sensation of walking in space; It may be scary but it will be an exciting experience.
Very modern building and excellent view of the city, however, I went on a Saturday and was extremely crowded which makes it have many queues, to be very hot and to be difficult to take a photo that does not appear a crowd behind.
Up at lightning speed and enjoy the view. It is indeed high and at the time dt there was very quiet. The entrance includes a drink on top of the tower. Spectacular is the glass bottom you can walk on with cloth slippers around your shoes.
We were there first thing in the morning at 10:00. It was still nice and quiet. Few visitors. The elevator ride was very interesting. You don't see it every day. And the view then up there, just stunning and beautiful. Highly recommended.
Years ago from another rooftop seen the building under construction , now off and looking, Very cool beautiful view and special experience on the Skywalk, fortunately it was not crowded when we were there
I went during the day looking forward to the view from the skywalk. You pay quite a bit of entrance fee at the entrance. There is an observation floor and cafe on the way, but you can pass through and go to the roof. The view from the glass floor was superb. The observation deck also offers the best 360-degree view of Bangkok. However, it is too hot, so you may want to enjoy the night view. During the time I visited, there were few people and I was able to stay for a long time, but I don't think I can stay for long because there are many people because there is not a large rooftop space.
I don't know if it's the tallest building in Bangkok, but I went for Skywalk. It is directly connected to Chon Nonsi BTS station. I don't know if it's always or for a limited time, but there was a senior discount (over 60s) showing 250 TB, and both me and my partner could get discounted admission by showing my passport. Save. The elevator will take you to the 74th floor in no time, where you will get 360 degree views of Bangkok city. Then take the elevator to the Skywalk on the 77th floor, where you'll walk on the glass floor in protective overshoes. The first step is scary. I'm still scared after a little while. Cameras and smartphones are not allowed on the floor. Well, I'm glad I got a great deal. Plastic bottles are not allowed even before boarding the elevator on the first floor, and the bottles you have just bought have been confiscated.
