Don't know where to begin but this was honestly one of the best guided tours I have experienced. The price was worth the trip and more. For spending the morning and a little bit of the afternoon it has been one of my most memorable experience here in Thailand. Even though it was pouring (flooding) that didn’t dampen our trip one bit, in fact it made it more adventurous! A big part of the tour wouldn’t have been successful if it wasn’t for Ton! He was very knowledgeable and engaging when conversing about the history of the temples and shrines. Each topic we covered had left me curious for more. For my next Thailand trip I will definitely book again and only request Ton to be my guide.

Ton was an excellent guide. Very friendly and also helpful with going up and down stairs and getting in and out of the canal boat. He was able to think on his feet when the ferry didn’t run and he got us a tuk tuk to get to the other side of the river. He patiently answered all of our questions and was fun to talk with. I wouldn’t hesitate to have him as my guide again.
It’s my first time visiting Thailand and it’s actually very fun and unforgettable. We had an amazing experience exploring Thailand with our tour guide, Ton! 🇹🇭 Despite the rainy weather, we still had so much fun thanks to his great sense of humor, friendly personality, and knowledge. We learned a lot about Buddha, Thai culture, and the history behind the temples we visited. Ton made the entire trip both educational and entertaining, keeping our spirits high even when it rained. Thank you, Ton, for making our Thailand trip so memorable! Highly recommended! 😊🙏✨
Had a great tour and Ton was a perfect guide, I would recommend this tour to everyone, Thank you Ton
The tour was outstanding , but the real highlight was our guide, 1st. She was energetic, knowledgeable and funny. We loved her and would take any tour she leads. A+
My 17 year old daughter and I had a great canal tour (Portuguese settlement, klongs, temples, Buddha’s and Art Village) with our guide Ton. The pace was relaxed, we got lots of interesting information, very lively conversation, beverages and a tasty lunch (in an airconditioned restaurant right on the water). The quiet EV canal boat was definitely a plus. Ton also provided valuable recommendations on must do’s inside and outside of Bangkok and made sure we got on a taxi back to the hotel at the end of the tour. It was an enjoyable half day spent.
Highlight of our time in Bangkok, the tour was well paced allowing time to really experience each stop. Lovely stops for a cold beverage, lunch was wonderful. Our guide Ton was the best, helpful, informative and caring, highly recommend this tour 🙂 🙏
By Ton was great. He found us as we were early at the meeting point and introduced himself. He was very friendly and very nice to our child. It was great tour to be on and see more of Bangkok and understand more of the culture. Ton answered all of our questions. We would definitely go on more tours with Ton.
This experience was a great time. Super chilled, well paced, and varied. I felt I needed a short but broad tour as I was only in Thailand for a couple of days, and this hit the markers. Temple, old city architecture, traditional market, and boar ride on an EV boat, so less guilt there too! Out tour guide, Ton, was super friendly! He didn't make us feel rushed, and spoke great English too! I put on my booking form that I was vegetarian, and the restaurant we went to had plenty of options for me, and the food was great! Overall, a great half day trip, for the money, you cant really beat it!
This was a fascinating tour that got to parts of Bangkok we never would have known about, and saw parts we did from a whole new perspective (on the canal). I won't spoil everything you'll see and do, but it's well worth your time to experience it. Our guide was Kaudao who was excellent. She was so knowledgeable and genuinely interested in sharing this with us. She even took us round the flower market before we started the full tour. We would have liked a little more time at Artist's House, but we saw so much on the day it would have been hard to pack it all on otherwise. Thoroughly recommend!
Pond was a very knowledgeable and helpful guide throughout the whole tour. A comfortable amount of time on land and water. Very Enjoyable trip, great for taking photos. Thanks Pond.
This was my favorite trip in Bangkok! Our tour guide, Shin, was extremely knowledgeable about the tour and did his best to make sure we had a good time. It rained while we were touring and Shin provided umbrellas for each of us which was very nice and considerate. We did not feel rushed as we were given time to explore each location. Thonburi was my favorite part of Bangkok. The charm of the homes, the people, and the location gave an energy and vibe completely different than the bustling side of Bangkok. The views from the canal was incredible especially as we approached the Big Golden Buddha. The museums, cafes, and tucked away alleyways provided even further charm. Just visiting on this tour, confirmed that I will be staying in this area when I return to Thailand. Thank you Shin for this introduction and a great outing!!
Uma Is the best tour guide full stop
Tuta was very attentive at breakfast. The view is amazing with the soft sound of the ocean. What a way to start the day
Amazing guide… very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed seeing the Portuguese area, Big Buddha and artist residence. Highly recommend.
Very professional tour of secret parts of Bangkok. It was a well organised tour from start to finish our guide was excellent with funny stories about the history of the parts of Bangkok we visited
Great tour with Kris. Amazing on the EV boat on Thonburi side , lovely food and drinks included. Highlight of our trip so far. This tour company is a class apart. Kris speaks excellent English. We learned a lot about not only the things we saw, but also Thai culture and history. Would thoroughly recommend booking this EV Boat tour with Magical Trip. Book it, you won’t regret it.
Very nice Thonburi canal and artist village tour with lovely Aey. Enjoyed her enthusiasm, the interesting information provided and the advice for good food places. Definitely recommend! Khob khun mak khrap!
Pond, our tour guide was sweet and extremely informative. She told us about the history of Bangkok and gave informative tours of temples and the artist house. It was great going on the electric boat, much quieter and calmer than the other boats on the canal. We had a wonderful time and wish to extend our gratitude to a great tour guide. If you get a chance, we highly recommend this tour.
The Tour was fantastic, if you are looking for a calming break from Bangkok’s business but still wanting to sight see the temples and local areas this tour would be perfect. The canal trip was in a electric boat meaning the tour guides could explain the temples surrounding the canal. This also enabled us to really take in the sights. The guides themselves were informative, kind and didn’t rush us. We were even 15 minutes late due to traffic and they waited for us and escorted us to the next meeting point. The canal boat ride was peaceful and paced well. The lunch was delicious and it felt like you saw so much in such a short amount of time. Would highly recommend this tour. Simply amazing!!
Fantastic tour with Kris. Super friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Absolutely recommend the tour. Thanks Kris!!! Happy new year!
A wonderful, well-curated canal experience that felt both personal and authentic. Our local guide, Pond, was attentive and thoughtful throughout—helping us on and off the boat, guiding us through temples, and taking care of all the small details, from drinks and snacks to lunch and our final taxi connection to the BTS. The quiet electric boat made the journey especially enjoyable as we moved slowly through the canals, offering peaceful views of neighborhood life, temples, and even a few monitor lizards. It was an unhurried, responsible way to experience a different side of Bangkok, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for something more meaningful than a standard tour.
I had a lovely tour with magical trip Bangkok! The travel with electric boat was amazing! We saw beautiful temples, ate amazing food (includes), free drinks and desserts. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. Definitely a trip to book!
This tour was a lovely mix of walking and a boat ride through Thonburi. We explored a historic Portuguese neighborhood with tiny lanes, a small local museum and family run bakeries, then cruised the canals past wooden houses, temples and gardens. Seeing the giant golden Buddha of Wat Paknam from the water was really a highlight. The group was small, the guide was kind and knowledgeable, lots of history and the whole experience felt very local and calm. It’s a great half-day away from the busy city.
Great tour, beautiful places and locals. The tour guide was really cool and knowledgeable. The boat ride was very relaxing and we could really appreciate the scenery. I loved it.
Highly recommend! The tour was extremely well-organized from start to finish, and our guide was both knowledgeable and passionate. We learned so much about Thai history, local traditions, and hidden cultural stories that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. The schedule was nicely balanced, not rushed at all ! And we even got to try some amazing local food that truly reflected the flavors of Thailand. Overall, it was an insightful, fun, and memorable experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Thailand.
Great laid back tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and when they didn’t have an answer off hand they would do research and come back with the answer. The boat trip was relaxing and a great way to see the other side of bangkok
I joined a canal tour in Bangkok and had a wonderful experience. It was fascinating to see the daily lives of local people along the canals, and the view of the Big Buddha from the boat was absolutely beautiful. We also had a great time shopping at a local market by the river, which made the experience even more special. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing lots of interesting information throughout the tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok!
Well organised trip starting with a ferry trip then EV Boat, temple visits, Portuguese village and nice local lunch. Trip included an informative guide Khun Shin.
I've been on several tours with this company and they are always excellent. This one was probably my favorite out of all of them. Beautiful scenery, great food, and the guide was terrific.
Our recent tour in Bangkok was an absolute dream, offering a truly unique and authentic perspective on the city far from the usual tourist trails. Every moment was perfectly curated, revealing the rich tapestry of culture and history that lies just beneath the surface. We began in the riverside charm of Kudichin Village, a place where time seems to slow down. The Portuguese-inspired sweets were a delightful and unexpected treat, and the historic Santa Cruz Church stood as a beautiful testament to the fascinating blend of Thai and Portuguese heritage. It was the perfect, peaceful start to our adventure. The scenic EV Canal Cruise was a highlight. Gliding silently along Bangkok's hidden canals on the eco-friendly boat felt magical. With a refreshing drink in hand, we watched serene temples, lush riverside communities, and the vibrant tapestry of local life drift by. It was such a relaxing and intimate way to see the city. The visit to Wat Pak Nam was simply breathtaking. Stepping into this sacred space, we were in awe of the magnificent white pagoda and the gleaming golden Buddhas. The temple is a stunning example of how ancient beliefs and modern brilliance can come together to create something truly awe-inspiring. Finally, the Artist Village was a burst of creative energy! It's a lively hub of street art, quirky cafés, and incredible talent. Wandering through the narrow, colorful alleys felt like discovering a hidden treasure. The whole area buzzes with a creative spirit that is completely infectious. I cannot recommend this tour enough. It was a perfect blend of history, culture, relaxation, and art. If you're looking to experience the true heart of Bangkok, this is the way to do it!
An ideal tour to discover a very nice area of the city. The Magical Trip Bangkok organization and guiding was perfect: boat on time, you will also have some time to visit for your own, the food was very good!! 100% recommended.
This was a great day out. The guides were very informative and we learned about the history and culture of the area. It combined river boat trip, temple tour and museum visit, rounded off with a lovely lunch. Highly recommended.
Has a great time on the canal tour. Learned a ton, got some beautiful photos, and we had a bit of free time to explore on our own. The restaurant we got lunch at had tons of options.
An experience off the beaten track, made of continuous discoveries rich in cultural and spiritual significance, led by a special guide, Uma, passionate, precise, attentive and very prepared. Both Uma and her colleague in the office were so patient to guide us to the meeting point, which we could not find because we got the wrong subway exit and they waited for us! The route is well thought-out and alternates walking experiences in unexpected areas in contact with locals and by electric boat between canals, where suddenly you will find yourself taking a trip back in time and seeing Bangkok's largest buddha. Top lunch with local dishes. Not only that, Uma gave us valuable tips to end our day in a splendid way Thank you very much! Day of indimenti
Super nice boat trip!!!! With visit to several temples. Especially the visit to the golden buddha was great! Be sure to visit the 5th floor!!! Wowww. 🙏🤩 We ended the tour with a delicious lunch in a restaurant in the Art House Area. 🙏🤩 Delicious Thai meal, crispy pork! 😋
