Our tour with Tom was fantastic. It was tailored exactly to our interest and pace. Tom gave lots of historical and cultural information that helped us really appreciate what we were seeing. The only improvement would be pick-up/meeting point. The meeting address was different between Viator and City Unscripted, which caused some confusion. The meeting point was also in the other direction from our hotel from the sites on the tour, which added transit time and cost. But would still absolutely book again! A great day in Bangkok!

Peach took us on a six-hour tour of Bangkok, starting at the Grand Palace, then a long-tail boat trip along the river, and finishing at Wat Pho to see the Reclining Buddha. It was a fascinating day and perfectly paced, with no rushing and plenty of time to take it all in. Peach was knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Highly recommended!

Stunning temples! We visited incredible sacred sites with breathtaking architecture and golden details. Our expert guide Ida shared deep knowledge about Thai history and Buddhist traditions. She added a personal touch suprising my wife with a thoughtful honeymoon gift.
Highly highly recommend this tour!! Ida was our guide and she was absolutely brilliant! She contacted us a couple of weeks before we arrived to plan what we wanted to do, and she planned everything out (including breaks because it was so hot!) which made the experience super easy. Ida met us at the hotel and took us around everything we had asked to see, she had lots of knowledge and experience and was very bubbly and chatty. As well as the tour, Ida provided us with lots of information about other recommended things to do in Bangkok so we have been able to make some more plans to see local highlights whilst we’re here. The sights are amazing and Ida made navigating super easy and her knowledge meant we got the most out of the tour and what we were seeing. Would 100% recommend this activity!
Confusion about meeting point, which was not Tom's fault, or ours, meant the tour was an hour late starting. Luckily Tom waited for us, so we didn't miss out on the tour. Tom was very knowledgeable and helpful. We did expect that cost of transport would be included in price of tour

I’ve had a few different hosts during my trip, and Tom stands out by far. He is professional, knowledgeable, and very intentional in how he plans the day. What made this experience so special is that it was not a standard “tourist” tour. It was completely tailored. We moved away from typical tourist spots and I got to really experience the real Thailand. Tom went out of his way and shared history, culture, and local insight I saw places and understood things I would never have discovered on my own. Everything was seamless from start to finish. He knew exactly how to navigate everything, which made the entire day feel effortless. This experience is absolutely worth the money. What a great tour of Bangkok!Thinking ahead and knowing our time was short (4 hours), Kat booked us an air conditioned van to expedite our travel between locations. And in light of the heat and traffic, we were so thankful to have it. Kat was absolutely fantastic. She was kind, resourceful and engaged. She worked with our sightseeing interests, attention spans and dining preferences. We accomplished everything we wanted to accomplish and then some in a short time frame. Our group of five greatly enjoyed and highly recommend this tour, and especially Kat.
The experience was off from the beginning. I recieved communication requesting I fill out a form with my preference for the tour. The follow up response indicated my submission wasn't read. I messaged the "guide" directly inform of our preferences for sites including our time frames and she agreed. No communication the morning of the tour so I messaged again to confirm. "Guide" drove us to only one of four agreed upon sites saying one closed early on Fridays (why not mention this when agreeing to take us?). She provided almost no information on the site she did take us to without us asking questions and she was about to leave the site without taking us to an important piece of it until we walked itlnto it ourselves. Again, no information provided. Later she dropped us at a dock and BTS station and told us we could take the metro back to our hotel or continue to Asiatique on our own. So basically we paid for a taxi service, not a tour. The customer service representative was understanding and provided a partial refund which is appreciated however we lost out on our only day of siteseeing in Bangkok by chosing this "tour."

We literally had 6 hours to ‘do Bangkok’ as we were flying in and out on the same day. Sam was our guide and he was brilliant. He was very accommodating with our time constraints and produced a bespoke itinerary which meant we got to see some of the highlights of Bangkok supplemented by Sam’s knowledge, enthusiasm and explanations of Thai culture. Would 100% recommend Sam as a guide.
It was great experience. We visited exactly what i was interested-Gem gallery and bookstores and other Bangkok famous places like park Lumphini. The guide Tom was very knowledgeable and I learn many things about Bangkok and Thailand in general from him.He was also very friendly and help me throughout the journey. We also used Skytrain and the subway of Bangkok which was new and very interesting for me. Overall it was great experience.

I took a half day tour of the off the beaten path of Bangkok. Kat was gracious enough to meet me at the hotel I’m staying. She took me to places that were not the usual. The Klong Bang Luang (Yai Canal), Chom Thong (Poonjai Garden), Thonburi district…it was an experience that I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own. I had my share of the best lunch (at a Michelin star restaurant in Thonburi) and best desserts in town! Just be ready to shell out extra for transportation and food (appx another $100 excluding gratuity) as these are not included in the booking. Thank you Kat for showing me around!
If you want to experience the hidden and non-touristy Bangkok, then go with City Unscripted! Our host Kat made us forget about the chaotic capital by taking us to a peaceful cruise in the canals where we could enjoy stunning temples and local houses, as well as the giant golden Buddha statue. During the cruise Kat was really great in explaining us the local lifestyle, culture and history and she was always open to answer all the questions with her contagious smile. After the cruise she took us to a urban natural oasis where (believe me!) we didn’t feel like being in such a chaotic city and were we ate the best pad thai we had in Thailand. Shout out to Kat, we’ll come back!

The Legendary Kat was in fact awesome. It was like having a tour with a friend. She went at our pace, set the schedule per our tastes, and adjusted on the fly. We had a great time, and can highly recommend this tour package, and Kat in particular. For transportation and entrance fees, you need to have about B3000 to B4000 for a couple, extra for spending money, and of course tips!

We had a walking tour of the main attractions in Bangkok. We started at the flower market , did a trip around the canal , had lunch and finished with the Gran Palace. Our guide, Buay was wonderful. Full of historical knowledge . I also wanted to buy some things and he took me to the store that had exactly what i wanted. Overall a great experience

We had an excellent tour which Kat planned around our times. We visited Wat Pho and the reclining Buddha in the early morning. Amazing and beautiful with few people around so we could enjoy it. Then we visited Wot Arun The temple of Dawn. The detail of the temple was astounding and Kat gave us time to wander while explaining the history. Ida is friendly, great fun to be with and has a great energy. Nothing is too much trouble, she is very kind and considerate and her communication skills are great. We visited the flower market, Wat Pho temple, then took a public river boat to Wat Arun temple. We stopped for a gorgeous Thai lunch, tried a tok sen Thai hammer massage, and stopped for coffee at a gorgeous little cafe overlooking the temple, where we tried Thai tea crepe cake. Ida then gave us loads of ideas for our remaining time in Bangkok, and showed us how to use the Subway. We had a wonderful day and we think that Ida is simply the best!
