This is an excellent experience. You get to see two of the most popular temples in Bangkok as well as the Grand Palace and all before noon. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, kind and made sure to take pictures of us at every stop to help us make important memories.

The Grand Palace is Bangkok’s most iconic landmark and a symbol of Thailand’s rich history and royal heritage. Built in 1782, this magnificent complex once served as the royal residence of Thai kings for over 150 years. Within its ornate walls lies Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. With its dazzling golden spires, intricate carvings, and stunning architecture, the Grand Palace remains a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Bangkok.
Located within the Grand Palace complex, Wat Phra Kaew is Thailand’s most sacred Buddhist temple and home to the revered Emerald Buddha, a highly venerated statue carved from a single block of jade. Built in 1782, the temple is renowned for its intricate architecture, vibrant murals, and exquisite golden details that reflect the spiritual and artistic heart of Thai culture. A visit here offers a glimpse into Thailand’s royal and religious heritage.
Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon, is right behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha – it’s a must-see for any first-time visitor to Bangkok. As one of the largest temple complexes in the city, it’s famed for its giant reclining Buddha that is 46 metres long, covered in gold leaf. This an A World Heritage Site
Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is a landmark temple on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya river. It’s easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location but also because the design is very different from the other temples you can visit in the Thai capital. Wat Arun (nicknamed the 'Temple of Dawn') is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.

The guide was good when it comes to information, history of places visited. However when I book tour it says that everything was included including the entrance fee, I ended up paying. The tour guide also recommended (pushes me) to go to a massage that was not part of the tour and it was highly costed and a jewelry exchange, I guess they get commission for this. However she accommodated to a change on the tour I suggested it. Overall she is good, just the facts mentioned above. If I recommend this company to anyone, I will alert them about it
Removing of shoes is required to enter most wholly places. It is a common practice to remove footwear before entering many sacred spaces. This custom shows respect for the solemnity of the environment. Such traditions are deeply rooted in the cultural and religious significance of these places. Observing this practice helps maintain the purity and sanctity of the area. We kindly request that you comply with this important custom during your visit.
Wonderful guide. Saw all major sites. Tour included transportation Was all I could have wanted. Thanks to my guide, Oh
Nina was amazing! She felt like a part of our family. Friendly and hospitable. Vey knowledgeable about the are and all the history of the temples. She was efficient and got us through evrything in a timely manner withour rushing. She even had recommendations of where to go, and not to go including food/restaurants for delicious authentic Thai food. She provided umbrellas, and water bottles. The ride was clean and smooth. She was funny and also explained Thai etiquette. She called out those that were disobeying the rules but in a polite way. Highly recommend taking her tour. We even experienced a tuk tuk ride and a ferry ride.
We had a great day tour with Pat, he was really nice knowledgeable and very kind. I think it was the perfect length of a tour.
A great option for someone who has a one day stopover in Bangkok. Doing the afternoon session means you can have a sleep in and miss the morning crowds. The itinerary and guide were both just what I wanted. And it was only my husband and I, so a private tour :-) Unfortunately, one of the reasons for choosing this tour was the promise of an air-conditioned car and we didn't have that. We started with a river cruise to the grand palace and emerald Buddha on an air-conditioned boat, then a tuk tuk to the reclining Buddha ( wat pho), then a ferry across the river to the temple of dawn. These were all typical Bangkok tourist experiences, but it was too hot for me.
The host did a magnificent job of making sure that everyone stayed together. She took her time explaining all of the different traditions and rituals of Thailand temples and even gave us the history of the king and Queens and the different types of statues. I really enjoyed learning about thailand with Miss Cindy.
We booked the private "Bangkok Heritage Highlights" tour and it was worth every penny. Our guide, Cindy, was absolutely incredible. She didn’t just recite dates and facts; she brought the history and culture of Thailand to life with such passion. Beyond her knowledge, Cindy really looked after us. From finding the best photo spots to keeping us hydrated and comfortable, we truly felt like we were getting the VIP treatment. If you’re looking for a seamless, educational, and personalized experience of the Grand Palace and the Three Temples, ask for Cindy!
We had a wonderful afternoon exploring the highlights of Bangkok with our wonderful tour guide Nina who was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. This tour is also ideal as they get you to each location but numerous ferries, tuk-tuk which made navigating very simple overall.
Great tour! Great guide! As the tour title implies, it hits all the temples & palace highlights in this half-day tour. No one else booked our group tour; and, rather than canceling, Viator gave us a private tour. Our guide, Pat, was a superb professional; prompt, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He offered lots of things to do and ways to do them that made the experience feel customized; including transportation - we took a Tuk-Tuk and a river ferry. It was our first time visiting Bangkok and this was a great introduction.
We took the private experience which provided us insight into what we were looking at, strongly recommend if you don’t know the culture or language.
We had an incredible experience on our tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our tour guide, Pat. He was absolutely amazing—extremely knowledgeable, well-educated, and truly passionate about what he does. Pat shared such rich insight into the history of Thailand, Buddhism, the temples, and the royal family, which made every stop meaningful and engaging. We booked a private/personal tour, which included hotel pickup for an additional charge, and it made the entire experience so much more convenient and stress-free. From start to finish, everything was seamless. Beyond his expertise, Pat’s customer service was top-tier. He was polite, professional, and had a great sense of humor that kept the experience fun and relaxed throughout the day. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. I would highly recommend Pat to anyone looking for an informative, enjoyable, and well-organized tour in Thailand. This experience exceeded our expectations!
Tour guide communication was effective and to top it off. she had a wealth of historical knowledge. From the start she was welcoming, friendly and just fun to be around.
We had a lovely day seeing the sites with our guide, it was a shorter tour than expert, but we saw everything that we wanted to see. It was more than expected!
Our tour guide Toon was very knowledgeable and took care of us well. We were able to enjoy the historical sites and take pictures to our full!
This experience was an interesting one. The tour guide contacted me the night before to confirm my booking. I showed up 30 mins early to ensure I was at our meeting point early. 5 mins after my starting time I messaged my tour guide who informed me he was sick and I would be joining another guide. Another 15 mins pass and I asked for an eta. I wasn’t contacted until 30 mins after the starting time and was told I was standing in the wrong location. I sent them a time stamped picture at my starting time of the meeting point as proof. I was informed the tour had already started and I would need to take the boat ferry to the palace. Not a big deal but unfortunately the water taxi I got broke down on the way (not the tour guides fault) but led to an almost 1.5 hr delay from my starting time. The tour guide was accommodating and took me solo to the palace at the end of the tour. Overall for the price I did not find the tour informative. I am glad I had a great tour I booked on Airbnb in Chiang Mai where I learned a lot more history. I think you can likely find cheaper options for what they are providing with this tour. I also read some Google reviews on this company and my experience on pickup is not unique. The guide later told me she saw me but didn’t think I was with her and had the incorrect phone number for me provided by her company. All though she tried her best to make a good situation out of a bad experience I would think twice before you spend this amount for this tour.
We had a wonderful day! First a ferry ride which was awesome. Then all the temples. It was crowed but our guides took great care of us. I would recommend!
Our guide Pat was very nice and knowledgeable. First stop was Wat Pho at opening so not crowded. After that, next two stops very crowded
Well organized and efficient way to experience Bangkok Temple and Palace highlights. Mr. Panu was a superb, well informed, and enthusiastic tour guide, who clearly loves his city where he has grown up.
Overall, it was a good experience and having a guide helped move efficiently from one location to another. But I think the waiting time should be clearly communicated to all the travelers so we are not waiting too long for other travelers who are running late. Also, the strict dress code for the Grand Palace should be distinguished from the other temples where a scarf to cover up the shoulders is allowed
Had a very enjoyable experience and guide was superb . Be careful time of day at sites and keep aware of pick pockets.
While it was a group tour, it was only my partner and I so it provided a more intimate feel. Our tour guide Pat was very nice and knowledgeable. He allowed time for pictures and thoroughly explained the different temples plus more. Unlike, many of the other tours, time stuck in traffic was not included in the tour time, so you’ll get your moneys worth!
Brilliant trip. Communication from the guide was excellent detailing pick up place and time , even a photo of her which was so helpful. Transport was clean , and the driver very good the whole experience was great Thank you Cindy
The Bangkok’s Three Temples Tour is a great way to visit some of the most famous temples in Bangkok. Our guide Nina was great and it was very beneficial to have her expertise and guidance navigating to and through the temple sites. We took a Tuk Tuk, a ferry, a long tail boat and car (air conditioned!) and it was a great experience!
Great insight into Bangkoks temple’s monuments and special places. The river cruise was fabulous and full of surprises. Highly recommended.
An absolute Must! Our private tour to the “Must See” temples, the Golden Palace and Emerald Buddha with Cindy and her driver was fantastic. Cindy was extremely knowledgeable, very well spoken, kind and attentive. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. These certainly were the “Must See” temples. Thank you for such a great tour! Highly recommended.
I booked a private temples tour + grand palace with a stop for lunch. I booked with them again because I thought it’d be good. I even requested the same guide as last time and was given a rude response. This time we had an elder woman who had some very uncomfortable and xenophobic views. At the end of the tour we were taken to a jewellery store and pressured to spend money. Such a scam honestly. And a betrayal of our trust as tourists under their care.
Mr Panu was excellent! He is very knowledgeable and an excellent photographer. He took many pictures of our family and sent them to me immediately. We were very pleased with this your and appreciated his communications with the driver who be arrive very shortly after we visited each temple. I highly suggest Mr Panu.
My tour guide was knowledgeable about history, efficient in planning my tour and very understanding. He assisted me in all my needs and made sure that enjoyed my 4 hrs on the tour, and remaining days in Thailand. I could say that this tour with my tour guide back then was definitely worth it.
Had a fun time with my guide YUI! She was lovely and did a great job teaching me about Thai culture! Highly recommend
Great guide that was very thorough. Rained and he had umbrellas and ponchos for us. Traffic was terrible on the way back to the hotel so he took the skyway with us. Recommend!
The temples had been preserved well historically. Still standing tall and captivating. Cleanliness taken care well around the area.
Amazing team they made my day we saw the best Tempales they told me the story for each one. The car was clean and they provided cold water
This was a great few hours spent with a fantastic guide. We learnt so much and saw some amazing temples. Would definitely recommend booking this tour
Our tour guide Cindy exceeded our expectations! We selected a half day tour because we were traveling with our toddler and knew she wouldn’t be able to make it a full day. Cindy was very kind and patient toward our daughter, and the private driver/van was perfect for us. Cindy easily answered any of our questions about the temples and was very informative throughout each of the stops. For anyone wondering, we brought our collapsible stroller and had no problem at most of the sites wheeling it around and bringing it in and out of the van. Most of the temples have steps and curbs you have to navigate with a stroller, but it’s doable (Cindy often helped). She also recommended that we add a fourth stop to the morning, if we wanted - the grand palace - since we had some extra time. This ended up being my husbands favorite spot. We had a great morning!
Cindy, our tour guide was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable of the sites plus other information
This was great! They made the tour very easy and enjoyable! I highly recommend them! Thank you so much! They took care of everything!
Tour was well encompassing and held a fair bit of information. There could have been more of an explanation of history, so it felt more like a sight seeing and photo tour. Would have enjoyed more knowledge and facts than what was on the entrance cards or tourist facts signs. Also, communication in English had its minor downfalls. Overall a good tour for first timers looking to see some sights and major picture spots with a friendly guide and driver.
Having someone to inform you about things. Guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Got to enjoy the trip with my mother.
This is a very worthwhile trip. The itinerary and follow up from Viator was great. The problem we had was with our tour guide as he constantly bothered us getting us to go to gem and diamond scams as well as tourist shops. We declined every time and they still drove us to the sales presentation against our will. After the presentation we insisted on leaving and the guide stood in front of us trying to get us to go back inside against our will. We then had to wait over 30 minutes for a ride to get back to our hotel. Viator was great following up after we reported them but anyone taking this trip needs to be careful not all operators are reputable and they will take you to scam locations for high pressure sales against your will.
I had a great experience with "Ohm" (spell check) going around for a tour that was not too long. He was funny, extremely smart, spoke good English, took care of our group, and taught me a lot. I learned a lot about Buddhism and the history of Thailand/Bangkok going back to government, culture, and wars. Bus was on time to move us around. I highly recommend this trip.
I had a mind blowing tour to Bangkok being with the tour guide it was a great experience.Fantastic tour
All these temples replicate a real value of thai culture and tradition. I am glad that i could be a part of this tour .it was damn awesome.
Great place , fun , great history and culture .lot many places to visit in Thailand . It was a leisure tour for me . The best part was the tour guide who was very patient and calm . Thanks to tour operator .
