We did the Grand palace and temple of Emerald Buddha. This was a guided tour. She was okay however did speak about the power of meditation in depth for too long without knowing our own situations which I felt a little condescending. She assumed we didn’t practice and I think made the others on the tour a little uncomfortable I would say you can do this alone as the leaflet you can pick up in the grounds is very extensive. As we were not doing anything after we managed to go to the included cultural show via the free shuttle tram excellent

It was on enjoyable experience. The poor guy was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had enough time to take pictures and hear the history of the and stories.

Ampha Thanyawan or her nickname 'Mild' , was the best tour guide and gave us an amazing experience of Bangkoks amazing temples. Ampha Thanyawan Made sure we got the best photos. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the temples and took time to explain everything. We had a great time and would recommend this tour to any visitors to Bangkok!!

What a great tour. So much to learn from Paula. She is a fanatical royalist that is so knowledgeable. The area is as in a little chaos with the commemorative activities for the death of the kings sister. The Buddha was hard to see due to some renovations but you could see it. Easy calling and listening. A great tour and well worth the time.

Paula was absolutely amazing. We did the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace. She stopped and took lots of photos for us. Explained everything. Her English is brilliant too.

Paula was funny, knowledgeable, and prioritized our comfort. She made sure we had plenty of opportunities to sit in the shade or near fans while she explained the history behind the architecture. She let us know when and where there would be bathroom breaks and kept us on schedule without rushing. She even took time after the tour ended to make sure we got to our train stops, Grab pickup points, etc. My friend went on a self guided tour of the Grand Palace 8 years ago and said it was a totally different experience having a guide--he enjoyed it so much more and we both learned a lot. Our tourguide Paula made a good job, answered all our questions, made good photos (it was a private tour, so this was possible), showed the best photo spots, and explained the facts and culture of the palace and the temple very well.
