Pat did a great job showing us all of the temples, taking pictures for us, and giving us an extensive history lesson of the country and events of the day (king and queen coming to visit). We had a great time!

The Grand Palace is Bangkok’s most iconic landmark and a symbol of Thailand’s rich history and royal heritage. Built in 1782, this magnificent complex once served as the royal residence of Thai kings for over 150 years. Within its ornate walls lies Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. With its dazzling golden spires, intricate carvings, and stunning architecture, the Grand Palace remains a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Bangkok.
Located within the Grand Palace complex, Wat Phra Kaew is Thailand’s most sacred Buddhist temple and home to the revered Emerald Buddha, a highly venerated statue carved from a single block of jade. Built in 1782, the temple is renowned for its intricate architecture, vibrant murals, and exquisite golden details that reflect the spiritual and artistic heart of Thai culture. A visit here offers a glimpse into Thailand’s royal and religious heritage.
Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon, is right behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha – it’s a must-see for any first-time visitor to Bangkok. As one of the largest temple complexes in the city, it’s famed for its giant reclining Buddha that is 46 metres long, covered in gold leaf. This an A World Heritage Site
Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is a landmark temple on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya river. It’s easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location but also because the design is very different from the other temples you can visit in the Thai capital. Wat Arun (nicknamed the 'Temple of Dawn') is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.

“O” was our guide and she was great, very patient, and addressed all our questions. I could see her guiding experience show through as she assessed our level of interest (and flagging energy late in the tour) on certain topics and adjusted her presentation to include mini-lessons about Thai history and culture. We felt in good hands!
A wonderful experience with Pat the guide making it even more amazing with his shared knowledge and perfect English. Rey highly recommended.
Pat was an amazing guide with vast knowledge of Thai culture and history. It was a perfect way to start our Thailand holiday.
Thank you Pat for an amazing experience! Very informative and we learned a lot regarding the culture and history of Thailand! A must try to all tourist especially when traveling to Thailand for the first time :)
Pat was very informative and easy to understand. In addition to our tour he recommended other experiences which was very useful . Unfortunately we could not see the emerald Buddha as the King was due to make a visit but this did not detract from the overall experience.
Our host Cindy and driver Sam were very nice and really informative. Told us a lot of information about the temples and the king
We had a wonderful time visiting the Temples of Bangkok and learning about their history. Our wonderful guide Nina was a pleasure to have with us. She gave us information and many detail. Just a great must-do experience 😁
I'm so thankful we booked this tour! Nina was the best tour guide, so knowledgeable, so patient, so great with kids! We brought a 5 and 3 year old on the tour and had we not booked the tour we are not have been able to see so many different sites. We would have only been able to see maybe one of the sites if we went on our own. But with Nina she pointed out the best places to take pics, told us all about things about the site we wouldn't have known if we went by ourselves. Nina is the best and I also recommended this tour to all my friends and to anyone who comes to Bankok, especially if you have young kids and want to see the temples! Thank you Nina! We had so much fun! The pics are great too!
Best experience! Mr. Panu was so knowledgeable, patient with our photo taking and really just a good time! He had waters for us and wipes when needed. He was prepared for the day and knew his stuff! Definitely would recommend.
This is such an easy fun way to see three major sights in less than 4 hours. Mr. Panu was friendly, funny and very informative! He took care of me in the heat with water, an umbrella and a battery operated handheld fan. As a solo traveler, I appreciated that Mr. Panu took a lot of pictures of me in every location and suggested fun poses. Half way through the tour, we rode a short distance in a tuk tuk! I really enjoyed that part as it felt safe and fun. For the hotel pickup/drop off and the longer ride between sights, we had the same driver who was prompt! The air conditioning in his vehicle was such a treat.
This tour packs a big punch for 1/2-day tour to the temples. If you are short on time in Bangkok this is the tour for you. Nina out tour guide was exceptional, full of information and kept the pace according to your ability. You see all the top temples and even a fun Tuk Tuk ride, she will help with shopping needs and the stop for refreshing Thai Tea (iced cold) is a treat for sure. She provides the transport from location to location, a/c van to ferry to keep the tour moving. Also, she is brilliant at taking those coveted photos we all want to show our friends back home. A trip to Bangkok is not complete until you get an education on those top temples, lots of history! Book it and ask for Nina she will take good care of you. Carole and Paul Burnett
Nina was an excellent guide! She was very sweet, shared a lot of interesting information about the temples and Thai history generally, and even taught us how to ride the subway so we could easily get to our next destination. Would recommend!
A wonderful tour, but just a bit of advice wear pants to the royal palace. It’s required for men. You can buy some really cool pants right around the palace if you forget. Our tour guide Pen was amazing and full of knowledge she has been a tour guide since 1990 so she knows her way around this huge city.
This tour was one of the more disappointing financially. It cost me an additional 100 US on top of the price. They said air conditioned car, that was only to the first place and that was it. I paid transportation costs after that. I did not calculate fast enough or I would have declined the boat ride which came out to 55US. It was not worth the cost and the tour I definately could have done on my own. Just beware.
Mr. Panu was knowledgeable and accommodating to myself and my mother throughout the excursion. He provided us with a wealth of knowledge and facts about the historical institutions and Thai culture. We had to worry about nothing and when my elderly mother became a little bit overheated from the heat, he had sun umbrellas and fans at the ready. He even told us where the good shopping was and provided us safely back to our hotel.
My tour guide Nina was amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable but also very fun. She went above and beyond in assisting me with my transportation and luggage as I was coming and going from the airport rather than hotel. She was genuinely so sweet and kind, she is a wonderful representative of Bangkok and Thailand. I would highly recommend her!
Great experience! They picked me up at hotel and dropped off at each location. Pat was the tour guide and was the best! Knowledgable, nice, and had great recommendations.
Fascinating city and the tour guides knowledge made it an enjoyable experience
Excellent from booking to actual guided tour. Easy to book, contact made straightaway and when there was a change of timing, I was informed promptly. Pick up from hotel was an option and was contacted by driver straightaway when he arrived. Only downside is the weather was 42’ C and humid so take your umbrella , sun block, fan, water( water was available on the tour van) . Glad we took the tour. Thank you
Our tour of Bangkok’s Royal Palace and Wat Arun was truly a highlight of our trip. Both sites were absolutely breathtaking—the intricate details of the Grand Palace and the stunning beauty of Wat Arun left us in awe. It was the perfect way to experience Thailand’s rich history and architectural brilliance. What made the experience even more special was our guide, Nina. She provided exceptional service throughout the tour, always warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. Her deep knowledge of the cultural and historical significance of each site brought everything to life in a meaningful way. She shared insights and stories that gave us a much deeper appreciation for what we were seeing. Thanks to Nina, this tour was not only informative but also engaging and memorable. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bangkok.
Really a great 1/2 day tour. We can only recommned to do it. We had two quick river boat tours, quick Tuk Tuk tour and had great fun visiting The great palace and theee Buddhas. Guide was perfect.
The temples and Grand Palace are amazing. Such history and our guide, Cindy, was so passionate about her country and its people. She was so interesting to talk to during the tour. Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.
All sites visited were very interesting and the time allotted was perfect. Our guide, Mr. Panu was excellent. He was very informative and well prepared, he brought umbrellas for the rain and sun. He also brought battery operated fans to keep us cool. I would highly recommend doing this tour with Mr. Panu.
Great tour of the Grand Palace and major temples. All entrance fees are included which makes things much easier. Our guide Nina was great fun, very knowledgeable and takes fantastic photos
Wonderful walk but not for the faint of heart. Be prepared for the history of Thailand and immersion into the culture of the Buddha. Also be prepared to follow modesty guideline for visiting Buddhist temples.
Grand palace and three iconic temples are the best to visit in Thailand. Our guide Mr. Panu is very knowledgeable and friendly and intelligent. He is also best taking our family pictures. 👍 We highly recommend booking through Viator. Day before our trip our tickets are ready and we booked transportation too and is on time. Really appreciate there punctuality. Thanks 🙏
Guide was not very informative. We had to keep asking questions to get information about the visited sites and that information was also very limited
Me Panu, Thank you for a wonderful day in Bangkok! You are the best. So patient, helpful and full of information to bring it all together! Lunch was great and that you thought about the air-conditioning was so nice. I hope your life is full of blessings.
Private tour booked for family of five - Poor quality van and substandard tour guide. Children did not understand what she was saying - poor English and little effort to make the tour fun and engaging.
We had a wonderful tour! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and you could tell how much she truly loves her country. She shared so much interesting information throughout the day. We visited several beautiful temples, and the Grand Palace was absolutely unforgettable — it’s definitely not to be missed. Highly recommend!
Wonderful private Bangkok city tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the driver was excellent. Everything was well organized and tailored to our group. A great way to see the city.
Highly over priced for what you get. Regret booking this - could have had a full day tour with meals for a lesser price. Customer support poor/ non existent
Had a great time with Pat seeing the fascinating sites of Bangkok. Mr Pat is very knowledgeable about hidden treasure and must see sites. Thank you for all the recommendations of what to do after the tour.
Absolutely perfect day. Was 4.5 hours— saw all the amazing spots. Our tour guide gave us such rich and interesting culture and history facts. Loved that it was only a 1/2 day. Couldn’t recommend more!
Lovely tour guide. Very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the culture! Would definitely recommend!!
Great tour for small groups wanting to see several temples in a short time. We were picked up directly from our hotel and loved being able to temple-hop comfortably with air-conditioning between stops. Lucky was fantastic—super knowledgeable about the temples, Thai kings, and history, and she shared everything in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. She also made sure we got great photos throughout the day. Highly recommend!
The experience was great our guide was extremely knowledgeable....she was the best. I highly recommend this tour.
Perfect number of key sites, and easily done in the time. Our guide Tina was wonderful; charming, great knowledge, knows so much about the history of Bangkok. Highly recommend her
We had an amazing experience on our private tour!!!! Pang was so knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions! 10/10! So happy we booked this.
The guide was excellent and the tour was a perfect mix of educational and entertaining. Beautiful views and manageable pace
Have traveled the world, and the Imperial Palace Is the most beautiful and impressive place I have ever seen.
Our guide Sunny made the whole experience wonderful despite the heavy rain storms. He is very informative and a very pleasant human being
Good visit to the temples. Engaging tour guide. Palace was closed due to state mourning. The Golden Buddha temple was the highlight!
Nina was a great guide and very informative! Full of energy too. The tour was so cool as well! The temples are beautiful and so much history.
Fun Bangkok temples tour with very knowledgeable guide, Oh. Early week mornings are less crowded and a wee bit cooler. Cold water supplied was nice. Good driver who aptly navigated the busy traffic. Oh welcomed and answered question in great detail. Khop Khun Ka.
The temples were beautiful. Our guide , Cindy, was friendly and knowledgeable. She made the experience even better. I am not sure I would have enjoyed it as much without her. I would highly recommend the tour and her.
We had a wonderful experience on our Bangkok highlights tour. Our guide, Cindy, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and funny! Made for an unforgettable experience - highly recommend!
Nina was amazing! She was full of energy, knowledgeable and hilarious. She took great pictures and provided lots of water in the heat. I loved all the sights and entry to the temples was included. She also watched my shoes when I entered each temple. Great experience with her!
Such a great trip starting with excellent communication leading up to the tour and throughout. Kit, the guide, was very knowledgeable of not only the sites visited, but also other Thai history and tradition. Kit, thank you for a great tour! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a guided tour of the Grand Palace and temples.
