Bangkok Calypso Cabaret Ticket At Asiatique The Riverfront

The show seems like the premium, resident entertainment for Bangkok. The beautiful theatre is well equipped and you can order treats from your seat to arrive for you. As for the show, it's a cabaret which is a mixture of lipsync and dance sections that span across genres including space, Indian culture, vaudeville style, traditional Chinese and more. There are lots of new hits, crowd favourites and some other works I wasn't familiar with but I'm sure will resonate with the right audience. The women, men and ladyboys were beautiful - all the acts felt distinct and were so well crafted with great visuals and gorgeous costumes. I was hoping the emcee would sing or do some crowd work but I guess it isn't really that show. We bought tickets on the day and was amazed that a cast of 50 were on stage doing this twice a night - this considered, the entrance price was very reasonable. Definitely check it out! It felt so cool to see this while in town and it showcases Thai identity and talent tastefully and very entertainingly.

One of the most unique experiences. This was one of our favorite things in Thailand. The costumes and set design were so well done and the drinks and service were delicious!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful experience there last night. The show was fabulous and.very enjoyable. So many different costumes and the performers were jaw dropping gorgeous. What a great venue to spend the evening. Location was perfect to roam around after the show. Highly recommend it.

The show was amazing and the "girls" looked beautiful. When my wife purchased tickets to this, I was kind of hesitant to go, but am glad I did. They did a great job and the choreography was excellent. I really loved the fact that the full cast is lined up outside after the show for picture opportunities.

The experience was amazing. The cabaret is an elegant familiar place inside Asiatique martek. The show was so good, really good quality, professional and talented artist. I really recommend it.

Amazing performance, must to see...we love it

Very nice venue in a great location right on the river. The theatre is very clean with a Moulin Rouge type set up. We chose basic tickets just for the show and there was a big cast, colorful costumes and fast dancing/performance/costume changes. The 55 minute performance went by fast and it was definitely an experience to see so many talented Ladyboys close up. Great show to end an evening!

Good show. The venue is quite nice and will maintained. The dancers, and there are a lot of them, are pretty good. The lip syncing is a bit off at times, but one thoroughly enjoys the show. Recommended

Good fun night out - theatrics very good. A show to suit all tastes and nationalities. Only an hour long and could have been longer for us.

The show was very entertaining a combination of dance and comedy. I would go again. They served drinks and snacks.we had the cheese sticks and 2 beers for 420 baths.

Dinner & Thai dancing was superb prior to the show. The theatre was comfortable & we upgraded to VIP on arrival so our seats were excellent. Our VIP package included a cocktail & snacks although we couldn’t manage the snacks as dinner was massive! The show itself was very well executed & the performers, lighting & set was outstanding.

Show was great, Viator published the wrong start times, the second problem I had with Viator on my vacation. Fortunately the show staff admitted me to another show since I missed the first show.

The theatre was very clean and well organised with small tables wothin every small group, the seating was great, the show was excellent and very creative

Time were different from trip advisor it’s show 9 pm but show is start 9:45 pm 😒same story I shared with organisers they complained this matter with their management it was really inconvenience to wait a hour.

The show was great! The Calypso girls are very talented and I loved that there were a mix of pop, traditional, and comedic performance numbers. I also liked that with some performance pieces there were interaction with members of the audience. Each ticket includes a free beverage with the choice of water or soft drink. The location of the show is perfect for dinner and shopping before or after the show since it's located right in Asiatique. The theater is air conditioned which is nice.

The boat trip was good but the food was very average and the entertainment was very hard to listen to on the boat. The cabaret was great with one star in particular standing out.

I really enjoyed this show! It was great fun and the performers were magnificent. Note that you must pay 100 baht if you want to get a picture with one of the performers.

Very fun! It was incredible how so many of the performers looked like women. Enjoyable way to spend an evening in Bangkok!

The show was very short. The choice is songs/ music was very outdated. Would have been good to pick newer peppy/ dance songs. The comedy was not really funny, was OK. Special effects were great.

This show was just not a pleasant experience - I was seated behind someone that blocked my partial view and with constant phones taking pics it was hard to fully appreciate. Choice of songs was tired and choreography rigid and constantly covering costumes and revealing additional costumes became tired and boring. Lip syncing was out of sync, costumes were boring and the constant frenetic pace and silly introductions made it all seem unprofessional. I have seen similar shows elsewhere and in Chiang Mai, Phuket, Bangkok and Pattaya (the best standard by far) and this cabaret was by far the worst in every aspect. Yes they are talented performers, but they all let down by poor production values, bad direction and lame choreography - the performers deserve better. I just found nothing to cheer about - I will however say, others definitely found it more entertaining than me, but they probably had nothing to judge it by. I was bored and sad to see talent being wasted like this. Excellent venue that deserves better quality especially for the cost.

This was FABULOUS! Over 50 performers and all the acts were well done. It felt like a show in Las Vegas, only I think it was BETTER!

Excellent show, funny and entertaining. Free water/coke was a welcome touch. Not too busy so was able to move seats for a better view 👍🏼

The show has a large number of dancers, several are not very professional. Overall, the show did not resonate much with the audience. The playback was loud and actors were not trained to imitate the playback.

The booking was confusing. I was under the impression of booking the Calypso Cabaret show but was told we only booked the dinner part at the place. We then charged additional 1200 Baht each person for the show.

It’s exceptional! The welcome is perfect, you immediately feel the cabaret atmosphere. The room is magnificent, all in red with small lamps on each table. And then the show begins… it is very well mastered, the performances follow one another and it is just exceptional. I would have liked it to last longer. After the show there is the possibility to take photos with the artists. A thousand thanks, what a beautiful memory.

Items and performance skill is very wonderful, performers do their best, very professional and good.

Disappointed. Contrary to good reviews. First of all it is not a dinner/show but a dinner then a show. The meal is good and hearty. The show is of quality but only based on playback not always well done. For a cabaret, what's more in an Asian country, we could expect a mix of magic tricks, acrobatics... etc. So medium without more and too fresh as in most closed and air-conditioned establishments of Bangkok.
