A great way to cover a lot of ground, seeing parts of Bangkok we would would otherwise not have seen. 'T' our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He definitely made it great. Easy cycling, felt very safe and confident. Definitely recommend these guys and this tour.

I had a great experience on this tour. I was the only one who booked so it was technically private! My guide was great and spoke excellent english. He was very informative of the history and culture of Thailand and Bangkok. The stops along the way are great and a good variety. Overall great value for money and a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend if your looking for a tour in Bangkok.
We had an amazing time on the Chinatown, Flower Market & Turtle Feeding tour. As a family of five with three teenagers, it was a fun and unique way to explore Bangkok. The ride was safe, easy and enjoyable, taking us through historic parts of the city, including a visit to the largest indoor Buddha. Feeding the turtles and wandering through the flower market were highlights. Sugar was a fantastic guide, full of knowledge and clearly passionate about Bangkok. Highly recommend!
Forget the Big Names – This is the Best Personal Bike Tour in Bangkok! After experiencing several bike tours with the well-known companies in Bangkok, I decided to try something different this time and booked with Follow Me Bike Tours. It was the best decision I could have made! Seamless Experience From the start, the booking process via their clear and user-friendly website was a breeze. But the real magic started when we met our guide, Sugar. Sugar: The Ultimate Guide Sugar is not just a guide; he is a fountain of knowledge with a fantastic sense of humor. He even knows quite a few Dutch words, which added a very personal and fun touch to the trip. His passion for the city and its people is infectious. The Route: Hotspots & Hidden Gems While we visited the must-see spots like Chinatown and the vibrant Flower Market, Sugar also led us through tiny alleys and stunning temples that I had never seen before—even after multiple trips to Bangkok. He teaches you about the local customs and daily life in a way that feels authentic and deeply insightful. Personal Service Over Mass Tourism The absolute highlight for me was the small group size. Unlike other tours where you cycle in a "snake" of 10 or more people, we were in a group of only two(!). This felt like a VIP service. The personal attention, the pace, and the overall care were top-notch. Even the food and drinks provided along the way were perfectly arranged and delicious. Verdict Follow Me Bike Tours offers incredible value for money. If you want a tour that feels like a personal adventure rather than a tourist conveyor belt, look no further. Sugar, you are the best! Thank you for an unforgettable day. PS: The next days I received all the pics Sugar made of us via a We transfer, that is service with a capital S!
My family of 5 (3 teenagers) really enjoyed our half-day guided cycle ride round the back streets of Bangkok. We cycled through narrow alleys and residential areas, visited a couple of Buddhist temples, stopped a few times in market areas, sampled Thai sweet snacks & enjoyed a cold drink near Santa Cruz church in the Portuguese area. We all agreed it was a great experience made memorable by our guide Mai who answered our numerous questions. Please note, We are all cyclists which helped- inexperienced visitors may find the narrow alleys a challenge as well as getting your bike in & off the ferry.
Had a great time. Great way to sight see. Guide was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Hot and humid, though broke up the riding with walking around d cultural sites. Would recommend.
Highlight of our time in Bangkok. Despite the hustle and bustle of Bangkok we were able to find quite back lanes in old Chinatown to ride along. Tea, our guide was excellent. He is clearly passionate about the city. Thank you.
Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. He spoke excellent English and explained everything. The tour was very interesting and visited some less well known areas of Bangkok as well as the more popular sites. We had a fantastic afternoon.
I really, really enjoyed this tour! I was smiling the whole way whilst meandering around the streets. T was brilliant...I would highly recommend it...5*
Disappointing tour. Thee was the guide but was more of a bike ride leader, not a guide. We stopped at sites and he didn’t tell us anything about the sites unless asked. We fed the turtles and he gave us 15 minutes to do so and told us no information about the temple where we stopped. Just gave us papaya and left. We biked past the Grand Palace and he didnt give us any info. China town he didn’t proactively say anything, although answered questions if asked. Our food break and beverages was quite inconsiderate. He asked about food allergies and two people — out of 5, small group — didn’t eat pork but he brought a big plate of port satays to the table. And two pieces of mango for five people. And papaya. And he didn’t ask for our drink choices — just handed out bottled water. Someone asked him to get food the whole group could eat but he didn’t. Instead he came back with a huge bowl of noodle soup for himself, sat down in the middle of the table and ate what I suppose his lunch. It was inconsiderate and off putting. During the ride one person’s chain fell off but he was so far ahead he didn’t know. Our reason for signing up was to get an introduction to Bangkok culture and sites and the tour really failed. Have done this type of tour in other cities and they were a thousand times better. At the end of the tour back at the hostel all five of us sat down to chat and he left. He didn’t ask if we have questions or need any restaurant suggestions. Two stars and not 1 because the five of us had a great conversation for 45 minutes after he left and the bikes were good.
Thanks for an amazing tour T, we saw and learned a lot, what a great way to see the city. We were lucky to be in our own private group which was an added bonus.
Excellent guide Fern looked after us for 4 hours while showing us around a 10 mile route based either side of the river. Really impressed with Fern who was informative, friendly and fun. The tour took you to bits of the city you would never find on your own. Definitely recommend and great value…
We had an excellent tour guide “Mam”. Mam is very knowledgeable. We had a great understanding on every attraction we passed by. Her English is very good so that we can communicate with her very well. To ride on a bike to different places in Bangkok is so relaxing. We both enjoyed it so much and just enrolled bike jungle tour tomorrow! Thanks very much Mam.
Fabulous tour round china town and all the major temples in Bangkok. Fern was the guide, she was knowledgeable and really took care to ensure the cycling was safe. The flower market was a highlight as were some of the hidden temples we visited. Would highly recommend.
I was fortunate to spend a morning exploring parts of Bangkok one doesn’t necessarily see as a visitor.Fern was an outstanding guide - she was friendly, knowledgeable and took great care to ensure a safe and fulfilling experience. Highly recommended.
First time biking in Bangkok. Great to experience Chinatown and the Portuguese quarter and the small narrow streets. We had a very good guide telling about the history of Thailand, visiting temples and flower market. It was hot but safe. Can recommend trying this.
Enjoyed the bike tour. Peter, our guide, was great. The biking was at a leisurely pace. We biked mostly in back alleys but did do some biking on larger roads. However, Peter did a great job leading, and we never felt unsafe. When crossing busy intersections, we got off the bike and walked so that worked well. Also appreciate the pictures that Peter took and sent to us via email.
If you do one tour in Bangkok do this one. We have done a lot of bike tours in a lot of places and this was one of the best. We covered a lot of ground but it’s flat, so easy. We were shown fascinating things in interesting places that we would never have found on our own. Peter our guide was charming, funny and knows his city. He also took really good photos that were emailed to us the following day. The city was beautiful at sunset and then it was wonderful seeing the buildings lit up at night.
If you want to see Bangkoks backstreets, local communities and hidden gems this is brilliant. Peter, our guide was excellent - friendly and knowledgable- thanks again. Thoroughly recommended!
I had done this tour 7 years ago and it was so incredible I had to do it again with my wife. We saw the real Bangkok, including some gems only locals get to see and experience. I would advise everyone to do this. It’s not difficult and it really fun
We were in Bangkok for a short time and find this to be the best way to see the city. What a pleasurable time. We did a private tour with excellent guide Peter (a wonderful and the kindest person). Besides seeing many sites, Peter was took the time to explain everything, was funny, and kept us fed and hydrated throughout the tour. I did this tour many years ago with family and was so glad to do it again. Truly worth it.
We enjoyed the bike tour through China town and the Flower Market. Overall, the tour was great and we were provided with a lot of history.
We booked this having done a cycling tour of Marrakech previously and finding it a great way to explore a city in a relatively short amount of time. We had a small group of just four and our guide, Peter, was fun, engaging and knowledgeable. It was the perfect introduction to the sights of Bangkok. It's worth noting, the cycling was in no way intimidating (it could not have been more relaxed) and mostly off the main roads making it suitable for most levels of cyclists. I would highly recommend for those tourists wanting to see a lot without spending hours in any one place. Peter also captured some great photos of the day to help us remember it all!
An awesome 4 hours exploring the backstreets and the hidden (and not-so-hidden) sights in Bangkok. Our guide Peter was super knowledgeable and just so friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
This bike tour has been the highlight of our family trip to Bangkok. It has been an amazing and relaxing 4 hours ride in the back alleys of the city with some stops to visit temples and markets . Our Guide Peter was very knowledgeable, fun and kind. Highly recommended!
A great day out led by Ah the tour leader. Small group so easy to chat to the leader and other riders. Highly recommended!
Second time I've taken this tour. First time in 2017, new group this time. All loved it and Mas was excellent! Dont miss this trip if you are in Bangkok. There is no better way to see the byways and back alleys that we would have never discovered on out own. The stop for roti was delicious. Mas had very good knowledge of the area and history. Of all the adventures and activities we did over the last 10 days on the southern beaches and in Bangkok, and we did a lot, this activity was in the top 2! Thanks again Follow Me for a great trip!
Great day out with Peter as our tour guide. It was fantastic to visit all the hidden streets and temples. Highly recommended, a must do in Bangkok. All level of cyclists would enjoy this activity.
An incredible and memorable way to explore Bangkok! I’m a solo traveller from Canada and wanted to make the most of my time in Bangkok so I decided to try my first bike tour in Asia. The bike tour included tourist hot spots, city’s hidden gem neighbourhoods, places locals frequent, temples, street food stalls, and scenic spots. Learned so much about Bangkok from our guide Mas! We were kept hydrated the entire tour and ended the trip with a complimentary fruit plate and the chance to soak our feet in a fish pond. Bikes were in good condition and we got to see so much of Bangkok in half a day! Highly recommend this bike tour by Follow Me.
My husband and I did this tour on the morning of New Years Eve. If you want a chance to see the real Bangkok this is for you. We rode down little alleyways, through the streets of Chinatown, even through the Flower Market. We rode to a local temple, along the river and took a local ferry across the river. Our guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable about the city and places he took us to. He was very passionate about his city as well. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and felt that we got a very authentic experience of Bangkok. Peter was funny and pleasant and took exceptional care of us during our tour. It is a must do experience in Bangkok!!
Has the best time on this tour! It was hot and long but we really felt like we got to see how people live in Bangkok. Def worth it and highly recommend!
Certainly something you should not miss. Visiting places you would never see otherwise. A good contrast to other activities in Bangkok.
A varied and interesting route with lots to see and experience. Plenty of bike riding with stops for interesting places nicely timed. A guide (Khun Mas)who was organised, pleasant and knowledgable. A truly enjoyable day and great value for money.
Had a wonderful tour with Teddy through the streets and back alleys of Bangkok. Teddy was fun and knowledgeable. We covered over 8 miles including Wats, markets, homes, ferry, river path and yes, food on the streets of Bangkok's Khlong San area. We were the only ones on the tour (mid-week & off season) so it was a nice personalized ride. The food we tried was delicious and found in unexpected places! We learned how to fold the petals of a lotus flower for offering, feed turtles and have small talk with a Cockatoo. Teddy knew a lot of history and fact of the places we visited. It's a great tour full of sights, sounds and crazy smells of this vibrant, colorful and odorous city. At the end of the tour, we enjoyed the 'fish spa' where we dipped our hot tired feet for some cool, fish kisses :-) Highly recommend!
It was a perfect day together with our guide Teddy. Good bikes, nice tour. We saw many things, learned more about the city and drive safely all thanks to Teddy. Maybe a bit hard to find the location for taxi drivers.
Really great way to learn about the city and different areas. Everyone was so friendly and I would definitely recommend as a different way to check out Bangkok.
An experience not to be missed. Very professionally operated and the tour guide was friendly and made the experience feel unique. A great way to experience local way of life and attractions.
People say in reviews - you must do this! YOU REALLY MUST DO THIS!!! Wit - our guide - was absolutely amazing! Humorous, knowledgeable and thoughtful! I cycled with my eighteen and twenty year old daughters, who were just as captivated by the sites and temples as I was! Every corner brought something incredible to see ... river views, the astonishing flower market and a 15 metre high golden Buddha! Wit gave us water and snacks in the way round - needed in the 35 degree heat! We finished in a relaxing garden feeding the turtles. This was the most memorable experience! Forget the other tours and go with Follow Me! Don’t miss it!!
We had the best day in Bangkok with our guide Teddy. I really recommend this to everyone. We went to places we would never go to on our own. Teddy spoke good English and took really good care of us with both water and regular toilet visits. We felt safe in Bangkok trafic and we learned a lot. Thank you!
When I arrived to the meeting point, Teddy was already waiting for me. I was the only rider on that trip which was a bit surprising, Teddy and staff are very polite and accommodating and the office/meeting point is on a quite street not far from the BTS station. The tour was nice, a combination of culture, fruits and some sight seeing of course. As always, a good way to get to know the area. The ride requires some technical skills in the narrow alleys and busy streets of Bangkok.
Perfect bikingtour with a very friendly tourguide named Wit. We loved biking threw the narrow little streets. The stops were perfectly timed with water at hand. The topguide Wit made it just perfect with his personal touch and so we give it 5 star rating.
I had some time on my hands so I booked a bike tour. Met up with Teddy at Follow Me and he was very nice with excellent english. The tour was really interesting, I've been to Bangkok many times and it was great to see a different side to it. We experienced a lot of cultural things, temples, flower markets and street food, which was amazing. Teddy was a wealth of knowledge and obviously passionate about his country and city. The bikes were good and well serviced. All in all, I highly recommend Follow me. I road on Sunday morning which was great as there wasn't much traffic.
Wit was our tour guide and he was fun and knowledgeable about Bangkok, its cultural, and history. We learned so much in the 4.5 hours. Highly recommend this outfitter.
I was a solo traveler and met some other travelers from the Canada, South Africa and the US for the morning ride. It was a very easy ride and you can see so much more cycling than you can in a car. I have been on two cycle tours with other companies in Bangkok but this was the best organised one so I will defiantly go with them again. I can recommend this company to do a cycle ride around Bangkok.
Just finished a bike tour with Follow me bike tours. We are a family of 2 adults and two kids (age 12 and 13). We were with another family of four, so the group was 9 including the guide. Very well organized, bikes were very well maintained and plenty of helmets available. We did venture onto some quite busy streets so I would suggest one heeds the warning of the company that younger kids be confident cyclists. Was really a great way to see Bangkok- China town, Muslim quarter, flower market, turtle feeding, and Temple of friendship (Kanlayanamit), which although not a landmark temple is more frequented by Thai people and representative of life in Bangkok. Then biking along a bike path on the river before heading back across the river by ferry. They provided water and a great snack of sweet Roti. They also had sarongs for shoulder coverage in the temple if necessary. The tour finished in the clubhouse with an ice cream treat. Well worth the money! We only had one day in Bangkok and while we didn’t see the “top rated ” temples in Bangkok it was a great way to see the real Bangkok (and with two teenage/pre-teen boys the eye rolling was minimized). Only wish we had a chance to try one of their other tours. (P.S. just received an email with all the photos taken by the guide during the tour! Great service!)
We had such a great time during that tour. Teddy was a great guide. We had a lot of questions and he could answer them all. Instead it 4 hours, the tour took 5 hours and it seemed he did not mind at all. The bikes are also in very good condition. Cycling in Bangkok sounds exciting, but it was really easy and not dangerous at all. The advantage is also that we really saw streets and neighbourhoods that we would never find ourselves. Highly recommended tour!!!
A marvellous way to see parts of Bangkok you wouldn’t otherwise see. We had the whole family of five on the tour and it was fascinating to ride through neighbourhoods and alleyways to visit some of the real Bangkok.
Just been on a wonderful bike tour around Bangkok. Teddy our guide was excellent !!.. I have not been on a bicycle in years but - neither has my mate , we both in our fifties and i am not the fittest person, so i was a little worried about doing this , but the route Teddy- our guide took us on was all flat . His knowledge and passion is impressive as we weaved around the backstreets of Bangkok visiting communities of different relgions and cultures and sampling different foods . If you want a alternative and enlightening look of Bangkok i would recommend this excellent day out .
This was a very different and actually quite relaxing way to see the city from a very different viewpoint. The distance we travelled was quite far but it was all very relaxed with an extremely knowledgeable guide.
Bike tours are always a great way to see a lot of a new city in one day with a local guide. I was a little nervous about the traffic, and it was a little scary a couple of times, but our guide, Ar, made sure we were safe at all times. If you’ve never done a bike tour, though, I would not recommend this as your first. I’m sure some of my questions were sllly, but Ar answered all of them with patience and great knowledge of the culture. We visited temples and shrines, heard monks in their morning chants, went through markets and Chinatown, and stopped at the Flower Market where he chose some good street food for us. Loved the surprise stop to feed the turtles, and the very large Buddha at Kalayanamitr Temple was memorable. The ride back along the river was a great way to cool down. Getting to do our first fish spa at the clubhouse was a bonus!
