We love Jokey and this tour! We did the 5 hour tour and it was perfect! So informational, perfectly timed, and Jokey had all the best photo spots! 1000% recommend!

It was great! I learned so much and the timing was perfect. Agenda we visited 3 temples plus travel time - lunch, it all was well planned. I def would recommend for any one or any group. Boeing was the best guide I could hope for.
The fact that it even exists was unknown to me until I was planning a visit to Bangkok. I had no idea of its existence. I was planning a trip to Angkor Wat last year but it was a two day trip. This UNESCO site is one hour from Bangkok and is very impressive - a mix of Siamese, Cambodian and Ceylonese architectural elements with a lot of history behind them.
Sam was an amazing guide. Very educational, as well as kind. The temples are worth a visit, and the lunch was very good.
We had a great experience on this tour! Our guide, Mindy, was very knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. She explained the history of the different temples and even showed us the best spots to take photos at each stop. The tour was fast paced with a little free time at each site to walk around, but with the heat it seemed like an appropriate amount of time. Logistics: We opted for the hotel pickup and received our pickup time the day before - the driver was right on time and took us to the tour start. It was very hot, but a bottle of water was provided after the first stop. There were other places to buy water and drinks at each stop as well.
Very well-organized and informative trip. We were picked up at our hotel, and then consolidated into a group of about 14 for the 90 minute bus ride. The ancient capital is full of ruins and history that comes to life through the visit. The tour made stops at 4 different sites, and each time the guide offered a brief introduction and overview, and then we had 30 to 45 minutes to explore on our own. Perfect for our tastes! The tour ends with a buffet lunch at the company-owned restaurant. The food is nothing special, but the facility is large, clean, and comfortably air conditioned. Absolutely recommend this tour!
Very nice your, our guide Sam speaks very good English and it is super knowledgeable and friendly. I am giving this tour 4 stars instead of 5 only for one reason, this tour included lunch, once we got to the restaurant the food was already in display without any sort of heat, I brought this to the attention to the guide as it can create food poisoning to people if the food is not kept at the right temperature, also nobody likes to eat lukewarm or cold chicken. Other than this the tour was excellent, I recommend to anyone.
Sam is very engaging and friendly. It's great they could pick us up from our hotel. Lunch provided was delicious
We learned a lot on this tour with Jokey as our guide. He was fun, personable, ensured that everyone got the best photos, and told the history of each site in a way that you remembered. We found that there was ample time spent at each location to visit without feeling rushed. Lunch was at a nicely air conditioned venue set up for handling crowds. We opted for the green curry soup which was the only item on a heat source. It was very tasty.
Perfect way to see Ayutthaya for a day from Bangkok. Everything went on schedule. One and a half hour taxi ride felt safe and quick access to all the sights. Guide did not tell a lot. Was a bit touristy. Lunch was a bit touristy too. But for the price this tour was definitely fine and safe.
Eddie was a great tour guide, explained everything very well and in a relaxed way. We had the perfect amount of time at each site and finished with a really nice lunch!
i missed the first tour we were on due to communication of pick up time. I found it interesting but long. It was nice to get out of Bangkok. I think the guide was very knowledgeable it just didn’t hold my interest
The trip was really nice and very well organized, exactly what was promised, our tour guide AJ was brilliant!
They tour was not able to pick me up at the hotel. While trying to find the location I became lost and was not able to go on the excursion. So disappointed.
Tour was interesting and Paul was an engaging guide. Bring a hat, sunglasses, and an additional bottle of water (tour provides one).
Very knowledgeable and engaging guide and a fascinating day out. Would recommend this trip for anyone who wants a sense of the history and religious background of Thailand.
This was a beautiful tour with a comfy bus just perfect for a solo traveler or a family with elders too.
The visit/tour/guide were okay. But I have two remarks : the pick up at our hotel was too early. We were 45 min in advance. Then when specified as small group - we were 24 .. I would have expected 10 to 12 max.
The group was larger than expected and we were rushed from location to location BUT we did see some very interesting sights and the included lunch was very good.
This was an amazing experience!! Perfect amount of time at each place. Informative. Comfortable. Lunch was so good. And my tour guide Sam was THE BEST!!! He was so kind and patient and knowledgeable. He even helped me navigate back home after the drop-off point. If you are on the fence about this tour, book it!
Our collection started dead on time and we made our way to see the temples. The trip included 4 sites and a very enjoyable lunch buffet, the yellow chicken curry and crispy wings were delicious. Our tour guide Eddy was full of information, amusing and very helpful.
It was a good day trip, worth the trip. Ayuttaya was a very calm, tranquil and relaxed town. We had excellent time, learning Buddhism and Thai history, and see historical ruins. We were lucky with nice weather with breeze, November vibe. Otherwise I could see the sun will make it a bit hard to walk around. Our tour guide AJ was very knowledgeable about Buddhism, with polite and respectful manner toward each guest. Lunch was reasonable and nice, just hit the spot.
Visited breathtaking temples. Our tour guide, Paul, was very funny and informative. Highly recommend.
Great tour. Communication from tour company was great. Hotel pick up was on time. We had perfect amount of time at each location. Lunch was relaxing and food was great.
What great history for the old ruins. Lunch was great guide was great. Perfect amount of time and seen a lot. Sam was great taking pics too
Overall, it was quite a pleasant experience. I joined the tour on March 16, 2025. A staff picked me up from my hotel at 7:15 AM. Our guide was William, and I'd like to express my gratitude for his service. Our diverse international group consisted of English-speaking tourists from the Netherlands, Italy, Mexico, China, the Philippines, the UK, and Denmark, along with a private German-speaking tour for 2 people. We all traveled together in a mini bus. The atmosphere was friendly throughout the journey. Despite the hot weather outside, the air conditioning in the vehicle was more than adequate. This excursion provided me with a deeper understanding of Ayutthaya. Worth mentioning is the buffet-style lunch, which I found quite satisfactory (contrary to some reviews claiming "lunch was bad"). The venue resembled a family café with a clean, comfortable environment, and I found the food to be acceptable. There was a minor incident on our return journey when the vehicle broke down near Chulalongkorn University. Fortunately, the guide directed us to walk to the skytrain at MBK center, from where we all made our way back to our respective hotels. Thank you for the service provided. Xie xie!
Great organization by the team. Our guide Aori was very knowledgeable. Good lunch. Strongly recommended.
This temple tours to Ayutthaya were such a worth it experience! Our tour guide Sam is very knowledgeable with every temple that we went to. Highly recommended! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!
Tour guide was very knowledgeable, clear, pleasant and effective. In addition, the tour stops were cool to see and you were able to experience them at your own leisure after the guide presented the information.
Wonderful place with a fascinating history- our guide was wonderful and helpful. My only complaint was that the trip was delayed by some passengers being very late to their pick up point. I feel the tour should’ve continued without them
Paul was a wonderful guide, funny, charming, and constantly looking out for everyone! The Ayutthaya temples are magical and very interesting.
being in this ancient city was fascinating. it was an easy ride from Bangkok. Our guide was great. We had a nice comfortable bus and driver and it's good to be in a small group. Pick up from my hotel was on time. Learned a lot about the culture and history of Thailand and had enough free time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone going to the Bangkok area. It is an excellent value and such an important part of the history. It was one of the major highlights of my week in Bangkok and a great reason to leave the city for a while. The tour was the perfect length of time.
Loved walking in history. Tour guide was good but at times repetitive and subjective. The bus driver and the bus were good. Keeping us cool and comfortable while on the bus.
Our tour guide Paul was very knowledgeable and gave us an introduction to the history of each site before we explored on our own. We had ample time to wander around these ancient sites and Paul made sure everyone knew where and when to meet when it was time to move on. The tour supplied a couple of bottles of water each during the day and there were umbrellas to borrow at each site which we made use of as it was very hot. The driver did a great job negotiating the traffic and dropped us back to MBT shopping area around 3pm. The only negatives were that we were told the tour start time was 6.30, a taxi was waiting for us in the hotel foyer when we went down at 6.20 and then we were taken to another location 15 minutes away where we had to wait until 7.30 for the rest of the guests to arrive. A 7.30 start meant we got back later than we thought. Also the small group tour had 19 people so the bus was full and despite us arriving before any other guests, we ended up on the back seat as most other seats had already been claimed by the time we were shown to the bus, it was quite uncomfortable with 4 adults across the back row, I presumed we could change seats as the day went on but Paul advised to stay in the same seats all day so we felt awkward to ask someone to swap with us.
Very beautiful and informative excursion! Sam was a fun and overall great guide. Great halfday trip if you’re interested in learning more about the history of Bangkok’s temples
The Ayutthaya UNESCO Temples tour was very nice and great experience. Great history of mankind and past. We still have not learned from the past and the human greed continues. The only difference between today and the past is that we have more sophisticated weapons. The Ayutthaya, such a great place was destroyed by neighbors and this act of humans have not stopped.
fantabulous experience! Really enjoyed the landscapes and all the history of Buddhas behind. Would definitely recommend it!
My fiancé and I booked this tour because she is a devout Buddhist and wanted to see the temples once more. Naturally this made me curious also. The tour was amazing as were the temples and sleeping Buddha etc. My Thai fiancé decided to go in Thai traditional dress and she looked even more beautiful. The Guide Boeing was most entertaining and knowledgeable and the transport was luxurious. All in all we had a great day
We were guided to the most important temples at this large historic site, Sam was a great guide and very informative and funny. The lunch was tasty and healthy. Would definitely recommend this trip.
The places are nice, but the lunch are big room of improvement....is not on par with thailand standard....prepare some snack if you dun likel the lunch.
Really nice and informative tour. Only downsize is the drop off in the MBK shopping center and not your hotel but good if you want to do some extra shopping.
Very enjoyable half day tour. We stopped at four historical sites with a wonderful tour guide named Paul. He was very kind and funny and super knowledgeable. Most of the temples are in quite disarray from raiding that took place 100s of years ago, so lots of missing bricks and all buddhas missing head and right arm. Glad we did a pit stop at gas station before first temple. Toilets at sites are some good some a bit gross. The 3rd stop with the Buddha head in tree was our favorite. Food at final stop was good. Souvenirs were plentiful. Paul gave great tips on what the buy and for how much.
The temples were extraordinary. Never seen anything like them. Worth seeing despite high cost of trip.
Our guide “Bono” was incredible! He really brought the culture to life and made the day so much fun with his sense of humor and stories. I would highly recommend this tour. It was organized and efficient. The lunch was also delicious!
Uthai was very knowledgeable of Thailand’s history and had much information to share. He included humorous anecdotes from daily life. The day we went was absolutely beautiful.
It’s not only amazing to see and experience the cultural sites and temples but to hear about the rich history behind it all.
Great tour to see Buddha ruins and temples. Tour guide experience was fun and entertaining. Highly recommended
This was a great day out. The collection from the hotel was prompt and well organized. The tour guide Paul was very informative and fun. The lunch was also delicious. Would strongly recomend
Our tour guide explained Thai history well, and told the significance of each location to the group before exploring.
The tour was good and our guide Paul was an excellent host. He did not try to over impose himself. The timing was good and we did not feel pressured. Only small problem was bus seat a bit uncomfortable. Not enough leg room and the lunch was poor
