Ayutthaya, Maeklong Railway, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

We had an absolutely amazing experience visiting Ayutthaya and the Maeklong Railway Market with our tour guide, Marcus, and our driver, Mr. Big C! I have never experienced such genuine friendliness, kindness, and warm-hearted hospitality. Marcus was fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and always making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Mr. Big C was equally wonderful, providing safe and comfortable transportation with the biggest smile and warmest personality. What truly made this tour special was not just the beautiful places we visited, but the incredible service and genuine care they showed us throughout the entire day. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It honestly felt like spending the day with friends rather than taking a tour. Marcus and Mr. Big C made our Thailand experience unforgettable. We cannot thank them enough for their outstanding hospitality. If we ever return to Thailand, we would absolutely love to tour with them again. Highly recommended!

Great tour with our guide Jack! Everything was very well organized, and Jack shared a lot of knowledge in a clear and easy-to-understand way. He always looked after the group’s safety, especially at the railway market when the train passed through. A special moment was at the end, when we said a prayer to the Buddha before leaving the temple and heading back to the meeting point. Highly recommended!

Had a great time, lots of great sites and experiences and well worth the money paid. Boy was a great guide, very friendly and informative and told us a lot about the places we were visiting. I'd happily do this tour again and recommend it for other people

Very nice, informative. Comfy vehicle. More time at train market would be nice, but due to distance it's not possible. If you want only market experience, separate the markets tour with Ayutthaya tour.

Ratch was amazing gave us a great insight of Thai history and buddhism. I really enjoyed it. However, because of the heavy rain in the previous days we couldn’t really visit much in the floating market. But the rest was amazing

Despite heavy rainfall, we had a great day. Our guide Jacky was very helpful throughout the tour and we easily moved through the different sites by bus. There was some time to roam around on our own at the markets. The visit to the temple was very interesting and worth the trip.

Cake was an excellent tour guide, and the whole day was exceptionally well organised. The itinerary made very efficient use of our time without ever feeling rushed. Cake was patient, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all questions and take our many photos, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic day out and would highly recommend this tour, especially for anyone short on time who wants to see and experience as much as possible in a single day. Had a really enjoyable day trip starting at 7am and finishing around 5:30. Got to see the market held on the train line, travelled in a boat along the floating market and after an enjoyable and very inexpensive lunch visited several temples. Jacky our guide was informative and made sure we were all comfortable. Unlike a lot of tours there were only 10 people and we all travelled in air conditioned comfort in a mini van. Can recommend the tour.

The tour covered a lot in one day, the transport van was comfortable and clean. The scheduled stop at Ruan kamon restaurant was fantastic. Quick affordable quality meals. I joined the one‑day TripGuru private tour and it turned out to be the perfect choice for our short stay in Bangkok. The itinerary was very well organized and allowed us to experience places we would never have managed to see on our own in just one day. Our guide, Rach, spoke good English and accompanied us throughout the entire journey, always kind and helpful with his explanations. The train passing through the market was a fun and unique moment, and the tailboat ride at the floating market was truly beautiful — I didn’t expect the boats to go that fast through the canals! The three sites in Ayutthaya were absolutely enchanting and definitely the highlight of the day. Even though the distances are long, the ride was comfortable thanks to our driver, Yai, who did an excellent job. Lunch was also a pleasant surprise: the restaurant was nice, the food tasty, and the prices very reasonable. Overall, a great experience — well planned, smooth, and full of memorable moments. Very informative. It was a lot of driving in between some of the temples, we could easily have spent hours at each temple and railway market. The floating market was good, but the vendors were VERY eager, maybe a little too much. Rach took us to a really good lunch place, and took really good care of us. Highly recommend.

The experience was well worth it. Learnt so much about Thai culture. Our guide was truly understanding of our needs and guided us to what we wanted to see. The temperature was scorching hot so she made sure that we had plenty of rest stops and were hydrated. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. I also recommend to reach there by 0630 even if the the meeting time is 0700hrs. The morning traffic was so bad that we actually missed catching our group on time however she accommodated us to her best abilities. We had left the hotel at 6:15 to be there by 07:00 and we still couldn’t reach. So a heads up make sure be there at least half hour early. Once again, thank you so much for making this experience worthwhile. Highly recommended - sunscreen/ umbrella/ sunglasses/ water/ temple appropriate attire.
