The tour was a good mix of less visited sights and the most popular sights. Transportation was efficient and pickup was convenient. The guide did a good job providing historical and contemporary context to the historical sights and the surrounding area, and they took a number of nice photos that they shared at the end of the trip.

It’s a peaceful yet striking start, perfect for photos and fascinating tales about King Rama V’s vision.
Lunch by the Pond & Dazzling Gold Relics from Ayutthaya’s Golden Age Pause for a relaxing lunch at Ayutthaya Retreat, a peaceful hideaway beside a lotus pond where you’ll enjoy home-style Thai dishes and a tranquil garden vibe. We highly recommend trying the Nam Prik Fried Rice—served with fresh vegetables and fried fish. It’s a perfect all-in-one Thai flavor experience! And no worries if you don’t eat spicy food or if you’re vegetarian—just let us know in advance, and we’ll happily adjust your meal.

Our tour guide (Bow) was very kind, knowledgable and helpful. The van is comfortable, driver is careful and there is air conditioner inside. The tour is complete (Museum, ancient city, local food...) well planned (time-wise) and chill. Bow is happy to talk about many Thai things (history, culture, modern news, curiosities...) and she speaks great English. I fully recommend this agency and tour.
There's literally nothing to complain about! Our tour guide Pond was such a sweetheart, always knew an answer to every question we had (which there were plenty!) and really took her time to show and explain everything to us – not just about what we saw on site, but about Thai culture in general. Lunch was great as well and we had an amazing time:)
Had a great time. Pond, our guide, explained everything well and took great care of us. The Ruins were beautiful and our driver was also great!
The tour with Pond was truly amazing! We asked her loads of questions but she knew everything and gave us so much interesting information! She was very nice, helpful and well organised. I would definitely recommend the trip! The places weren‘t full of tourists and it felt like a really nice way to experience thai culture. the food was also amazing!
This was a great tour! Kamala was a fantastic tour guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. The itinerary was a perfect blend of culture, food, and history. The pace was relaxed and leisurely, still including the main attractions. Would definitely recommend!
This was a wonderful tour—very laid back, relaxed, friendly, and educational. Kamala was a great tour guide. She shared a lot of useful information and was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. Everything was included on the tour, the van was spacious and comfortable, and the pace was leisurely. The stops were a perfect balance of culture, history, and food. Definitely recommend!
I recently took a day trip tour of Ayutthaya with this excellent, professional, and KIND tour company called Magic Trips Bangkok. Everything was excellent and the tour operators were very knowledgeable of the area as well as being able to speak very good English. I will use them again for future travel!
I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and knowledge the tour operators at this company exhibited throughout my wonderful day in Ayutthaya! The tour itself was very well rounded including stops at the Royal Palace (Summer Palace), as well as the Ayutthaya Museum, but the most incredible part of all — and the part where most of the day should be allotted to — were the visits to the beautiful Ayutthaya temples ruins! I can never get enough if the jaw-dropping beauty of these 14th Century (I believe) temple ruins. Moreover, I was so impressed with the excellent transportation, education, English language speaking ability, and friendliness shown by the Magical Trip Bangkok staff — I am already looking into other trips and tours that they provide. I forgot to mention that lunch was fantastic too. Thank you again Magical Trip Bangkok for a very memorable day!
A very good tour, beautiful places, the guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. I loved the food, it was delicious.
Great day visiting Ayutthaya and discovering some very beautiful places. The guide, who was Thai but spoke good English, was very friendly and gave very good explanations throughout the tour. I recommend it for sure !
The Ayutthaya tour (October 16) was so much fun! The tour guide was professional, friendly, and very service-minded. Everything was well organized and managed smoothly. We visited many interesting and informative places — it was such a great experience overall!
A very well curated tour with our excellent guide, Kamala !! Definitely should be a 'must do' on yoir list, when in Thailand.
I had a wonderful experience on this one-day trip to Ayutthaya! The weather was perfect, and the schedule was well planned — we got to see so many beautiful historical temples without feeling rushed. Our tour guide, Kamala, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole journey fun and engaging. The lunch was absolutely delicious — definitely one of the highlights of the day! Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore Ayutthaya in a comfortable and enjoyable way!
This was another wonderful tour by Magical Trip. Not only did we see the main temples, but they also took us to some of the lesser known ones, which I thought were actually more interesting. The lunch by the riverside was beautiful, with terrific food. I highly recommend it!
I had such a lovely private tour with my mom! Bow/Kamala was very knowledgeable and made the experience very special. She even took us to get more sweet roti from a maket and an extra temple to pray at which we appreciated a lot. Thank you so much!!
Our Host Kamala/Bow was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the tour. My daughter and I wanted a peaceful, relaxing private tour and had a great lunch at a private retreat on the river. She gave us good tips at the Temples too! Friendly and flexible. She gave us a bonus stop at a beautiful Chinese temple and we got to sample and buy the areas famous sugar rotis/ cotton candy! A must try! Our driver was patient and sweet. I highly recommend using this duo for your tour. Thank you Kamla we loved it!
This full service tour was spectacular. Our group had very nice private transportation and we saw a great variety of Thai culture and history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the day was full of great restaurants and snacks. Highly recommended!
What an amazing day! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Thailand, Buddhism, and Ayutthaya. We started on time and visited the unique Gothic-style Wat Niwet Thammaprawa, crossing the river using the cable car. After a great lunch, we saw the impressive Buddha statues at Wat Na Phra Meru and the iconic tree-root Buddha head at Wat Mahathat. We ended at Chao Sam Phraya Museum to see treasures from Ayutthaya’s ruins, then grabbed some delicious roti sai mai on the way back to Bangkok. What a jam-packed day of history, culture, and great company, far beyond my expectations!
