We had a wonderful tour in Bangkok with our guide Tina. She showed us many beautiful places in the city - from stunning temples to hidden corners full of history and charm. Tina was very knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we felt comfortable and enjoyed every moment. Thanks to her, we discovered the beauty of Bangkok in a very special way. I highly recommend Tina as a guide - she makes the experience unforgettable and truly memorable!
We booked the Bangkok Temple Tour: Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha Wat Arun – Half Day Tour through Klook. Registration: We arrived at Hug Thai in Central World, which was our meeting point at 9:40 am. We showed our Klook voucher to Dylan our tour guide and he found my name on the registration list. We had to bring our passports. With the passports we had to fill in a sheet. Number of People: There were 8 people in the tour. Tour: It was quite convenient as we were driven to the Temple of Emerald Buddha by a van. Our tour guide Dylan was very knowledgeable. His knowledge of the 10 kings of Thailand, what each person in the wall painting meant, history of the palace, etc. was very interesting to hear. He also gave us enough time to take photos. The temple of the Emerald Buddha and The Grand Palace was great to see. We took a boat at Chao Phraya River to get to Wat Arun. You can climb up the stairs at Wat Arun. But the stairs are steep and you must be careful when you come down. At Wat Arun, you can buy snacks and also there is an area where you can buy souvenirs. At 1:45 pm we took a boat back to Temple of Emerald Buddha to get back on the van, which will take us back to Hug Thai in Central World. Our targeted arrival time was 2:00 pm. But due to traffic in Bangkok we arrived at 2:50 pm at Hug Thai in Central World. As a result, we had a late lunch at Central World. Weather: The weather was quite cool as there were light rain. That’s why it made it easier to go around and see the Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha Wat Arun. Conclusion: Overall, I recommend this tour. It was a perfect time to visit due to the cool weather. The only disappointment was that it took about an hour to get back to Hug Thai in Central World.
This is a must! Our driver Sam greeted us at the airport, tok us to meet our private guide Cindy at city center Bangkok. My girls and I had our own private car, which is super convenient. Cindy is very kind and she'll realty take care' of you and listen to whatever you want to do.. We definitely highly recommend! 🥰
Amazing architecture and history. Very knowledgeable tour guide added a lot to the tour. A must see in Bangkok.
Not much. Temple was great but the guide was horrible. Min knowledge and no enthusiasm. What more do you want me to say
The guide, Miss Cindy was very arrogant, unhelpful and very uncooperative. In fact this has happened to me in Malaysia as well when we hired a conducted tour for Murugan temple. At least that guide was very kind, cooperative and courteous but only lacked knowledge. This lady was terrible and a bad experience overall. The cost was high and the experience was forgettable
Extremely expensive !!! Doesn’t worth it!!! Very little to see & lots of $$$$ You can easily take a taxi or public transport!! I expected more for the value of the tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable though!
We did not have a good experience with the tour guide. It was not worth the money we paid for this private tour. As they were only the two of us, we asked the tour guide to take photos. She was not happy to do so. She even told us that we should have a selfie stick and that she does not take photos and serves as our tour guide. From that point on, we were not comfortable asking her to take photos of us. If I had a choice and was not stuck in the predicament we were in, I would have left and cut short the tour. I wished we could get a refund so we could have made use of the $265 charge for the both of us. This was our first trip to Thailand and first tour of our visit which was unfortunate sad and not worthwhile. I wished TripAdvisor could refund our money or give us another better tour experience.
We visited the 3 temples with our guides Dewy and Koh. Had a great morning learning all about the temples. It was a great way to see a lot in a short space of time Guides were helpful and knowledgeable in explaining everything. I could not recommend this trip enough. Many thanks to Dewy and Koh from Julie and Tony. Newcastle upon Tyne
Our tour guide was Oat! Her is a great guide, highly recommended. Very knowledgeable, funny, courteous, spoke great English.
The temples were amazing and our guide Wan was the best. The pictures we took and shared with our friends and family were spectacular, beautiful and grand.
DEW, Our tour guide was very Respectful, friendly and knowledgeable She came on time to pick us up. We visited all the three temples, she explained about each temples, as to when they were built and who built them. She made sure we were well hydrated during our tour. Gave us enough time the view the different historical places.
Great tour. Pickup and drop off from hotel, knowledgeable guide. Ensures you get tbe perfect photo, and even buys you water! Hoghly recommend!
Highly recommend this tour to see the Royal Grand Palace and Wat Arun! The sights are absolutely picturesque and our tour guide did a great job providing greater insight into the royal family, Thai Buddhism, and overall history of the city and country. Additionally, she took some great photos of my wife and I!
My daughter and me visited Thailand this week after two years of no travel. We had an excellent experience with Sunleisure_world tour company. They organized the tour in super efficient way, we never had to wait anywhere, the guide Cindy and the driver were very polite hospitable and flexible. Will rate 5 out of 5 in Timeliness, cleanliness and the guide’s knowledge. Planning more trips with this company. 100 percent recommended. Thank you
It wasn’t bad, but not that great. The tour guide spent a lot of time on the phone and didn’t speak a lot of English. I’d prob be better off doing the self-guided audio tour.
The grand palace was closed when we arrived unfortunately due to coronation. It would have been nice to know in advance so we would have the option to change to a different date however our guide Cindy did a good job changing our route. We saw the reclining Buddha instead which was very impressive. Good guide with good knowledge.
Had a great tour with Jui this afternoon. The tour was spectacular with such beautiful places to visit. A must see if you’re in Bangkok. Jui took lots of pictures for me since I was by myself. Door to door service from my hotel. Highly recommended!
Fantastic afternoon out learning about Bangkok culture. Our Guide Katu was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all the questions we had. I think the only regret we had is not being able to see the reclining Buddha. The experience was unforgettable. Truly recommend this tour if you want to submerge into Thailand history
My guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He and his driver picked me up, and dropped me off, at my hotel, even though it is well north of downtown. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are amazing. I strongly recommend this tour. Be prepared for a LOT of walking.
We had an excellent morning with our guide Deev , who was very impressive with her knowledge of the sites we visited , picked up on time and returned to our hotel in a nice air conditioned van , if you are after value for money book this excursion
My sister and I loved this tour , mainly because of our wonderful guide, Cindy. Her knowledge of these sacred places gave us so much information that helped our understanding of Thailand and its royal family. Thank you cindy !
Amazing tour , best services by the tour operator. Enjoyed my journey throughout the tour . Quite happy with the tour .
Our first trip to Thailand was excellent with sunleisureworld tour group. From picking us up from Airport through out the entire time of our Holiday there. The tour company is well organized ,the website is easy to navigate through to see any tour package. The customers service for arranging the each our tour trips was excellent too. Our Thailand experience was wonderful and memorable.
My experience with the tour operator was really good. I had a good experience enjoyed the tour. Would recommend the tour operator for other travellers
The guide spoke poor English and gave us very little information about the place. The little he told us we knew from before, some he said we did not understand. He was very nice and kind
If you visit Bangkok, first visit the Royal Palace, where the Emerald Buddha is and then The Reclining Buddha, which is located 800 meters from the place. Dress long and with covered shoulders. Men also cover their legs and T-shirts with sleeves. Beautiful
We were picked up at the hotel punctually at 1pm by our guide Mayo. Since the tour was actually booked as a group tour by us, we were all the more pleased that we now had a private tour. The initial difficulties regarding our tickets to the temples were quickly forgotten, as Mayo was very striving, friendly and humorous throughout the day and the misunderstanding was resolved very quickly by her. We have experienced many historical backgrounds and every question on our part has been answered patiently. At the Flower Market Mayo gave me flowers that I was very happy about. It was a wonderful, unforgettable day, thank you Mayo!
