Had the most amazing experience exploring Bangkok’s green zone, Bang Kachao, with our guide Mr. Tee. He was absolutely fantastic….so friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire tour feel effortless and fun. The combination of bike riding and kayaking through all the beautiful green space was such a perfect way to experience a different side of Bangkok. It felt peaceful, refreshing, and so unique compared to the city vibes. Mr. Tee made the experience even better with his great energy and by showing us spots we would have never found on our own, he even let us try some of his favorite snacks on the island. Every part of the tour felt well planned and memorable. Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience nature, adventure, and a beautiful escape from the busy city.
I loved biking in this peaceful oasis area just outside Bangkok. Tee is a great guy who showed me his hometown and made the experience truly special. Highly recommended—if you’re visiting Bangkok, this tour is a must! 10/10

Went with a school trip to celebrate the end of the program. Great singers, food, and service. Wonderful way to see Thailand.
Wonderful trip. Mr. T arranged everything perfectly and gave us a great tour of the island. Definitely recommended.
It is a very good experience, with great service and hospitality. I think I’ll join this group again if there’s other chance.
I had an amazing afternoon biking and kayaking around the narrow paths - the guide Mr Tee was very friendly and helpful with local attractions, snacks and so on! Will recommend this trip to anyone!
We were given the wrong directions the first time we booked this tour and so we didn't get your tax in time to be able to take the tour at all. would have taken way longer to get to the meeting spot then what we were told. So we missed the tour.
I recommend the guide. Very friendly and thoughtful. He lives in the island and knows his way around. He will take good care of you.
Fantastic tour, great to get out of the busy urban streets and see some nature in the centre of Bangkok without having to spend hours in a car or train. Went as a solo traveller.
Mr Tee was a fantastic guide. He was very friendly and caring. He made sure everyone got maximum enjoyment. It was a terrific break in the jungle to escape busy Bangkok streets. Highly recommended.
Incredible !! A great experience, all the activities were very fun, especially the traditional clothes. Thank you for everything.
Great trip with my tour guide Mr.Tee, very friendly and funny, he will make you discover a hidden place in Bangkok that you can not experience the same without a local. Thank you.
We just went on this tour with Mr Tee and we had a great time. We were able to bike across the entire province of Samut Prakan and get an up close and personal view of the locals in the area. We also loved the long boat ride in the Chao Phraya River which gave us exceptional views of Bangkok from a different aspect. Be warned, the bike riding is pretty intense due to riding on older bikes so hydrate, wear active clothing and bring plenty of bug repellant. Otherwise, we had a great time and Mr Tee was great!!!
We had an amazing day exploring Bangkok’s green space with Boi by bike, boat, and kayak. It was such a fun and unique experience! Boi was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and great at keeping the day exciting. We biked through hidden backroads we’d never have found on our own, saw beautiful sights, and enjoyed a mix of adventure and relaxation. The combination of cycling, boating, and kayaking gave us a fresh perspective on the city’s quieter, greener side. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Bangkok beyond the usual tourist spots!
Our guide was excellent. I would give this excursion a 5 except for the sometimes narrow, seemingly potentially hazardous bike paths that we took. They may not really be hazardous but I am 70 and felt a bit uncomfortable navigating, controlling the bike on these pathways. The leader did his best to keep us on the main roads which were absolutely fine, but a couple of destinations required that we take elevated pathways for a portion of the route.
I definitely enjoyed this adventure so close to Bangkok! Mr Tee was a friendly guide and he also paid great attention to safety. I love bustling streets of Bangkok. But I sometimes miss nature and a place with a rustic feel. As I rode a bike through palm orchards, I spotted a monitor lizard in a canal and many different kinds of butterflies flying across in front of me along the way. Mr. Tee picked delicious snacks for me at the market. If you are someone seeking a retreat from urban life, I’m sure you will love this adventure.
A day trip to the outskirts of Bangkok, Experience the rural charm of Thailand, breathe fresh air, and enjoy a trip that includes cycling, kayaking, boating, and visiting ports.
Amazing experience, could not recommend it more! Mr Tee is very hospitable and the bike trip was the highlight of our stay here in Thailand. Thanks so much!
The whole tour was excellent. Pond ( Khwan) is an outstanding guide. He lives in the island and knows all the green and less busy routes. Coming out of busy Bangkok and doing this tour was amazing. 10/10 for Pond for providing fruits like Jackfruit, pineapple, corn milk and pineapple cookies. He also gave me dried mangoes which his mother made. He also stopped at a local Buddhist funeral ceremony and explained me all the rites. Kayaking and boat trip was good experience
I was slightly dubious about this tour after travelling for 50 minutes to the location from my hotel… to see a man waiting on his own.. he was wearing a tour shirt but no other customers were present.. as a female solo traveller I seeked reassurance.. I spoke to the booking operator who said he is fine! I took the risk and placed my safety in Mr Tees hands! The best decision I made!!!!! Wow! We travelled a further 15m to the pier.. the crossed over to the island and National Park Bangkachao… This is the REAL DEAL.. not for young children as some of the experiences are a little reckless, but I like that! The tour was not ‘softened’ for tourists.. I saw no other tourists on the island..but I did hear and see the most magnificent birds, monitor lizards as I kayaked through the rainforest canals, climbed high up into the canopy of the trees to hear the bird calls. Cycling through the park was incredible.. such an abundance of flora and fauna! If you want a truly unique and REAL experience of wild Bangkok this is for you… you will not be disappointed!!
This experience exceeded our expectations. The guides were very friendly and genuinely excited to share their culture. I highly recommend that you make this tour a part of your trip. This was a highlight of our time in Bangkok!
A lot of fun, learned a little something on the ride about Thailand. Mr. Tee our guide was funny and informative we enjoyed meeting him the most You can actually feel the difference between the Bangkok hassle and the laid back jungle life just across the river
A great trip across the river into a different world, with Pond as a very friendly, passionate and expert local guide. Boat, bicycle and kayak transport allowed seeing many things, including monitor lizards in a more natural habitat as well as getting an impression of how different life is there compared to Bangkok. A wonderful experience topped off with delicious cool coconut water and longan fruits.
First and foremost, Pond is an excellent guide. Friendly, patient, upbeat and always looking for ways to add extra value to the tour. He lives in a lovely community and is rightly proud to show it off. We started in Bangkok before going to the pier and over to Bangkachao - a jungle island of 5,000 people. Bike riding, canoeing, a cookery lesson, Thai whiskey tasting and sampling local market food. Pond packed a lot in to the afternoon, including answering my many questions about Thai culture and teaching me some language basics. I’d happily go again!
It was really an amazing time in the jungle. And the experience really went beyond our expectations. Our Tour guides Mr.Tee and Pond are so funny and friendly. Pond even wrote us all cards before we left. The Kayaking part was unexpectedly good, we saw animals we have never seen before in such close distance. Mr.Tee and Pond also made sure to provide us snacks and water from time to time so you wouldn’t feel hungry or dehydrated while doing cardio under the sun. In general I can only recommend this experience to everyone who comes to Bangkok!
Mr. Tee and his partner were fantastic! Mr. Tee was very knowledgeable and answered my questions about Thai culture. He was very down-to-earth and was so hospitable throughout the tour. Throughout the tour, he gave out local Thai snacks (longan fruit, coconut snack, etc.) and ensured that we were all safe and comfortable during the bike ride around the island and canoeing. I can tell that he is passionate about his job! At the end of the tour, he helped me catch a motorbike back to the sky train (I'm not too familiar using "grab" or "bolt"). I definitely recommend this experience! You get to catch a ferry to one of the artificial islands next to Bangkok (Bang Kachao), ride a bike around the island, canoeing, and meet new friends!
The best part of the trip was experiencing the in-depth culture and exceptional hospitality of the Thai people. Definitely recommend for the truly adventurous!! Mr. Tee and team made this excursion a very memorable occasion not soon to be forgotten.
Got to ride, kayak off the beaten path. Also try local Thai snacks. Highly recommend. Tour guides were very knowledgeable.
The tour guide Mr. Tee and Bond are Super. They take care us very well since our meeting point at Wat Bangna Nok Pier. They know very well about Bangkachao, bring us to ride the bicycle throughout the small road, show us a lot of interesting place. We even see the beautiful sunset at the end of our trip. Must join the tour if you want to advantage in Bangkok Green Area (Biking, Kayaking, Rocket Boat).
The experience is like no other near BKK. Less than an hour away from Siam, this is a day trip that cannot be missed. Our guide Mr Tee speaks great English , is very warm and friendly and really looks out for your safety as well. Everything was covered for on the trip and we didn't have to fork out a single cent. I could never imagine an area like this existing just outside Bangkok and we're considering staying at one of the resorts in Bangkrachao the next time we visit to have a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of BKK city. You experience a very local river taxi, see how locals travel, taste local food and experience their warmth and hospitality without feeling like they're trying to make you buy their merchandise!
They are amazing!!!! If you are double guessing about this tour, don’t think any further!! It’s a great scape, break, from the big dirty city. Mr Tee is a lovely upbeat person and so is his partner. We had the best time!
This was the perfect day tour to get outside the city to enjoy some nature and local culture. First off our tour guides Mr. Tee and Bond were super friendly and fun. They took great care of us from initial meet up until the final drop off. The variety of experiences made this trip so memorable. Besides the biking around the area to get a very local experience outside the city, we also loved the opportunity to kayak in a canal and take a long tail boat ride around the river. The biking itself was easy and flat. And a lot of the time we rode on really interesting raised paths, something I've never seen anywhere else. Along the way we were given lots of tasty local treats to try and were taught about the area. And they take amazing pictures along the way they share with you after the trip. I've come to Bangkok many times to visit family and have to say without a doubt this was the best tour we've done here.
This was a magical way to understand the culture and surroundings of what is a unique and green environment in the middle of a bustling city. Mr Tee and Mr Pong were our guides and locals of the area - both of them could not have been more friendly and accommodating to our family.
This was a fabulous tour! I loved having a bike, kayak, and boat trip all combined in one tour. The island we explored was exotic. My guide went way an above to share his local experience. He had numerous kinds of food he had prepared to share along the way. He was patient with my bicycle skills. He carried a fine conversation the whole day. Overall it was an exciting adventure. I highly recommend!
This was a fantastic day out in Bangkok's green lung. Mr Tee and Mr Pond were excellent tour guides, really friendly and helpful. The joining instructions were clear. The trip itself was great, lots of cycling out in the greenery and fun kayaking too. Plus we got to try some of the local food. Cannot recommend this trip enough.
This trip is absolutely brilliant, I highly recommend it if you are in Bangkok! First of all, a massive thank you to Mr T for being so welcoming and understanding. I had only 1 full day in Bangkok and had some lastmin accommodation issues, which also meant that I ended up being late for the tour. He was very communicative, responsive, sent me all the details where he was waiting for me, talked to my taxi driver to ensure he dropped me at the right place, sent me photo of himself so I knew who I was meeting...And then the tour itself...Mr T lives on the island, he knows the people, the places there and speaks so passionately about his home place making the whole experience very different from other tours in a beautiful way. We cycled, walked around, and got on a long tail boat, this is a really lovely active tour but chilled at the same time, so anyone can keep up. Being on the island really makes you feel that you are in a different world. There is so much greenery, you see only a few cars, people are cycling around mostly, in general, a really lovely and relaxing environment just a few min away from the concrete jungle. Thank you for the incredible experience Mr T! Whenever I am in Bangkok, I will go for this tour for sure
Mr T was brilliant! He sent a photo of himself at the station so that I knew who I was looking for. Thereafter, he was so cheerful and chatty as he led our small group around the 'island'. The cycle was not taxing at all but it was very interesting seeing so many different trees and plants and houses. VERY sweaty too. Watch out for mosquitoes - wear long trousers! He answered all of our questions clearly. The kayaking was leisurely and in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the boat ride too. Being from Scotland, everything I was seeing was very different and interesting and very well led by Mr T.
Guide was friendly but didnt speak very good english but we managed. Got some good excercise and enjoyed the jungle paths and the water. Harrassed us the whole tour for pics to promote their business. Other than that I would say you can do this on your own. Bike was junk! You can rent a nice bike yourself and go everywhere this tour takes you for one fifth the price. Even had to pay for my own taxi back to BTS even though tour said would return me to start point. I would not recommend.
Don't Think, Just Do It! This tour should be on everyone's to do list. It truly is "The Best Urban Oasis of Asia." Go visit, take in the local culture and greenery, and just enjoy the surrounding beauty. The cool thing is, it's not overpopulated with the masses. Before the Bangkachao Adventure began, dealing with Buay and Eng is an absolute pleasure. They are so knowledgeable. I always end one tour with them thinking about what other tours I can use them for. This tour uses the local tour guides who are so friendly and know the area well. Both Pond and Mr Tee are both delightful to deal with and both have a good sense of humor. After all, both tour guides are locals living here and I believe born here. This tour was Awesome! This little island is a city upon itself within Bangkok. It is not Bangkok. I had so much fun while learning and eating. There were so many highlights I hope I don't forget any of them. First off, the adventure started with a bike ride around the island. As we cruised around, we enjoyed some local fruits and snacks. It was very laid back as we rode through the community along the pathways. And we went past the house of one of our guides. In the middle of all this, we stopped at another local spot while jumping onto a kayak. Here you can do by yourself, or go with a friend, or go with a tour guide. It's up to you on your comfort level. We kayaked around the canals, passed the floating market, went under a couple of bridges, as well as being so close to the Chao Phraya River on the other side of the canal. It was way cool. Then we jumped on our bikes again. From here, we saw more local fruits and vegetables including some Thai chili plants and some Lemongrass. Mmmm. There is so much greenery. We ended up taking a cooking class. I made a Fruit Salad. I forgot the fruit name, but if you know of Papaya Salad (Som Tum), we made this but with the local fruit instead. And I do enjoy spicy with many Thai chilis. After this, we continued the bike ride to a nice little area to learn more of Bangkachao. Then we went to an area for photo opportunities. If you're creative or not, some fun pictures can be had which will last a lifetime. Finally, the last part of the adventure was going out on the long tail boats as we rocketed around. This was Amazing. It was so much fun, especially since we were on the Chao Phraya River up close to the container ships and can see the skyline with the many beautiful hotels and distinct landmarks of Bangkok. I definitely recommend this tour. This tour was a great experience. In fact, I will do this tour again the next time I visit Bangkok in case anything new is added. Plus, I learn more the second time around.
Guys were very friendly, chatty and gave me lots of information. Bike cycle was nice through quiet part of Bangkok. They had lots of local snacks for me to try and took me too organic farm where I’ve tried some food and drink. Boat and kayak were okay. Cycling excellent if you fancy having chilled afternoon in busy city.
This is by far a must do trip in Bangkok. Mr T is very informative and passionate about this experience. He has excellent English and goes above and beyond on this trip. Would definitely recommend. He even sorted our transport back to our hotel and made sure we were safe and got back to our hotel safely. Very warm and charming man who appreciates his beautiful country.
The trip is amazing. This is a new experience from the well-known city life in Bangkok. The tour guides are local and they are truly familiar with the region. The trip started from the local ferry, and we rode across the area by a small biking path above the river, and we can see lots of unique plants and life in this area. The most exciting part was kayaking in the canal. It is basically like a small jungle.
This is a guided bicyling tour. I was assigned Mr T as my tour guide. Being a local villager, he brings me thru the track across the village, farms, water canals, bangkok green lung park. It is totally away from city life. The journey is custom made and we cant do it diy. Between the trip, we had kayaking in the water canal, raft boat ride around chao phraya river and several stops for local snacks and refreshing drink. It is a truely wonderful journey at an affoedable price. The terrain is flat for biking, just be ready for a long journey on bike. A good workout while enjoying the greens and see the local life.
Brilliant day! Tour guides were amazing and gave us the full Thai experience. Started off with a ferry ride over to the green area. Then we took bikes and went through a jungle like area, stopping every so often to take pictures. After that we kayaked down a very picturesque river stopping at the end for more photos. Then we got to visit an organic farm that sustains the whole area around it, also trying some local delicacies. After completing the last part of the cycle through a park, we got to go on a long tailed boat down part of the Chaophraya River, getting to see all of the big cargo ships. Couldn’t recommend this tour any more as it gave us an incredibly memorable experience as well as the fact we learned a lot about the real Bangkok. The tour guides were also very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. One thing to note is that you should be confident riding a bike and comfortable with boats/water if you want to do this tour as it involves some winding paths and boat rides. Anyone looking for a real adventure, try local foods and learn about Bangkok, book this tour!
The tour guides Mr T and Born were amazing, throughout the tour they both explained the sites I went past in detail and gave me time to take photos during our bike ride. They also took me to a local farm where I was lucky enough to see the farmers crops and try out their raspberries. Unforgettable tour, highly recommend if anyone would like to see the outskirts of Bangkok. Thank you!!!
The tour let us having fun with the adventure to explore the local. We have fun with the tie-dye painting, riding a bicycle and kayaking. That's very amazing. We can also have the shirt or the dress that we painting by ourselves.
One of the local guide is Tee. He is a sincere, patient and reliable person. Tee is proficient in conversational English and he is able to engage different groups of tourists with interesting topics. I highly recommend this trip for those who want to spent the afternoon surrounded by nature. The cycling route is a little narrow for city dwellers. However, the local guide is very patient and careful to ensure that your trip is a safe and delightful trip.
This tour was really incredible. I got to see a part of Bangkok that I would not have even thought to have gone to and had some really great experiences. Between the biking and kayaking, this tour is great value for all of the activities that you are able to do.
