My guide Vithyea was outstanding! Very informative during our 3 days of excursions. Highly recommended this tour.

The tour was just amazing. The temples around Siem Reap are unbelievable, especially Angkor Wat. The local tour operator, Angkor Partner Travel &Tours and our tour guide, Vithyea, was excellent. Everything was very well arranged and Vithyea's knowledge of the ancient history behind the various temples and sites was just excellent. I can highly recommend this tour. We will certainly be back to continue learning about the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Great trip , I thoroughly recommend it! I had a great guide Vithyea who was full of knowledge and interesting facts throughout the tour. His English is excellent so you can have a meaningful conversation at all times. Some trips you go on the guide only knows basic English and can only quote some phrases but can’t answer your questions. He was on time always and explained everything thoroughly. Thank you very much for a great tour of the sites!
The trip was well organised with all drivers on board and ready at each pick up / drop off point. Our guide ‘Bun Rong’ was excellent in English and expertly guided us through Cambodian history and culture. He had a great sense of humor and helped my travel companion when he needed rest but also fed my wish to explore. The hotel upgrade was worth it. We stayed in hotel Shinta mani. Very lovely facilities to relax in after a hard day temple viewing. The spa was very good also as were the breakfast / dinner menus.
4 day trip. Deluxe organisation but not cheap. Organisation out of Bangkok very good. Guided through immigration. Guide was excellent and went out of his way to be helpful and accommodate all our wishes. Hotel upgrade requested and more than fulfilled out expectations.
Was sceptical about getting from Bangkok and across the border to our tour, so I set out like it was an adventure. First leg, the Bangkok driver had a funky party taxi with neon lights, which I loved! The driver did not speak English but used Google translator which worked a treat and we shared lots of jokes. He left us at the border and we had another man get us thru to Cambodia customs, and yet another to get us through where we met our tour guide and driver. It was a well coordinated tag team event. Our guide was Burong and our driver was Panna, and I could not have asked for a better pair. We settled in our hotel and were immediately taken on our first part of our world wind tour, being a late afternoon boat ride to the floating village. Without boring everyone, the next day was full of temples around Angkor Wat, Borung said to leave the best til the last day. Our final day was Angkor Wat and boy it was well worth watching the sunrise over this magnificent temple. After three more temples we were taken back to our hotel to relax before the big 8 hr drive back to Bangkok. Borung, our guide, was highly knowledgeable, and his English superb. He went out of his way to show us everything at our pace and never felt rushed. Also was told lots of stories about Cambodia which I loved. Will highly recommend him as a guide to anyone. Panna, our driver, was a great safe driver, and extremely courteous Thankyou APTT for making this tour available 💜
Excellent experience. I did 6 days tailor made trip with APTT which included all the temples and remote nature exploration. APTT looked after each and every aspect to make sure my stay was comfortable. My Guide Mr Bunrong was a kindhearted, experienced and knowledgeable person who was a delight to travel with. He made sure that I get maximum out of my stay. Highly recommending to travel with APTT.
Very good tour to Angkor Wat by private van. Since I travel solo I was the only person in the van and paid the maximum price. My tour guide, Sawa, in Siem Reap was quite good, knowledgeable and very personable. He not only toured me around Angkor Wat but also took me to museums and shops in Siem Reap. Sawa also gave excellent recommendations on first rate local eateries. I decided to extend my stay in Cambodia and visit Phnom Penh for a few days and did not return to Bangkok on the van. It was good seeing the countryside on the way to Siem Reap but a repeat of it was not necessary. I’m glad I visited Phnom Penh. It was worth the extra expense. I highly recommend the 4-day tour with Angkor Partner Tour.
The tour was fantastic. I was really looking forward to seeing all the temples and it did not disappoint. Our guide Bun was friendly and informative, and we appreciated his attentiveness to our comfort and he was very informative of the history.
Excellent guide. Perfekt english and with great knowledge. High standard hotel with nice personell. Transportarion working smootly.
Undertook the 4 day Cambodian Angkor Wat tour based out of Siem Reap (picked up from Bangkok). Firstly it is a long drive and the border crossing is quite farcical but we were in good hands and it is a good way to see a lot of the country side. Visiting Angkor Wat and associated temples were unbelievable and a very worthy addition to the bucket list of global wonders. Our tour guide Neng Bunrong was brilliant :). Friendly , funny, knowledgeable and patient, thoroughly recommend him to anyone :). Finally Siem Reap is a lovely place to visit, heaps to see, pub street hilarious to people watch, food is amazing and all very cheap. Also worth mentioning that the public toilets in all places visited were the cleanest I have seen in the world . so now is the time to do this tour as not only are temples mind blowing but Siem Reap really needs the tourist coming back post Covid :)
Our guide and drivers were exceptional. They were prompt, courteous and open to flexibility in our plans. Great hotel accommodations.
I cannot imagine not fully appreciating the Angkor Wat temple complex and the town of Siem Reap. My whole experience was fantastic with Angkor Partner and Tours especially Phon Raks, my guide, and our driver Cheang. Unfortunately perhaps due in part to the Water Festival about to take place, the Thailand border entry station left much to be desired especially after a relatively quick exit from Cambodia although this is in no way under the control of the tour operator. Mr. Raks and Cheang are both very experienced as a guide or driver. The other drivers or coordinators such as Vithyea all did a fine job. I would highly recommend the private tour experience to anyone. Great job everyone.
Great adventure in Cambodia! If you’re debating between a 1-2 night trip or this one, choose this one. It’s worth the extra time to explore Cambodia and Angkor more thoroughly. It’s a beautiful country with a rich history. You will fall in love with the people and their heartbreaking recent history. Yes, the border crossing will stress you out. Try to relax, it will be fine! Enjoy the adventure of a land border crossing. There is a separate guide that helps you through the Cambodian immigration portion; he speaks English and helps you fill out the necessary forms. The Thai side you navigate on your own, but other than a waiting in line, it goes smoothly. The hotel was excellent, with a nice breakfast and wonderful staff. The drivers on both the Thai and Cambodia side were courteous. Our tour guide was very well informed and educated on Cambodia’s history and all things Angkor. His own past experiences enhanced the tour. A big thank you to the guides and drivers for a very nice time on this trip!
Nice arqueological sites in Angkor and well preserved too. The driver from Poipet to Siem Reap too slow, although he said the car had speed limit counter. The frontier in Poipet was confusing and it was not fault from the company, it was fault from the customs in both sides. The company should offer an option to fly from Bangkok to Siem Reap, even for a higher price.
We were picked up on time from our hotel in Bangkok. The vehicle was big and spacious and air conditioned. We stopped once for the bathroom and grabbed some snacks at the service station. The boarder crossing was intimidating but did go smoothly, we were met by a guide ( I guess prearranged for part of the tour, he arranged everting for us) We were then transferred to a vehicle on the Cambodian side, nicer van and driver, We were met by our guide ‘Chai’. Arrived at hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the standard, it was lovely. Naturally over the next 2 days we visited the temples and it was amazing. In the evening we got a tuk tuk to pub street each night. Great fun , great food and night markets right there. $44 AUD each night for 4 dinners and 4 beers. Return was ok, van in Thai side was not as nice -air con struggled and driver spoke no english. If you’re in Bangkok and have 4 days it’s well worth doing, I feel it was good value for money and not expensive in Cambodia. Great for families as well ,
Overall my 3nights/4day tour was fantastic. The tour guide, Mr. Chhay was well versed and helped a lot. I loved the hotel I was booked in Tara Angkor Hotel (near Angkor Natiinal Museum). I’m rating it 4 stars because of the communication challenges. There are some details that could be straightened (communicated to the travelers better) out for smooth and safe travels. Some FYI for the new traveler: 1. The drive from Bangkok to the Cambodia border Poipet is about 4.5+ hrs. Do not expect the driver to speak english. Hence, the driver cannot give you further info. There will be 2 stops for toilet and buy food/drinks 2. The contact at the border will ask for nice new US bills $40 (they will reject it if your money is ripped or crumpled). Crossing the biarder could take 30 mins-2 hrs depending on how busy it is. Lucky for us, it took us less than an hour. 3. The drive from the Cambodia border to the hotel in Siem Reap is 2.5+ hrs. The driver also doesn’t speak English. 4. The tour schedule was not laid out in detail. So, ask or call the operator a few days before the tour. 5. On the return home, you are on your own to cross the border back yo Thailand. I was lucky, no one was in line. I was done in 30 minutes. I left Siem Reap at 12nn. My other friends took 2+ hours. One left Siem Reap at 3p and the other 8a. It’s hit or miss. 6. On the way back, make sure before getting on the van that your driver knows your hotel. My driver got lost (he is not from Bangkok) and we circled for 30 mins. Communication was frustrating since he doesn’t speak English. Google translate and maps didn’t help Us either. I called the hotel to speak to the driver. I whatsApp the operator to give directions. I got dropped off a bit far and had to walk 10 minutes to my hotel. 7. Tip them as you may, they do hard work for us
Fantastic trip. Our guide Sava was wonderful- Knowledgeable, kind, funny and he spoke both English and French. Nice hotel, great drivers and Angkor Wat exceeded all expectations!!!
Good guide, knowledge of ancient history, but also in general All sites were amazing, worthwile visiting
Crossing the border from Thailand to Cambodia is a bit of a challenge, even for a veteran traveller. The expedited service through passport control and visa service was appreciated. The car and driver from the border to Siem Reap and the hotel made the trip easy. The hotel was nice, good breakfast, clean room and nice pool. A guide is a must. Yoeun Serakyuth did a great job. Without a guide, the average traveller will not experience all the area has to offer.
first off, don't hesitate - do it! here is what you need to know...the entire process is a bit umm...confusing. But I am going to explain my experinces so you don't have to worry like we did. We got picked up at the hotel in a van by a driver that spoke no english. We didn't understand what was to come and he could not explain it to us so we just sat there and wondered. he did stop a couple times along the way for fuel and food. Apparently he thinks we all like KFC so thats where he stopped. I do, but the wife not so much but she got snacks at the mini mart next door. After 4+ hours you arrive at a parking lot near the border. You will speak to a man who is either not too friendly or just not confident in his english? Either way you will leave you bags with a lady and she will take it across for you and her husband will have them on the other side for 300 baht. worth every cent! The man will walk with you the 300 yards to the border crossing and meet you at the first stage (he has to go around due to his status) and he will take you to a room and take your passports. I know, we freaked out too! He went and did all the visa work and brought them back about 10 minutes later. He than walked us into Cambodia another 300 yards to another van where our bags were loaded and a new driver that spoke a little english Another 2.5 hours and your taken to the Tara Hotel Siem Reap. This is where you will meet your guide Vithyea. He explained what we were going to do the next day and what time to meet. he also told us where to get dinner "Pub Street" get used to it. The Tara Hotel is a plain old 3 star hotel with functional internet. Don't expect to work from the room because the speeds are minimal but able to do emails. Room is comfortable and they give you free water to brush with and drink. The breakfast is OK but we did get some cereal from the mini mart that tasted better than what they had (after morning 1). not close to Pub Street so its a $3 ride each way and about 10 minutes. Lots of shopping there and every restaurant has the same items. Totally western menus and food. The next day it was hotel breakfast (included) followed by visits to some of the coolest places you have ever seen. You will stop for lunch followed by more places than back to the hotel. Dinner at Pub Street again Day 3 will be the big one for Angkor Wat with the sunrise at 5am. Don't skip it! Back to the hotel for breakfast, a nap and a little pool break. Pickup at 2 for more amazing sights the final day you have an option...do the reverse drive as part of the original package or do what we did which was pay an extra ~$150 and fly back which I would do again. The drive out was an adventure, going back that way woudl seem like a waste of a day but thats just my opinion. Vithyea is great and totally accommodating. We wanted to stop and the landmine museum and the butterfly farm and he was a tour guide the entire time. Anything extra we wanted to see, he made it happen and we did ask for more things. His english skills were great and he is a walking history book. I would have loved to meet his family as he really is a nice man. I would tell anyone that asks, this was a Once in a lifetime experience!
Most memorable are the guide, Yuth, and Da, the driver. And a lunch we had at the house of a local friend.
All of the temples are amazing! Each one had it's own unique feel and history to go along with it. Our guide Yuth was extremely knowledgeable and really taught us a lot about both current and ancient Cambodian culture. He even showed us around a night market in Siem Reap where we got to enjoy lots of different types of Cambodian street food! I would note that the transportation from Bangkok to crossing the border into Cambodia felt a little sketchy due to most of the people not speaking much English, but once we made it to our hotel and met Yuth, everything was effortless. His English is great and the hotel was superb. To anyone on the fence about booking this tour, I'd highly recommend it and to those that have already booked it... Choul Mouy!
The trip was very well organized. The guide, that helped us to cross the Thailand - Cambodia border was very helpful. Good guides in Cambodia.
Also spart euch das Geld. Bucht Ihr lieber Transport nach Cambodia und ein Hotel und dort nur Guide. Wir hätten sicher 300-400 Euro gespart .
