I stayed here for a week, and I have to admit that, as a light sleeper, I had quite a few complaints about the poor soundproofing in my street-facing room. But there was one person who made all those complaints feel so much less important. There was a lovely young woman at reception who always greeted everyone with a warm smile and showed such genuine kindness and empathy. When I hurt my hand, she helped me find an antiseptic spray. She recommended some delicious local snacks, and when we happened to run into each other at the convenience store nearby, she even took the time to walk me back and show me exactly what to get. These may sound like little things, but it’s this kind of thoughtfulness and genuine human connection that makes a place memorable. She made me feel truly cared for, and by the end of my stay, I found myself remembering her kindness much more than the sleepless nights. And of course, the food at the hotel was genuinely delicious, which was another big plus! The hotel may not be perfect, but thanks to her, I’ll remember my stay with a smile.

The hotel rate is on the higher rank for the area. The room we booked is over usd100. We were a little disappointed with the room compared to its pictures. Guest also needs to walk in bathrobe through parking lot exposed to passerby to get to the pool. Upside: the food was delicious. Restaurant staff was extremely hospitable. The bed was comfortable. The pool was nice too.
This hotel was spectacular in every sense — a beautifully preserved sanctuary tucked away from the city’s chaos, with wooden interiors, lush gardens, and a magnificent century-old tree watching over it all. From the warm welcome to the authentic Thai breakfasts served in the courtyard, every detail felt thoughtful and genuine. The staff took perfect care of us, and the whole experience carried the true essence of Thailand — intimate, elegant, and completely unforgettable for our honeymoon. Its location made exploring effortless too, from quiet river rides to the golden temples to evenings soaking in the city’s energy, always returning to this peaceful refuge at the end of the day. If you’re planning a trip to Bangkok, do yourself a favor and stay here — you won’t find a more magical or authentic place to call home while you explore the city.
a beautiful oasis in one of the most lovely neighbourhoods in old town Bangkok. located in a beautiful building (dates from 1870) with a lush garden and pool and all the necessities you desire. staff is very friendly and helpful. my room was in the back and it was so silent. slept like an angel. breakfast is good with western and thai options and they have a restaurant on site that serves lunch and diner so you won’t be hungry. there is also a spa but I sadly didn’t go there. recommend! will return.
Spent a relaxing weekend here and it was exactly what I needed. 🤍 What I loved most was the atmosphere. The hotel has a charming vintage character that feels both elegant and cozy, surrounded by lush greenery and nature. It’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down, enjoy the moment, and forget about your busy schedule. The wine and beer buffet was such a pleasant surprise. Great drinks, delicious food served throughout the evening, and a lovely setting to sit back and enjoy the night. But the real highlight was the hospitality. The staff made us feel welcome from the very beginning, and the chef was so friendly and approachable. His food recommendations were spot on, and you could really feel the passion behind every dish. A beautiful hidden gem for anyone looking for a peaceful escape, good food, good drinks, and genuinely warm service. Looking forward to coming back again soon. ✨
