This was my fourth time staying at this hotel, and I had a high opinion of it. For my fourth stay, I booked their largest family room. When I checked in on the 16th, I found the bedroom air conditioner wasn't cooling and was extremely noisy. I tried to adjust but couldn't. I went downstairs to inform the staff, and the receptionist told me that the 16th was fully booked, but she could change my room at 10 am on the 17th. I understood. That night, I had to move my bedding to the sofa in the living room to sleep. Because of my height, the sofa in room 301 couldn't accommodate me, and I slept with my legs bent almost all night. On the 17th, I went to the front desk at 10:30 am to ask her to change my room, but she told me again that the rooms were fully booked and I couldn't change it until the next day. I was already feeling uncomfortable because her expression told me she was very impatient. I told her that I hadn't been able to sleep properly last night because of the air conditioning problem in room 301, and I had spent the whole night sleeping on the sofa. She casually said "I know" and then just looked at me or discussed it with another receptionist, without continuing to soothe my feelings or offering any other solutions. I then asked if there were any smaller rooms than 301 that I could move to; I just wanted to get a good night's sleep. After some discussion, they moved me to the second floor. I went back to the third floor to pack my things to go to the second floor, when a staff member knocked on the door asking for my third-floor key card. I said I needed to wait a minute because I was packing my personal belongings, but the staff member ignored me and kept knocking and calling for the key card. By this time, I was furious and loudly told her, "Please wait a minute!" Only then did she stop! This stay was terrible, and this will be my last stay. I retract all my previous positive reviews and blacklist this hotel.

Its almost one hour drive far away from suvarnabhumi airport. The breakfast is good in the morning. And the hotel price is very affordable. Has swimming pool and a small gym section. But there are not proper real bangkok vibes, around there that we see in the reels and videos. May be we booked very far from the main area.
Stayed at The President Hotel Chokchai 4, Bangkok for 2 nights. The hotel offers decent value for money in terms of room size. Rooms are spacious, basic cleanliness is maintained, and fresh towels are provided. Complimentary water and coffee are also given daily, which is a good plus. However, there were several issues during our stay: - I had booked a king bed, but was provided a queen bed instead, which was disappointing. - The AC was not working properly initially, and even after assistance from reception, it was inconsistent and the remote did not function well. - Hot water in the bathtub was not available, making it difficult to use. - Toiletries were not properly provided, which is unexpected for a hotel stay. - The biggest concern for Indian travelers — there is NO Indian food at all, despite some listings suggesting otherwise. Breakfast mainly consists of pork and Thai dishes, so not suitable for vegetarians or those expecting Indian options. - Location is quite far from main tourist areas, so travel time can be long. Overall, the hotel is okay for a budget stay if you only need a place to sleep, but there are clear issues with maintenance, service, and facilities. Not recommended for Indian travelers expecting familiar food options.
Good Value Suite in the Heart of Bangkok ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We snagged a great deal on a suite at The President Hotel and overall it was a worthwhile stay. The property is visibly aged — you notice it in the parking area, the building exterior, the furniture, and the air conditioning — but the service more than makes up for it and the staff were genuinely helpful. Getting the A/C going was a bit of a struggle initially, but once sorted it was fine. Breakfast was a buffet included for the whole family — both adults and kids — with a decent spread that left nothing to complain about, which is always appreciated when travelling with children. The hotel also has a clean swimming pool which was a nice touch. The location is central Bangkok but away from the typical tourist bustle, which we actually preferred. There's a good local market nearby and an MRT station within easy reach, making it convenient to get around the city. If you can snag a good deal like we did, it's solid value for Bangkok. Just go in knowing it's an older property and you won't be disappointed.
The hotel building is a bit old, but since I mainly needed it for sleeping, it was acceptable for the price. The rate included breakfast. Breakfast was quite local mostly thai food, very much like a rice and curry style meal. The taste wasn’t bad and there were almost ten dishes to choose from. However, guests expecting a typical hotel style western breakfast might be disappointed. The swimming pool was a bit dirty. My room itself was okay but the bathroom had an unpleasant smell and the air conditioner was very loud. The service was not bad but not great either. It felt like there weren’t enough staff for the amount of work. For example, in the morning the dining area was quite messy, food wasn’t refilled, some dishes were almost empty, used plates were left on tables and overall it looked unprofessional and dirty. Good things, parking is convenient. There’s a 7-11 nearby and the area is easy to get around with plenty of places to eat
