The Peninsula Bangkok

Staying at The Peninsula Bangkok was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel is elegant and beautiful, with a timeless atmosphere that feels luxurious without being overly flashy. The highlight for us was definitely the room and its incredible panoramic view of the Chao Phraya River. Watching the boats pass by and seeing the Bangkok skyline across the river was beautiful both during the day and at night. It is the kind of view that makes you want to simply stay in the room and enjoy it. The complimentary shuttle boat is another lovely part of the experience. Taking the boat across the river is not only convenient but also adds something special to the stay and makes you really feel connected to the riverside atmosphere of Bangkok. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. Facilities and amenities were generous and thoughtfully provided, with everything you would expect from a hotel of this level. The entire property is beautifully maintained, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. The staff were attentive, warm, and genuinely made us feel well taken care of. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. There was a great selection of food, everything was high quality, and enjoying breakfast in such a beautiful riverside setting made the mornings even better. What we enjoyed most was how everything came together — the beautiful hotel, the panoramic river view, the boat rides, the facilities, and the excellent service. It felt like more than just staying at a luxury hotel; it was a relaxing Bangkok riverside experience in itself. We had a fantastic stay and would be very happy to come back again.

5/5 Stars — An Unforgettable Riverside Sanctuary in Bangkok Our stay at The Peninsula Bangkok was exceptional from start to finish. The property is in a phenomenal riverside location, completely clean, elegant, and exceptionally secure with discreet, thorough security screenings at the entrance that give true peace of mind. Flawless Service & Atmosphere The staff here define hospitality—every single team member was unbelievably accommodating, friendly, and respectful. We loved spending time at the Long Bar, enjoying wonderful live music alongside a fantastic selection of fine wines and Champagnes. Outstanding Dining & Location Every meal across the hotel's restaurants was delicious, and the daily breakfast spread was incredibly impressive and absolutely delicious. The shuttle boat transfers were awesome as well, making getting across the river effortless—plus, having a large shopping mall just a block or two away within easy walking distance was incredibly convenient. Rooms & Amenities Our balcony room was gorgeous with stunning views, high-tech amenities, and expansive working areas that made staying productive a breeze. The WiFi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. Between relaxing by the elegant pool and exploring the great surrounding area, everything was smooth and luxurious. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and will definitely be back!

Best hotel! I always love staying here…. Had a week here. It is the best hotel in Bangkok! Situated right on the river.,with fantastic views, the best buffet breakfast, great staff and butler service. Suites are spacious with exceptional views. 3 large swimming pools, gym and spa. Property situated in lush tropical gardens with long driveway off main road. Boat shuttle service on river is a win. Love using the shuttle to get around. Next to largest and latest Sook and shopping centre IconSaim Peninsula knows how to build things to last with exceptional service. We will be back hopefully soon.

We have been staying at the peninsula several times in the past year.. while the property and rooms are a bit dated but it is in a nice location by the river. The only thing that I feel a bit underwhelming is the consistency of the service. Sometimes it was so casual and you feel like you are staying at your friend’s house. Breakfast chefs are not smiling and not in a happy mood. If you speak Thai to them then it becomes so casual and like you are eating at an open market, sometimes you hear their conversation that you didn’t want to know. So lately I have been speaking English to all staffs and things were a bit different. I think service needs to improve a bit to match the property reputation. Pool staffs are great..
