I had a pleasant stay at the Heritage Hotel, largely thanks to Ms. Pimmy, a true professional at the reception. She made the check-in process very quick, and I also want to thank the staff for the room (Comfort Double); it was spacious and comfortable for my stay of nearly a month. There is a pool on the top floor with a fantastic view of the Mahanakhon building. I also made frequent use of the gym, though it could use a wider range of weights; the maximum is only 10 kg, which is really insufficient. The air conditioning couldn't quite keep up with cooling the gym, so it got rather hot while working out. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and street food options nearby, as well as a 7-Eleven right across the street. Silom Road is just a 4-minute walk away, and the metro station (Chong Nonsi) is right next to the hotel—very convenient for getting around—though rooms facing the main road can be a bit noisy, especially in the morning. It’s not the metro that causes the issue, but rather traffic noise. Overall, however, it was a good choice for me, and I enjoy coming back here.

How a Long Stay Turned into a Hostage Situation???? Our trip started on a bad note the minute we unlocked the door and were greeted by a heavy cloud of paint-thinner fumes. Looking around, the room was spacious, but that was the only positive. The bed was sunken in the middle, the AC sounded like construction equipment, and every step in the hallway sounded like it was inside our room. When we asked reception for a second key card, we were told they simply "had no more." This created a constant puzzle: if one of us stepped out, the other had to sit in the dark without AC or electricity. The final straw was looking out at the viewless balcony (where smoking isn't even allowed). Realizing we couldn't endure a long stay here, we reached out to Agoda and the hotel to cancel the rest of our dates. They flat-out refused. We were stuck paying hotel prices for a property that barely passes as a rundown hostel.
Stay away from this place!!!!!!! RUNNNN🫠 🚩Awful smell & poor upkeep: The room reeked of paint thinner the moment we walked in. It's spacious, but extremely old, run-down, and poorly maintained. 🚩Uncomfortable bed & noisy AC: The bed mattress was hollowed out and wonky, and the AC ran super loud all night. 🚩Zero soundproofing: You can hear every single footstep in the hallway and every door slamming shut. 🚩Inconvenient key policy: They only gave us one key card, claiming they "ran out." If one of us left the room with the key, the electricity completely shut off for the person staying behind. 🚩Pointless balcony: There is zero view, and smoking isn't allowed. Don't book this thinking you'll get a usable outdoor space. 🚩Horrible customer service: We booked a long stay and tried to cancel the remaining nights through Agoda due to these conditions. The hotel flat-out refused to refund us. 🙅🏻♂️This establishment is a low-tier hostel at best, not a hotel. Save your money and book elsewhere!!!!
Location wise, this is a great hotel. It’s right next to the MRT and there are tons of things to see and do in the neighbourhood. Not complaining about the service either, we checked in around 12am and there was still someone there to check us in. However the cleanliness of the room was highly questionable. We had originally booked a 3 night stay but on the 2nd night we had to bail and go to another hotel because within 2 days we had found 7 cockroaches. 7!!! There was also a stain on my bedsheet (looked like a bug poo stain) and when the shower door opened and wiped against the towel on the floor it made the towel BLACK. I would not recommend staying here if you really value cleanliness in your hotel stays.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at The Heritage Bangkok, mainly because of its excellent location in Silom. It offers easy access to the BTS, restaurants, malls, and many of Bangkok's attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. The hotel was flexible with our check-in, and we also received a complimentary room upgrade, which we appreciated. However, the upgraded room had a leaking air conditioner. We reported it immediately and requested a room change, but the staff initially preferred to have their technician repair it. When we returned later, the AC was still leaking, so we requested another room again. Thankfully, they accommodated us and transferred us to the room type we originally booked. The replacement room was clean, spacious, and much more comfortable. There were a few minor inconveniences. Extra pillows come with an additional charge, and slippers are not provided unless requested or purchased. The hair dryer in our room also stopped working during our stay, but the staff responded quickly and fixed the issue. Breakfast had a limited selection compared to other hotels, but the food we tried was enjoyable. I especially recommend the pork fried rice and the stir-fried pork with basil. Check-out was smooth and efficient. Although we didn't get a chance to use the swimming pool, it has a nice view overlooking the Mahanakhon area, which looked inviting. Overall, I'd recommend The Heritage Bangkok for travelers who prioritize location and value. While there are a few areas that could be improved, the staff were responsive, and the hotel's location made our stay enjoyable.
