The staff members here are hands down some of the best I’ve ever encountered—extremely polite, welcoming, and attentive from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. A special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Club Millesime, and especially to K. Friend, for making my stay so exceptional. The level of service and care provided throughout my time here was truly outstanding.
I really enjoyed my recent stay at this hotel. I took an upgrade option to utilize a Club Millesime room and have access to the lounge. The room was large and beautifully appointed and the housekeeping standards were very high every day. The walkway connecting the hotel to the skytrain station as well as Terminal 21 and the subway is very handy. The welcome I received when checking in from Mira and Friend was first class - they are genuinely wonderful employees of this hotel. My only small issues were that afternoon tea in the club lounge is a little bit limited and should have more cakes and pastries. You would also think that if they are doing an afternoon tea service they would have a small "milk jug" to pour your milk into your tea but they do not. The Lounge also gets very crowded during the evening cocktail session and staff are run off their feet and the food runs out very quickly. Also it was a bit frustrating at the number of staff using the guest lifts when they do have their own service elevators. Numerous times housekeeping and bell staff got in the elevator jumping between floors... The building itself is quite old and the lifts are quite slow. Having staff use the guest lifts really slows down your journey when trying to get between your room and the lobby and vice versa. Other than these minor things it was a perfect stay and I will definitely return.
Stayed at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit for 3 nights during a business trip and overall had a comfortable stay. The room was probably the highlight for me — very comfortable and a lovely space to come back to after a long day. I also ordered room service during my stay and the food was great. Breakfast had a decent spread, although I felt the selection and overall experience could be better for a 5-star hotel. Location is excellent. Terminal 21 and BTS Asok are easily accessible via the connected skywalk, and Nana station is also within walking distance, making it very convenient for getting around Bangkok. There were, however, a couple of things that could be improved. At certain times of the day, not all the lifts seemed to be operating, and I experienced waits of more than 5 minutes just for a lift to arrive, which was quite frustrating. I was also a little disappointed by the lack of flexibility at reception when my colleague and I requested a 1pm late check-out. We were checking out on a Wednesday and had hoped that a one-hour extension could be accommodated, subject to availability. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much flexibility offered. Overall, a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location, with great rooms and room service. There are just a few aspects of the service and facilities that I feel could be improved to better match the expectations of a 5-star property.
We chose to return to the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit for our 27th wedding anniversary, and we are so glad we did. The entire team went out of their way to make us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. They did a beautiful job setting up our room with anniversary decorations, and the strawberry-themed anniversary cake which was such a thoughtful (and delicious!) touch. The room itself was spotless, and super comfortable. We especially loved having our own personal balcony and jacuzzi - a really relaxing space to return to after exploring the city. Breakfast was exceptional every morning, and the Club Lounge was a huge highlight for us - great food, drinks, and really friendly service. A massive thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our special milestone so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
We had an amazing stay and would like to thank the entire Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit team for their outstanding hospitality! From the moment we arrived, Meena from the Front Desk welcomed us with a warm smile and made us feel genuinely cared for. Throughout our stay, she was helpful, attentive, and proactive in ensuring everything went smoothly. A special thank you to the team at Club Millésime Lounge; Mariela, Friend, Tide, Henry, Gift, Crispy, Baeju, and Bia. We thoroughly enjoyed the lounge experience. Breakfast quickly became the highlight of our mornings, with a wonderful selection of delicious dishes each day. The Hainanese Chicken Rice was our favourite! Another standout was the freshly baked chocolate cookies served during afternoon tea. They were absolutely irresistible. They were soft, rich, and so good that we simply couldn’t stop reaching for more! The Concierge Team; Pete, Tui, Natty, Boy, Tony, Tee, Tow, Tum, Palm, Kevin, and Khao took great care of us every day, assisting with our luggages and always being ready to help whenever needed. Lastly, thank you to Kaew and Manee from Housekeeping for keeping our room spotless and ensuring turndown service was done perfectly each day. The genuine warmth and attentiveness of the team made our stay truly memorable. We look forward to returning again soon!
