The hotel is beautiful, the service is perfect. The room are clean, spacious, and the staff is doing everything so we can enjoy our stay. The breakfast is also quite complete, many options of food and the view is breathtaking. Special mention for the club signature, with really great food and good choices of drink. Kob is so sweet and adorable and made sure we had an amazing experience.

Modern, quirky hotel with fantastic Bangkok views SO/ Bangkok is a very modern, stylish hotel with plenty of character. The rooms are a good size with a quirky, contemporary design, but the real standout is the view — overlooking Lumphini Park with the Bangkok skyline as the backdrop. Absolutely fantastic, particularly as the city lights up at night. There are some great little restaurants in the hotel, breakfast has a decent range of options, and the rooftop bar is definitely worth checking out. You get those same incredible park and city views with a great atmosphere. A couple of things worth knowing. The lifts are painfully slow, and the layout is a little strange. Reception is on the 9th floor, so depending on where you're coming from, you may need to stop there, walk across to another bank of lifts and then continue to your room. Not a huge deal, but it can get annoying. The other slightly unusual feature is the bathroom. It’s a decent size, but rather than being completely separated from the bedroom, there’s a curtain dividing the areas. Personally, I prefer a proper separate bathroom with a little more privacy, but that's obviously down to personal preference. Overall, a very cool hotel in a great Bangkok location, with excellent views, good food and an impressive rooftop bar. Fix the lift situation and I'd happily give it five stars.
Loved the vibes here, every detail feel thoughtful and refined. The atmosphere felt sophisticated. The room’s spacious and comfortable. Great breakfast and dinner, i love your desserts the most. What really stood out was the service and friendly staff named “khun Ploy” the service staff during our dinner, we were looking for the place to have dinner and got in the Red Oven restaurant with questions. she approached us and introduced the menu and promotions until we decided.
SO/ Bangkok is pure luxury, style, and a slight blow to your self-esteem because the staff dress significantly better than the guests (and I wish I were kidding). From the second we stepped in, we felt seen, heard, and deeply VIP. A ridiculously attractive concierge in a high-fashion uniform whisked us up to the 25th floor, where a super polite and friendly French lady, whose name I couldn’t remember, checked us in with effortless style. They blessed us with a free upgrade to a "Blue Room," and wow -it was perfect. Spacious, incredibly comfy bed, and a view of Lumpini Park and the Bangkok skyline from every single window that belonged on a postcard. You also have to hit the infinity pool. It feels like you're swimming right into the park, and true to the hotel's vibe, the people-watching there is absolute top-tier. Location-wise, it’s a cheat code. The MRT is right across the street, putting Bangkok’s best spots on a silver platter. Silom is an easy walk, and Chinatown and Wat Arun are just a few quick stops away. Breakfast was an everyday masterclass in style and deliciousness. We also binged the free afternoon tea and felt like absolute royalty checking out the jaw-dropping rooftop bar. 10/10, would let the staff out-dress me again.
Really enjoyed my stay at SO Bangkok! My flight arrived super early in the morning, so I requested an early check-in. Unfortunately, my preferred room type wasn’t ready until around 12 PM, but the staff were very accommodating and invited us to relax in the executive lounge and enjoy breakfast while waiting. It was a nice touch and made the wait much more comfortable. We were also lucky to get upgraded to a Water Element room with a beautiful view of Lumpini Park. The room was unique and different from the usual hotel rooms, which made the stay feel even more special. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the Bangkok skyline and is definitely worth visiting. The food was also consistently good throughout our stay. Overall, great service, beautiful views, and a very comfortable stay. The little touches from the team made a difference, and I would definitely consider staying here again when I’m back in Bangkok.
